LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Thank you very very much for this great rom, works very smooth and snappy!
My twrp installation got overwritten by LOS-Recovery. It is safe to install TWRP again after installation?
So far I noticed three little bugs:
- Google feed is still missing after installing google search. Maybe this commit is missing: https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_packages_apps_Trebuchet/+/289553
- I can't grant sms permission to google play services. Which unfortunately prevent the installation of google pay
- Automatic brightness seems to be buggy: Sometimes the brightness level changes automatically to the smallest possible value. It will automatically get increased again after a few seconds.

1. That Google feed commit hasn't been merged yet
2. Did you install gapps after the first boot? I've seen other people have that problem when they don't flash gapps with the rom. You can factory reset, or do a clean flash again to resolve the issue.
3. I haven't installed it yet so can't help with that one

Yeah, as there are still merge conflicts.

Unfortunately yes, I did a factory reset and flashed gapps before first boot, issues are resolved now.

Seems to be working for now, I'll keep an eye on that.

Tried to download it to give it a go, Google Drive says the file can't be downloaded at this time, too many downloads.
Can you share the link again, please?
Thank you

Does GPay work ok? And is it PlayStore certified?

The installation deletes the twrp. If I put it back, it won't start. The brightness bounces.

Encryption works? Decrypt from twrp?

I couldn't test gpay in real life conditions yet, but at least I get no error message, so I think it should work. PlayProtect certification is working. :good:

Many thanks for that information, prevented me from reflashing

I can't flash any zip file via the los-recovery. The internal storage seems to stay encrypted. Any idea how to decrypt? Or ist this behavior expected? Is there any other way to flash zip files?

I was using it and had no issues.

I was not able to connect with my car BT (yatour cd changer) and my headphones Sony wh-1000xm3. However I was able to pair my watch Polar Vantage V (1st gen).

I can check a2dp with my car headunit later. Do you have any advice regarding the encrypted storage? Is there any way to decrypt storage while in recovery?

What recovery, TWRP or Lineage recovery? TWRP should work, but Lineage one doesn't support userdata decryption by design.

Testing right now, everything seems to work great. The only thing is that I'm not able to find a full working gcam, sometimes video doestn´t work, or slowmo, or something. Google restoration is ok too.
Magisk doesn´t work.

Only able to use native camera myself at this stage. I'm sure gcam we'll have to wait for, but out of curiosity I tried several camera apps from play store and they all FC at some point.
Everything else is working. Still damn smooth for BETA!

The Google services/apps of "home and assistant" do not work. Every attempt to open causes my screen to no longer respond to touch. Microphone access also not working for the hotwords. Cannot log it as I can't access the screen after I attempt to open, and the logs never save. I'll keep trying to log it and post if I can. Not really worried though, I think this is where it should be for BETA.
Thanks for all your work!

There are a few bugs here and there:
- Bluetooth message that the bluetooth has stopped working(it showed this since start but now it appears rarely - Did clean flash including wiping internal data)
- Can't manual select SIM operator(this is still present in most if not all android 9.0 roms too but here it mostly don't even bother searching)
- Can't disable SIM2 it prompts to just remove the SIM if you want it disabled(what? why?)
- Don't see a way to remove the "on-body detection" if you don't want to use it and the mobile data if they are off(check picture one)
- Digital wellbeing & parental control crashes everytime you go to apps and notifications(check picture 2)
Other than these, rom is smooth as butter and battery life is ok. You can use it as a daily driver
Does the Magisk 19.5 works on Android 10 now?
If it does, should I just flash Magisk zip in TWRP or patch boot.img on Magisk manager ?
Is it possible to install over an unencrypted filesystem?

I have the same, +GCam
Great ROM, using it as a daily driver since 09/23. The devs have clearly done a great job of putting this together.
Some bugs I found:
- The lock icon in the lockscreen is floating above the clock, even after attempting to unlock or input password.
- I'm also getting the Bluetooth and digital wellbeing crashes. However, Bluetooth crashes a couple of times after reboot and then stops. It also seems to helps when attempting to pair it with a device (headphones in my case).
- Maps allows location tracking, but location sharing does not recognize location setting has been turned on.
- No option to control LED light at all, even with third party LED control apps. Charging the phone turns the LED on unconditionally, no way to shut it off.
- Few OS customization options in comparison to Android 9, but I'm assuming that stems from the fact it's still beta.
Despite these small bugs, it's a great OS. Thanks devs!

Sorry, my mistake, appologies to you. Camera doing shots in big size. But not pure stable (sometimes freeze or force closed when switch mods), but other things is fully right in ROM, good job. (I have strange problem, after flash and boot, connect with PC good and transfer working, but after some minutes, if i remove all from backup, connect with PC don´t work, but it is which some my apk or settings, I don´t know...)
upgraded from rr to this rom. works good. testting Gcam from burial v8. for me works nice.

