[Q] ATIV-S Registery

I can't seem to open the register via the Interop Unlock helper app.
If I touch the toast notification, it opens the blue "samsung" screen, but it doesn't go into the register, as it should.
Is it even possible to use this method on GDR3?
Screenshots:
No on GDR2

Is there any way to get it working on GDR3? I might aswell wait for 8.1 and hope they enable it there...
Oh FFS dude... there are *multiple* threads already discussing this, use search (if you can't be bothered to read the full thread for a given hack before trying to apply it, which you should be doing anyhow). There's bold text RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE INTEROP UNLOCK THREAD telling you that it wouldn't work...
If you didn't install Diagnosis before installing the Samsung update that comes with GDR3 (it's not GDR3 itself that's the problem, it's the Samsung firmware update), then you will need to roll back to an older ROM. Simple as that. I'd like to find a new approach, but I'm mostly focusing on getting root on Samsung phones, and on non-Samsung-specific interop hacks, for now.

what do you do to restrict recovery access on rooted note 8 ?

hello all,
i have been wondering and searching for quite some time on scenario when you lost/misplaced your rooted phone and want to have piece of mind knowing for sure whoever find it can not access your personal data. is there such an apps/utility/setting that will enable us to do so ? on unrooted phone we have frp lock and google lock. since we rooted our phone those 2 features are no longer able to stop anyone to get into recovery mode and do whatever they want.
i found a topic of twrp password protection https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software-hacking/twrp-password-protection-thread-t2990816 but is not fruitful according to devs.
any of you have been thinking the same with me ? what did you do ?
many thanks !

Any help to unlock moto xt1028 just to use with apps for my baby?

Hi friends. Any help to unlock moto xt1028 just to use for apps for my baby?
Dont need to place calls, just apps like cartoons and some videos (as a mini tablet)
When turn on it shows an activation screen and have no access to phone dashboard or options
I know that have to unlock bootloader first... and then flash a clean rom, they seems a little hard but will try... have done this a few times (flashing... not unlocking bootolader) but cant find a tutorial really seems to work or have a lot of thanks to be sure it will work...
Thanks in advance from my baby ?
I have an old Moto G (titan) I use for testing. I have an old sim inserted to allow it to boot and use WiFi for apps download and YouTube.
I'm not sure why you need to install a ROM if you don't need too?
There is a guide here to unlock the bootloader

GOSHDARN DARNIT... OEM UNLOCK TOGGLE MISSING FIX SM-950W

Hey guys I just got the Samsung note..8 m 950w..
I'm in Canada the thing is stuck on Android 9 and phone can't ota update with any carriers here.. I've looked up the process of unlocking the bootloader first thing you need to do is enable OEM unlock toggle in developer options.. however I don't have that switch at all in my developer options so I followed the instructions to disable the automatic time and date and switch it backwards beyond 7 days...then click update, after disabling auto system updates in developer options..and reset..
I tried about 4 or 5 times and that's the only way I can find for tips on how to enable this oem.unlcok toggle which I'm.missing..
I have Odin setup and drivers and it's connecting to my note.... But if anyone has any solutions for me it would be greatly appreciated.
These are the only instructions I've been reading on how to enable the toggle for the OEM unlocking...in developer options and after I reset.restartphome after these steps...
it doesn't do anything .... the toggle is still missing does anyone have any tips or maybe you can give me an alternate way to enable the OEM unlock toggle?? so I can get this piece of crap tooo something better than what it is .. I just see it as a waste of a great phone if I can't update it at all I know there's a way but I don't know what I'm doing wrong
I hate all this Samsung blowwtttware and I just want to get some Android 10.or 11 and TWRP on this biatch... would be very nice... Anyone can help me to get this little sissy b**** OEM unlocked unlock I'll buy u a pizza...
Thanks.in advance..
My eyeballs have reverted me to another posting I will be reading

[INFO] [Exynos] Note 8 - Exynos - N950F/FD - OEM Unlock Option available?
Hey all, As the title says, i own a Note 8 Exynos Model N950F and there is no OEM Unlock in Developers option. Can anyone confirm the same? Exynos Model Only. Regards **Mod edit** - some info on how to get OEM Unlock in dev settings here...
forum.xda-developers.com
I'd love a pizza lol, but I think it might become cold and moldy in the shipping to Germany
I don't use my Samsung phone anymore, but I know with Samsung's OneUI, they hide the OEM-Unlock Toggle when you freshly flashed the ROM, until you insert a SIM card.
I believe you don't have to wait, you just have to insert the SIM card and reboot.
If you still don't see the Toggle, maybe OneUI doesn't like your SIM card? Maybe it wants a specific SIM card, like from a specific country or so?
Keep in mind, our Galaxy Note 8 won't receive System updates anymore, stuck @ Android 9, only quarterly security updates nowadays.
Back then I did try Custom ROMs, but I was unsatisfied, because the Vanilla Android ROMs were missing features/apps that I liked, like Samsung Health (only way to use the Bloodpulse-Sensor), Samsung's Camera App, Dolby Atmos etc...
Also keep in mind, Samsung phones have got a Security Chip. If you unlock the bootloader, you permanently void warranty + Samsung Pay & Secure Folder will stop working permanently.
