GCam Zoom 50x

Hey guys, the last version of PX camera (it's a build for Pixel phones) it's out and works on MI A3

Just go into settings and enable 50x zoom

Not Working

Which Android 10 ROM do you have on the phone?

Check if you have Camera 2 API enabled, some custom ROMs don't have this option on by default.

Yes camera 2API is enabled on my phone. Every Gcam port works on my device expect for cstark's Gcam port. His port crashes every time i open the app.

I'm using Pixel experience, maybe it's has something different from others roms.

I am using cstark PX 4.0.1. Everything is working fine except portrait for rear camera. Any solution ??

No, only works on Pixel experience rom with Android 10

Yes. I am using but as i said earlier portrait is not working for rear camera

50x zoom is useless, photo's taken at 50x zoom will be useless

Gcam video stabilization question

Hello. This is my first thread in XDA sooo... greetings! I'd just like to ask a quick question...
The video stabilization on my installed Gcam doesn't seem to work even though it is enabled in the settings. I tried different configuartions (1080p 60/30 fps, 4k 30/60fps) but still with no signs of stabilization.
The apk I installed is Gcam 7.2.010 Ver. 2.3 by urnyx05.
I was just wondering if there are other apks (for Mi 9T Pro) with working video stabilization or do i need to use Magisk or TWRP to make this work... or this feature doesn't work yet on Gcam ports just like the slowmotion feature.
I tried searching about this but with no luck (at least on Mi 9T Pro forums). That's why I made this thread as a last resort

Welcome to xda mate. I was looking for the same gcam and finally found one. Actually it doesn't work great in 60fps but still better at stabilization. It is the onfire version and here the link: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-onfire/

Thank you for the suggestion, but this port still doesn't seem to work on my phone, but its OK!
I actually found an apk that works for me and its still by urnyx. Apparently he has an updated version which fixes the EIS problem. It's this one: GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v1.5.apk (I cant post links because I'm still a newbie, just search it). So EIS does work, it just depends on the port (and phone? lol), I think. Well that answers my question I guess :laugh:

Working GCam supports Ultrawide and macro lens

Found this one on redmi 9's forum, valla! It works on redmi note 9 and it supports UW and macro. Got it tested quickly, concering the main lens it gives a pretty close results to gcam, almost the same. Ultrawide works flawlessly, it offers much better results than the stock cam. Night sight not efficient. portrait works fine. Front cam gets you better slightly better selfies than stock/gcam. A bit laggy but it's okay
*Note: you can switch to UW with 2X and macro to 0.6X*
Use it with the redmi note 9 config. /storage/emulated/0/trCamera/XMLConfigs/

The situation looks much better I could imagine.
First I tested the gcam good working with redmi 9.
Nikita GCam Port 7.4 from https://www.cyanogenmods.org/google-camera-redmi-9/
It works without problem , makes pictures and records movie.
Next I tested gcam 8.1 recomended for redmi 9 here :
GCam with all 4 camera work
Download and install gcam from below link.. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qQhQoMGMW2FX8a9gUxj2DYI4NeEx1l-K/view?usp=sharing Press on red circle button and observe if your camera change or not..if not then follow bellow instructions...

Yes, it is better. I never heard about stock camera app which is better.

Hello, does anyone else experience the lag in photo mode? Does anyone know how to fix it

Installed it in poco m4 Pro. It is working but feels janky. Too many frame drops as well. But it's working.

M4 pro uses Mediatek Helio G96. It can be in it. But 5g version should be much faster.

I'm using the SNAP version (but Google Should also work fine)
I had to modify a few fields in the Developer Settings to have "everything" (that I tested) work.
Will upload the XML later (with just these modifications, no color or noise things done)
But if you want to try right now you should apply these changes in the developer settings.
Untick :

-> This is for video recording and if i remember correctly timelapse / slowmotion
Untick :
camera.cuttle.glpreview
zsl_ns
-> This is for night mode crashes

Could you check if time lapse works on your phone? I've just tried it on mine and it doesn't, the rest seems to work OK

I asked how to have the timelapse for Redmi note 10 5G device but it seems that it cannot pass on our device. I searched and I found a paid app on play store which does intervalometer and in addition takes control of GCAM ;-) it costs a little more than 1€ and I no longer worry about finding a solution. (it works perfectly for all gcam modes).

I'm just waiting to have no more cloud in France to test outside and especially for the stars ;-)

Are you talking about Astrophotography timelapse ? or just video timelapse ?
If I remember correctly there is a GCAM with a feature that makes a timelapse when you shoot an astrophoto, but I never could make it work.
But normal timelapse works fine on MTSL

I've just reinstalled it and it seems to work now. I don't know what I was doing wrong last time.

Timelapse on astrophotography. Not on video. It takes the number of photos I want with the interval I want.

can we record 1080 60fps with this?

Just purchased 2 Redmi Note 10 5G Dual SIM Graphite Gray 6GB RAM 128GB Global - will need to do some adjustments once i receive them like a GCAM and wot not. I know it's coming with Android 11, NFC and all. hope the fone is decent enough.quick question why is it that poco m3/redmi 10 r on the same thread? r they EXACT replica of one another? i hope we do have ROMs for the Redmi 10 though. coming from moto forums where I've been using my Moto G5S Plus for the last 5+ yrs. now finally no more ROM for it (last 1 being Android 10)

Connect to gcam telegram group, and try version u prefere. 8.1.1 GSM should work fine on your device

Is there a Gcam for LineageOS 19.x GSI?

Google Camera 8.1 for Redmi Note 9

Hello guys, today I bring you the latest version of Gcam for Redmi Note 9. Although MediaTek Helio G85 isn't the best processor to run Gcam, I could find a version created by BSG that works very well. All three back lenses are working fine, you can make a different config for each lens.
Working: Portrait Mode, Panorama, Photosphere, Night Mode, Slow Motion, HDR+ and all lenses.
Not working: Astrophotography (doesn't crash, but the picture is terrible) and Time Lapse.