Just use the default lineage 18 manifest and then use my device and vendor tree
Thanks!
Can anyone recommend gapps with google setup wizard?
NikiGapps has issues with google setup at first boot.
Nevermind, that's sorted.
Nice work. Waiting for Pixel Experience android 11, lineage os is just too plain for me
Very smooth and fluid rom, kudos to the dev.
Only thing fingerprint, which isn't as accurate most of the time.
Thanks for the great work

How is now your experience with Gcam? Is still fully working without freezing and closing after switch between lenses?
And how resolutions of pictures and size? Working with full potential of original lenses or pictures are smaller and not so good?
I try this ROM only few minutes and i have a problem with freezing and closing (Burial, i think) and quality looking not so good like with same GCam on miui ROM? But maybe I am wrong.
I want clear android very much for this device, thanks developers, but MiNote10 is photo mobile, so need fully working camera.
Thanks for your experience.

Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Do not install Gapps, they are included in the ROM as RIL needs them!
The ROM requires a full wipe, back up what you have!
If you get a battery screen after flashing do a full wipe and flash again.
Support for this ROM isn't guaranteed, this ROM was made for Android 11 bringup (marlin, sailfish). By testing this ROM and reporting bugs you help make the trees more stable. Thank you.
Bugs :
SELinux is permissive (won't affect daily usage)
Night light and other color related functions are broken
You tell me.
Instructions :
Download the latest build
Boot latest TWRP
Tap "wipe" and then tap "full wipe" and type "yes" in the box
Flash the latest build
Reboot
Downloads :
Build: Discontinued
Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Sweet! Thank you so much for supporting the pixel and replying so quickly! I'll try it out after work
Sorry, I can't find google play after installation.
I couldn't find Google Play after installed.
Hi Electimon I can't find Google Play too. I tried install BitGapps, NikGapps, FlameGapps, OpenGapps, not luck at all...
Update: Google Play works, after installation Magisk. (OpenGapps pico)
Also OS has lags but i find solution.
Change display DPI to 420 (it's regular Pixel resolution)
Change CPU governors (Big and Little) to shed.
Now phone works very smooth

Thanks for the DPI change tip. Was able to install Magisk and change the DPI through terminal, and agree on being a bit more snappier. Haven't change the CPU governors to shed yet, and will need to dig a bit deeper at what the default is. Don't want to over tax my backup phone....kinda like 'ole yeller' and trying not to bork it up.
For those looking for Google Play, it won't be in the build as the OP has not included GAPPS, which I prefer that he continue to keep it stripped out. Specifically when the build goes Official, I like have a de-googled phone.
Good work @Electimon and will continue to go through the phone and logcat for a bit more detailed assessment.
Pixel xl gen 1 Marlin support?
Hii everyone
Thanks for this rom
Working nicely on sailfish
just one problem
a particular app is not working ( banking app )

I had the same issue with LineageOS and solved it by adding back some restrictions and debugging settings. Here a starting point: https://blog.snapdragon.cc/2019/09/03/fully-unroot-custom-android-roms-to-run-banking-apps/

Thank you @LumenReaper for this build!
I can confirm fingerprint is not working, but this is no bigger issue to me.
Flashed Magisk and changed fingerprint two times. But safetynet is still failing - no idea. My sim card is also not detected.
I use the tablet for youtube and yatse mostly. Youtube Vanced workes fine and my Bose headphones are also connected and working.
Looking forward to this ROM thank you.

Thanks for installing. Glad to hear you're getting along with the current feature set. I should have mentioned that my tablet has WiFi only. Feel free to send me a log if you want, but I expect it will be difficult to fix it without the device itself.
Personally, I have not had any problems with failing safetynet. In which situation does it cause you problems?
Will continue with the fingerprint scanner as soon as I have time again.

You' re welcome.
First I want to thank @LumenReaper for the efforts to keeping our tablets up to date.
Is this ROM stable enough to use it daily or can I better wait?

I do not see any issues with failing safetynet so far. It was working in 17.1 so I just wondered about the error after changing the fingerprint of the device by the help of magisk.
I will try to build the rom on my own with your sources - hopefully I can help with the non working SIM card.

If you need a SIM card , fingerprint or camera then you need to wait. For normal multimedia usage I call it stable enough.
That won't matter for me, I'll flash the ROM and patiently wait until those work on the new ROM.

Sounds great. Let me know if you run into any issues with building.
Do you think this wll also work for the TB-X705F, the successor model?
I've installed this ROM but one thing I noticed is that the internal storage and the contents in it aren't visible at all on MiXplorer Silver (The file manager I use)
It isn't visible at the default file manager too so I rolled back to Lineage OS 17.1
I would appreciate if this is fixed @LumenReaper

I cannot confirm this problem. The default files app shows me the internal storage and an SD card with content. If I would have had such a serious problem, I would not have published the rom yet.
Have you done a clean flash? Have you tried the format data option in TWRP?

No, I dirty flashed it.

There is a separate TWRP for the tb-x705f series - any chance that this will work with your ROM?

I have not found a link to the code in that thread, but I expect the rom not to work when you need a different TWRP.
Great work Lumenreaper! (now I need to find the courage to install it on the only operational tablet that I own )
I did manage to build it myself using Docker & the docker lineeage-ci-cd image (see https://github.com/lineageos4microg/docker-lineage-cicd )
Hello,
LumenReaper!
Thanx for your work, sir!
Tell me, please - Lineage OS 18.1 made on Android 11.0?
There is no word about it in first topic of this thread.
If Yes, where can i find Google Apps package for it?
Asking , because at https://opengapps.org/ there is nothing for Android 11
Thank you
