Will there be more Android 10 update?

Is SELINUX Permissive or Enforced?? Do banking apps work without root or not? For example Revolut - can it be installed without Magisk from Google play?

i can't download it
download fails before the end of it

About bugs, I can add a lagging curtain(or statusbar, sorry i dont know how its called on English ). If i turn off blur it become better, but some lags steal here

if you have a Android 9 rom i guess you have an old firmware too (one for android 9)
so you should flash firmware for android 10 (no fw is labeled android 11 yet)
i guess (i did not try) firmware V11.0.1.0.QFGMIXM should work (just like for crdroid v6.11)
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/lavender/stable/V11.0.1.0.QFGMIXM/
or you can flash the lastest V12.0.1.0.QFGMIXM like i did but you need to edit the updater file to install the rom
flash also the last recovery !

Thanks men, I didn't read the rom firmware required sentence in the bottom.
So, I can download V12.0.1.0.QFGMIXM, but how do I have to change the updater file? What do I need to put in there?
Also another doubt, the xiaomi.eu latest rom would work and provide the required firmware to later install this crdroid? Or should I better install the chinese one?
One more doubt (maybe not the last): do I have to do all the installs from recovery? Or the firmware is better to do it from the compute with XiaoMiFlash?
Thanks a lot

The required firmware is MIUI 11 not 12

you should ! easier faster less trouble
you never know what could go wrong when you do it with comp (drivers link or else)
but xiaomiflash should"flash xiaomi"s phone (if not what is the point ??)
you have to wipe everything to make a clean install
i don't know if your flash tool dirty flash or clean everything first
with recovery you format the partition or wipe it all and you know you are good to go for a clean intall

On Android 10 Orangefox v.11 always decrypted the storage with my pin.
After a full clear installation of Android 11, I am unable to decrypt the DATA storage with my PIN (generated when the system first started).
The system is always unlocked with a pin code. But in recovery mode, decryption failed (with this pin code "Password failed, please try again!")

Did you format the data? Because that usually happens when you haven't formatted the data.

Yes. I wiped Dalvik / ART Cache, Cache, System, Vendor, Data.
After this in "Menu" tab /Manage Partition/Data & red button "Format Data"
Maybe need first "Change FS" ext4 to ext4 & then "Format Data"(i will try in new build)?

Warning: Do not flash partial update OTAs (under 1 GB) on a modified/rooted device! If you want to use partial OTAs, you must first flash the full OxygenOS zip that it applies to, and then flash the partial OTA from stock recovery. Flashing partial OTAs from TWRP will either fail or soft brick your device. You can return to a usable state by flashing a full zip in recovery.
FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Download the necessary files from the section above and follow the steps below:
Note: Dirty flashing is fine if you are running an old OxygenOS version or a ROM based on OxygenOS. If you are, however, coming from a Custom ROM, you must clean flash.
For Non-Rooted Users with a Locked Bootloader and Stock Recovery:
Download the full zip/incremental OTA from the downloads section above and place it in the root of your internal memory
Reboot to stock recovery > Shutdown device > Press Volume Down + Power buttons together
Select language > Install menu > Install from internal > Select the full zip > Flash
After a successful flash > Wipe cache
Reboot
Note: First boot may take some time, so please be patient and wait for it to boot.
[Dirty Flash] For Users with an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery coming from H2OS/OOS:
Download the full ROM zip from the downloads section above
Transfer the zip to the root of your device's internal storage
Only needed if you are using a TWRP that does not ignore the compatibility.zip check: Remove the compatibility.zip from the downloaded full ROM zip with either MiXplorer or Total Commander (not with any other tool!) on your device itself
Reboot to TWRP and take a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
Flash Magisk Uninstaller (recommended)
From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache and cache > Swipe to wipe
From the TWRP menu, Install > Select full ROM zip > Swipe to flash
Flash the latest stable Magisk in case you want to root
From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache and cache > Swipe to wipe
If you were decrypted earlier, flash xXx No Verity 4.0.zip from here
Reboot
Note: First boot may take some time, so please be patient and wait for it to boot.
Warning: Dirty flashing (update) can be risky! Remember that if you face issues after dirty flashing, you will have to clean flash.
[Clean Flash] For Users with an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery:
Download the full ROM zip from the downloads section above
Transfer the zip to the root of your device's internal storage
Only needed if you are using a TWRP that does not ignore the compatibility.zip check: Remove the compatibility.zip from the downloaded full ROM zip with either MiXplorer or Total Commander (not with any other tool!) on your device itself
Reboot to TWRP and take a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
Flash Magisk Uninstaller (recommended)
From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache, cache, system, vendor and data> Swipe to wipe
From the TWRP menu, Install > Select full ROM zip (modified one with compatibility.zip removed, in case you're on Oreo or unmodified one, in case you're on Pie) > Swipe to flash
Flash the latest stable Magisk in case you want to root
From the TWRP menu, Wipe > Advanced wipe > Select dalvik-cache and cache > Swipe to wipe
Optional: If you wish to decrypt, format data via TWRP (please note that wiping the data partition, which we did in the 5th step above, is not the same as formatting it) and after that flash xXx No Verity 4.0.zip from here
Reboot
Note: First boot may take some time, so please be patient and wait for it to boot.
Never Settle.

