EMUI 11 and google services - Huawei P40 Pro+ Questions & Answers

Hello there,
I wanna ask if I can upgrade my Googled P40 Pro+ to the new update EMUI 11 without loosing google services. Cause similar small EMUI 10 updates could be done in this case but this one is a bit bigger update.
Please give me some answers cause I don't wanna reset my phone after this update

Already figured out how to.
I simply used the rollback package provided by Huawei.

P20 Pro rollback?

I updated my C782 to 9.0.0.282 and as it's not officially released by Huawei, SafetyNet has failed and my apps are no longer updating in the play store, Google Pay is also not working.
Can I roll back to Oreo using CLT-L09C782B159 (8.1.0.159) and then upgrade it back to .255?
I don't particularly want to brick it by trying to go straight back to .255 from .282.
Use Hisuite's system recovery.

Question Laggy scrolling after upgraded to MIUI13 today!

Hey guys,
Anyone facing laggy scrolling after MIUI13 update? Today, I received the notification to update and I did and after this I noticed that scrolling through web pages and Facebook is kind of laggy. I didn't face this issue when I was on MIUI12 until this evening and it was pretty smooth. But after updating, it's very annoying!
Btw, I'm always on 90Hz Refresh Rate but tried 60Hz too but that's obviously laggy as well.
If anyone know about it or any way to fix this, please let me know!
Here is the video recording:
Thank you!
90 hz cause a lot of lags. facebook with browser lag as usual. try facebook lite from play store
Same thing with me.
Is there any way to downgrade to 12.5. via MiFlash?
Or will we have problems due to anti-rollback policy?
If someone could make a guide on how to rollback, please help us.
Thank you very much!

You can flash the fastboot rom if I remember correctly. I've done it without any issues.

Question No network on developer preview 1 and 2

Hey after flashing Developer Preview one I got no network connection.
My device is a Chinese version with global Rom.
NE2215
I also tried flashing the Chinese version and the EU version and it didn't work either.
Any ideas?
All the settings in the connection options are greyed out. I cant set the APN manually. Everything is greyed out.
you probably lost your imei. sorry to say, but you likely have a very expensive brick on your hands.
Got similar problem on 1+. The imei is available but both sim cards do not find network. It occures not only on developer preview but on all ROMs

You mean to say, it can't be fixed!!!!
I was contemplating installing the dev preview, but couldn't find time.

if you lost the imei, then no you can't fix it unless you previously made a back up. go into settings and checkk if it's still there or unavailable
My problem is only happening in developer Previews of android 13
After I reverted back to android 12, everything works again. Dunno what it is. I did a log the last time. Maybe that will help someone.
I can active the sim with entering the sim pin. The sim tries to activate, but it always aborts. So the sign for the not entered sim in status bar is disappears and comes back again. Same with the options in network settings. They randomly grey out and come back again.
I got a Chinese version flashed du NE2215. So I got NE2210 hardware with NE2215 Rom. Maybe this causes my problem. Cant either flash NE2210 or NE2215 developer preview. Both have the same problem.

The question is not why I do such "experiments". The question is, why it doesn't work.
If I would like to wait for final release, I would not be in this forum.

As I said, with stable build everything is fine (expect battery drain. ). Only the dev build I can't get to work. Let's see... Maybe the logs will help finding the problem

Nope, you just can update via local update. A nice how to is on the OnePlus forums. There are also all downloads you need

Yeah, because you have a higher version of Android 12. You have to downgrade first with the android 12 package.

Did not have any problems with locked bootloader. For me it worked.
Dunno what this guy flashed
All in all you do this at your own risk. No one guarantees you anything
And read the post. It has nothing to do with locked bootloader. This is when guys flash without knowledge

It's a bug in Android 13. I did all the tests, even the hard reset, nothing to do. I also tried to change mobile operator sim.
I asked Asus support, but they didn't give any answer.
Downgraded to Android 12 and that's the only way it works.
