Tried to root but now can't boot up -fixed - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

Hi guys,
I can't seem to boot up after I successfully root it with the file name "SM-N950F_U6_9.0" through odin v3.13.1
Really not sure what I did wrong :crying:
Currently trying to download the stock firmware to recover it
How do I upload pics when I'm still new?
*edit*
I flashed the stock firmware and managed to install magisk through TWRP. The issue is that I didn't go into recovery straight from fastboot

Note 5 N920G Stuck at Samsung logo

I'm in a weird situation, I flashed the latest stock firmware for my phone (N920GDDS4CRD2_N920GODD3CQJ2_N920GUBU4CRA1_HOME.tar) through odin and now it is stuck. Then I went to download mode again to flash twrp just to try to wipe cache and stuff to get it working, no luck as it wouldn't boot into recovery. Then I tried flashing the same firmware through odin again but I get an error (sw rev. check failed), I know why I am getting this. its because the phone doesn't allow downgrading and the firmware that I am trying to flash is the latest one. Any help would be appreciated.
Check last twrp installed. Next try flash any custom rom.zip

How to install stock recovery

Does anyone know how to remove TWRP and reinstall the stock recovery again without flashing the whole Stock firmware? I'm currently on a LOS 17.1 and want to stay there.
I'd like to test some things (Magisk in this case) with the stock recovery hoping that this solves issues but I flashed TWRP with fastboot and I haven't found a stock recovery img anywhere and couldn't find it in the stock ftf file either

As far as I know in the latest stock firmware of your phone in the images folder there should be a recovery img file. Flashing that should work.
Thanks for the reply. I checked the ftf file and it has neither a "images" folder nor a recovery.* file but only lots of sin and ta files. Are there other firmwares somewhere which may have them? Doy ou know where to get them? Got the ftf from xperiafirm

Question HELP : Boot Loop and can't enter recovery / download

Hi All...
i unlocked my Samsung A8 2021 bootloader, patched the AP file with magisk and flashed it with odin.
i am now in bootloop without any way to go into recovery or download mode.
tried all buttons combinations with pluging ang nnpuging the device.
i now sww posts regarding pathing only the boot.img and the entire AP file but the damage has been done...
anything i can do to make my device working again?
thank you!
ok i managed to enter download and went back to stock with odin.
what did i miss?
should i now patch only the boot.img in magisk and do it again?
will that work?

Hey @tlccksww , how did you get back into Download Mode? I botched my update with Odin and can't get Download Mode to launch. I can get to the recovery, can also run ADB commands, but can't get back into the bootloader.

Samsung a51 stuck on boot loop after reflashing latest stock firmware after uninstalling magisk

I had magisk flashed on android 11 and i followed the uninstall instructions to uninstall magisk. Then i reflashed stock firmware (android 13) from samfw.com in download mode using jodin3 and heimdall and there were no errors and it was a successful flash. On reboot, it's stuck on a boot loop and i can't even switch it off. What can i do?
just enter recovery and flash original boot.img
how do i do that? where do i extract boot.img from and what do my odin options have to be?
i tried reflashing stock firmware again and it's the same problem
extract boot.img from stock firmware

the problem is your bootloader..
in order to fix that you need to extract boot.img from downloaded stock firmware (search google how to do that)
then flash it using odin