Hey buddy,
Appreciate you're busy with this and there will be installation instructions as well but was wondering if this will be flashable over 4.5.1 stock ROM witu ElementalX kernel installed or if we will have to revert back to full stock and update that way?
Sorry, first time one OnePlus and each manufacturer / ROM scene has a slightly different way of approaching things.

Just got my OTA update ^^
Me too. No noticeable differences I can see, e.g. my 5Ghz WLAN ist still 3 times slower than my 2.4GHz one.

Hey buddy, it will be a flashable zip, i am trying to upload full zip which will be a TWRP flashable zip as i am also a rooted user. You don't need to go back to stock as it will be a dirty flash
All you do is download the full zip
Reboot to TWRP
Wipe Dalvik & Cache
Flash the Full Zip
Flash Magisk or SuperSU for root
Flash Kernel (Optional)
Reboot System
You would have a working 4.5.2 OS running again with TWRP and EX :highfive:

Awesome,
Not new to flashing but always great to have a guide on a new device. I always try and read twice before flashing once. And back up always, especially in the early days of a device.
Quick question though: would you not need to flash kernel (optional) before root because wouldn't the root zip modify boot.img?

Ideally you are right but this is what i generally follow and it has worked for me.
If you don't mind an extra reboot i recommend just dirty flash the rom and Magisk first and boot into OS, there on you can reboot into recovery and flash the kernel.
Flashing kernel before Magisk gave me problems in the past on the 3T when i used bluspark , as this is the new device and only EX is out yet, please check with @flar2 if he recommends flashing the kernel before the root or after.
If anything goes wrong now we have the full zip so dirty flash and all fine
I wouldn't flash the kernel after this update cos EX will most likely come out with a newer version reflecting the new source. Just noticed this thread, I'm actually uploading the 4.5.2 full zip myself lol, just to help people who get into trouble rooting/TWRP'ing/etc

Yes indeed,
I've seen some ROMs / kernels in the past require a full reboot before coming and installing other things and in the grand scheme of things safe is sorry for the sake of a 1 minute reboot process. Thanks for your hard work. Can't wait for the download link to be supplied.

Introducing you the best way to install new Android 9 GSI roms
We remind you that we are not responsible for damages caused by a bad installation, but read all the contents
For this to be possible, I advise you to have the device with Bootloader unlocked and already be using Treble recovery
WHATS IS KVT ?
KVT is a base for you to install any GSI (not sGSI) aonly 64-bit based on Lineage or Aosp on your Albus, keeping the main features independent of the chosen GSI image such as:
Double-twist to open the camera;
Chop-chop for flashlight;
Wave to silence;
Pick up to stop ringing.
In addition of course turbo charge, sensors, camera, fully functional radios, Fix Green Tint, Auto Focus, Front Camera, Volte, Check SafetyNet pass, Gcam by San1ty,
IMPORTANT: Volte fix, function properly enabled, but to work you need to install ims.apk
HOW TO INSTALL ROM GSI
*Install Treeble recovery
* Wipe System/Data/Dalvik Cache/Cache
* Install KVT 1.4 - Developer: davidsonsjesus
* Suggestion GSI Developer: NFound
ROMs in the ARM64 version aonly
* Once the restart is complete, go back to the recovery and install GAAPS nano android 9 arm64
*After that if you like you can install Magisk and ready
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q: Is my device still factory-manufactured, what should I do to use a GSI?
A: You must first unlock the bootloader of the device, then install TWRP Treble.
Q: Hey and I already use GSI, but I want to update?
A: no problem, just install kvt, make the following wipes described above and upgrade your device
Q: I already know kvt, how to update?
A: Just download the KVT file. restart the device in recovery mode, Dalvik Cache / Cache, in install choose downloaded file and install, after restart the device and ready, updated
Q: Will kvt always be up to date?
A: Yes, updates are required so that the device always works normally

