I plan on upgrading to the Note 4 from my SGH-T889 on the Magenta Network (T-Mobile) but im stuck on which variant to get. All U.S. models are Snapdragon while others regions are Exynos. Im wondering if I should get T-Mobiles (Snapdragon) or International (Exynos)

Its 8 cores, runs in 32bit mode but is 64 bit. It is built on a 20 process. It has better battery due to big.LITTLE configuration.

I don't know too much about this chipset.
According to various(that I have seen) benchmarks the Exynos configuration outperforms the Snapdragon in everyway. But I hear that there isn't much [custom rom support] for the Exynos chips. Im also considering the fact the Note 4 might be considered in the lineup of getting Android L which is a 64 bit Operation.
Tell me what your plan and reason of choice.

Get the 805. Its faster and hasore development support. The exynos ones usually don't get ROMs and kernels for months. Oh, and the battery is usually slightly better.
I still haven't figured out whether the Exynos version will work on Tmo and give me fast internet speeds. I am currently using the Exynos Note 3 on AT&T and am stuck with their H/H+ Internet. It's not slow by any means, but having LTE would be a bonus. I'm unfamiliar with Tmobile's non-LTE speeds since I haven't switched to their network yet.
T-Mobile 4g LTE speeds I think is 11.2 Mbps, which is still faster than AT&T
If you go international then your going to suffer on connectivity with the tmobile network.
Tmobile just bought up new frequencies that will allow for great building penetration and more high speed lte for cheaper and even in rural areas...the tmobile(and prob even at&t) note 4 is one of the only phones so far that can take advantage of these new frequency bands.
Also tons of amazing developers have tmobile and tend to stick with it....
I doubt much of the 64 system features will even be exploited right off the bat with android L considering hardly any phones even run 64... once it's more widespread then you'll see system updates that really utilize the system.... guessing that's a couple years out though
Doesn't the international version have the same antenna bands as the US meaning that it will get LTE.

The HSPA or whatever, that one is like 12mbps. But LTE in my experience is 30mbps. That was a year ago in a small town, I'm sure it's at least as fast if not faster in this slightly bigger cityish area.
But I'm wondering the same thing as the OP: will the factory unlocked international model support all the same bands on the Tmo network as the Tmo model?
From what i gather tmobile uses 1700/2100 MHz AWS for LTE
The Exynos version doesnt have the 1700 band, so i guess no LTE?
Debating what version to get and i want FULL LTE in USA and maybe Japan.

Only the SD 810 will most probably be more powerful than Exynos 5433 due to 14nm build which would result lower power consumption and higher clocks. Plus the more powerful Adreno 430.
I remember discussing the possibility of the Note 4 may get SD810 variant before it was available to buy, but the idea was dismissed by others

This will probably go the same route as the Galaxy S5 Snapdragon 805, Galaxy S4 LTE-A Snapdragon 800 etc... And be launched in a few countries if not just South Korea.
People who think this will replace the 805 model need to be logical, the 805 Note 4 is by far the most popular in terms of units as it covers the USA, Western Europe and parts of Asia and Africa, so it would cost Samsung a lot, having to recreate a 810 variant for those countries.
This will have limited availability, and when will it be launched? After the S6 probably? Lets get real here.

That's a common thing in Korea as most Koreans can enjoy faster download speed due to consistent upgrades in which forces the manufacturer and carriers to upgrade in order to take advantage on increasing download speeds and processor clock speeds and this trend started when LTE-A was launched there and only Snaprdragon 800 can utilise the technology due to its new modem and the result it was the Galaxy S4 LTE-A(SHV-E330S/K/L) until Galaxy S5 LTE-A(SM-G906S/K/L with Snapdragon 805) was released due to another LTE speed upgrade and i will not be surprised if that happens again.

I have a Note 9 on order from Rogers (Canada), but am interested in the dual-SIM, International Exynos version from eBay. Anyone know if the Exynos version supports Google Pay (one of the ads stated it didn't) or if there are other issues to consider when picking up an international, Exynos edition?
The key motivator for me is the dual-SIM. An unlocked bootloader would be good to have, but not necessary for my needs. Would the dual-SIM Snapdragon version offer any advantages?

Can anyone please tell me about the practical consequences involved here?
My friend insists that the iPhone is better for travel because of the compatible bands.
And, doesn't the S21U just have a newer version of the same modem that's inside the iPhone 12PM? Shouldn't this mean that they cover nearly all the same bands?
I hate that Samsung doesn't seem to have an official page with their bands listed, like they should!
So I got a s21 ultra imported from Canada for the Snapdragon processor - it has a few issues , eg it has Canadian Samsung pay which means I can't get the samsung card and the health app is Canadian and won't sync with my UK watches metrics for blood pressure etc because they are FDA cleared in Canada, but the one issue that seems to bug me the most is that the 5g and 4g bands in Canada are different to the UK, so the outdoor speed/signal is significantly worse than it was on my old OnePlus 6T - does anyone know if there are any solutions to this?
You could use ODIN to flash the U1 series software on (US Carrier unlocked); that would help for 4G possible but 5G, you are SOL (until Samsung makes a phone with all the 5G frequencies.. s22 ultra I hope).
I have the W series here in Canada but run the U (Carrier) sometimes and the U1 (Unlocked) 99% of the time.