But after reboot i have google play crash.
I really like project treble from google. But i cant find a easy way to update the roms.
Anyway thanks for the reply.
well, I already fail on getting to that treble recovery. GDrive says I have to request the permissions, but clicking on request just comes back with "message couldn't be send". Or is this the one meant: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262904007189 ?
In that case you might want to update the link in your post
But do I understand right? When coming from stock, i have to
install treble ready TWRP
install GSI enabled 8.1 ROM
wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
install KVT
flash a Pie GSI ROM (Oreo kernel afterwards not neccessary because included in KVT?)
reboot
flash opengapps (why nano? won't the rest just work too?)
reboot to ready system
We know what this is missing...
Does this carry over features or are those features contained within it?
Not working bro I have tried havoc is and pixel experience.

The instructions are clear you do not need to install the room 8.1 since the function of the KVT is precisely to activate the functions that they specify from the beginning so that the Pie room works correctly
1.- install treble ready TWRP
2.- wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
3.- install KVT
4.- flash a Pie GSI ROM
5.- reboot
6.- flash opengapps (any gapps)
7.- reboot to ready system
Ok, interesting. I'm surprised because it's so small and flashing a full treble ready 8.1 ROM would be about 10x the size.
A question for the developers of this ROM. This ROM will continue to be developed, will there be update with the security Pach in the coming months? Thank you

You can update the GSI, if it gets security updated, you just flash the new GSI as system
Bro video calling is not working how to fix it ?
HackerZer0 said:
The instructions are clear you do not need to install the room 8.1 since the function of the KVT is precisely to activate the functions that they specify from the beginning so that the Pie room works correctly
1.- install treble ready TWRP
2.- wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
3.- install KVT
4.- flash a Pie GSI ROM
5.- reboot
6.- flash opengapps (any gapps)
7.- reboot to ready system

No. Didn't even stay on bootleggers, because it's horrible. Went back to stock, will try again in a few days. But in theory it's the same like installing it completely new, with the difference that wiping /data shouldn't be necessary and you might not need to install kvt again unless it's a newer version
works perfectly. i have no words to described how my his patch makes my life easy. thank you very much
it's working, but I think the used kernel could use quite some performance improvement. On bootup, the keypad for SIM pin and display unlocking are reacting extremely slowly and especially in the minutes after a reboot it can happen that half of the UI is pretty much frozen. You can open notifications and use the navbar, but it can't open settings or the recent apps view.
I'm not sure if it's a ROM problem but since they are perfromance issues they should be kernel related. (running Pixel Experience, since the ROMs seem all to be quite some halfbaked ****)

Instructions :
Backup all before flash!!
Check if you have unlocked bootloader and updated firmware if not download and flash it with twrp and reboot recovery before start flash
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1FfYb6hWviggupkQRBNfE-ah85MSl-1aB
First of all you need to flash or boot @Giovix92 TWRP (I recommend)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/development/recovery-twrp-3-3-1-0-tissot-manager-t3976117
or official twrp
Boot into twrp and factory reset
Flash the rom zip
Flash twrp installer (skip if you use twrp survive option)
Reboot recovery
Flash opengapps nano or pico
If you want to root, flash Magisk
Reboot to System.
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Yes but for now I wait stable public trees for us,for now I keep android 9 updated and I try to build 6.0 soon!
until the situation of android 10 remains "beta" I will stay on android 9 for stability.
android 10 is a great working in progress, right now I don't feel the need to go to 10 but I'll work on it willingly! The development of tissot needs people who keep it alive!

You're right but I'm learning. I only claim to continue building this rom for my only smartphone because I want to keep an updated rom 9.0. For now the tag isn't essential for me but I'll see what I can do!
Any particular opengapps recomended? I've found some trouble installing latest opengapps builds in LOS 16. Latest opengapps is working fine in crDRoid?
Thanks for your effort.

Tried to do everything by the book:
Was running the previous cdroid version.
BAckuped everything.
Wipe clean (not the Data)
Flashed the new one with twrp
After that I could not load the twrp recovery anymore and it kept loading the lineage recovery tool which I have not seen before.
I ADB flashed the twrp but not on recovery partition. Recovery was not found and therefore I flashed it on boot(the command that worked: fastboot flash boot twrp.img) But then I could not flash any Gapps . It gave me a message that a partition was missing or something.
What seemed to work but not quite:
Wiped everything with the lineage recovery tool
AdB sideload the new rom
After no success on any Gapps package with this method, I tried the MindtheGapps and it sort -of - works: I got google but cannot restore my google data

You shouldnt flash img from fastboot only boot that, fastboot boot twrp then flash installer.zip file of twrp from the hotbooted twrp, then do reboot to recovery.

Sorry I don't get what you are saying. I did this:
Open the folder where your TWRP Recovery .img file is saved.
Then open a CMD window inside that folder. To do that, Shift + Right click on any empty white space inside the folder and then select Open command window here.
Connect your Android device to the PC. Type the following into the command window to boot your device into bootloader/fastboot mode:
adb reboot bootloader
└ If your asks for permission to “Allow USB debugging”, tap OK.
Once your device boots into bootloader mode, type this into the command line.
fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.x.x-xxx.img
└ Here modify twrp.img with the name of your TWRP recovery .img file.
Once TWRP is successfully flashed on your device, type this final command to reboot your device.
fastboot reboot

Any information regarding JIO VOLTE
I know that Volte might not be possible ever in realme 1. But JIOCALL app is also not working in any of the custom rom. I really want to use this rom , but the only thing stopping me is that my sms/calls will not work. Can you please share any info if you have to make jiocall app work..
---------- Post added at 08:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:10 AM ----------
Somehow i got jiocall app working, and the sim was also registered and status was connected. But i am still not getting any calls/sms. And if i try to call, it says "use your default dialer, your device is already volte"."JioCall App should only be used to make rich calls". This means i can only call to the person who is using jiocall app.
Awesome work!

And OTA doesn't work in any rom as of now. Even if you get OTA in any rom (Bliss), then do not install it.

Get into twrp format data and wipe system, data, cache, dalvik, internal. Flash stock rom. Then you can flash anything (i mean ROM).
Never use reset from settings. It causes infinite loops.
Just wanted to say how awesome this is.
Hey, I used the rom and it worked as intended and it was an awesome experience. Gotta say, you guys know your stuff. I am in love with the pixel experience plus as the bundle makes it very easy to flash and it works almost flawlessly(except for, of course VoLTE, @MpS005 user - https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=9393824 told me that the source for cellular network is closed in mediatek chips so it is really hard to activate VoLTE) but I love the ROM anyways and I must commend your hard work. Just want to say keep it up and I'll be waiting for when you guys crack the VoLTE problem. I am so in love with pixel experience that my next phone sure is going to be a pixel.

I feel sorry for that. You need to flash stock ROM through twrp. Then boot into stock ROM. And from here you can proceed to flash custom ROM. Anyway I don't recommend flashing this ROM now as it has no VoLTE and is outdated. Try other ROM that have VoLTE.

Yes, you have to flash Ozip and please check the twrp you flashed has this feature of flashing ozip and also leave some 3GB storage in the memory card as ozip has to be decrypted to zip.

Updated everything i could from now onwards kindly see all of my top 3 Owner post
thank you
Hi @murtaza1326 and congratulations for your new work !
I have installed this rom, following your instructions in OP but seems there is some problems.
When I restart in recovery, twrp is gone and there is only lineage recovery.
I know that this behaviour is due to our device that have A/B partition, so, when I flash a rom I do this step:
- go in the twrp (if I don't have that I do fastboot boot twrp....img)
- wipe system, data and cache
- installing rom
- installing twrp
- reboot in recovery
- installing rom
- installing twrp
- install gapps (optional)
- reboot
Ok, this get me a full rom functionally, very well.
Now, I want to root my device, so I boot into recovery and I flash Magisk v21.1 (or v21.00), when I reboot it come to fastboot loader and I can restore all only reload twrp by fastboot boot twrp....img, ecc....
Why I cant' install Magisk ?!

my steps are correct and because of this behaviour i mentioned multiple times do not install twrp permanently
just use lineage os recovery & when you flash magisk from it
then it will be fine (if it says signature verification failed just select install anyway & it will install it)
again i repeat do not install permanent twrp zip if you want latest magisk to work

mmm, is a behaviuor of rom based on Android 11 ?
I'm on crDroid 6.10 and many versions before, and twrp works always good, I installed Magisk 21.1 without problems.
twrp give me many usefull stuff, like backup and restore and is difficult to leave it...
And if I use a old version of Magisk, you think resolve it ?

then magisk r is fine
also you can always hotboot & restore your stuff whenever you want so i don't see any issue there
