Bootloop - Your Device is Corrupt - Sony Xperia 1 II Questions & Answers

Yesterday I flash SEA firmwear to Xperia 1 ii via Flasher which result to constant boot loop with error message "Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot"
I have attempted to repair the phone via Xperia Companion, however the repair stopped midway due to not enough battery. Due to constant reboot, I doubt my phone is even charging.
I have also attempted to repair via flashtool by flash the software again, however error message show when it begin "warn unit 1002 does not exist"
Any suggestion on how can either charging my phone or other method to resolve this issue?

Connect the phone to the computer while holding down the volume up or down to enter adb or fastboot and this will let you charge your xperia

Thanks
Managed to charged my phone and restore via Xperia companion. Funny thing is my software is still HK rather than SEA...

Z3C not booting - bad flash

While using Flashtool to flash a stock FTF to my device, the USB cable accidentally came out and when I boot the device now, it tells me "The software update failed, Make sure that your phone is connected to the computer and try again.
I can't seem to access flashmode anymore but I can access fastboot.
What steps can I take to get back into flashmode so that I can reflash the device?
EDIT: I do not have an unlocked bootloader, the vibrating motor stopped working on the device so it needs to be sent in for warranty repairs
I charged the phone for an hour and was able to enter flashmode.
From there, I was able to use PC Companion to repair the phone and reflash it. All is well now

Phone bricked, please help.

I tried researching for information on this but wasn't able to resolve it. Basically, i have the same problem as here; Flashed a ROM, but after flashing it I found out I did it for the wrong model (5833 instead of 5803). When flashing the rom I wiped Dalvik, Cache, Data and System, and now I'm stuck at the Sony startup screen. It won't let me go into recovery mode.
I too tried to flash stock using flashtools, but it tells me "INFO - Device Status: NOT FOUND". I tried using the Sony PC companion restore function but I get the same problem, telling me there's no phone/device connected.
EDIT: I tried following the steps from this post, but I'm still stuck at the Sony loading screen.
Is there anything to do?
Have you tried the following with the sony companion?
Shut down the phone completely by pressing power and vol+ until the red led lights up and it vibrates a few times.
Now without connecting the phone you go to pc companion, update > repair my phone > select the model > check the boxes and go forward in the menue until it promts you to connect the phone. Your internet connection of your pc should be working for this.
Make sure you have the original cable or another high quality cable, blow into the micro sd slot on the phone in case there is some dirt in it. Might also check it with a light for some foreign partikels stuck in there.
Oke, assuming there is no actual crap in the micro sd slot, when pc companion prompts you to conntect the phone you do as it says, you press vol- and connect the phone to the pc at the same time.
The process takes a very long time so be patient or do something else while its repairing. If its not working try one more time.
If its still not working try to get it shipped in for sony warranty repair by calling the hotline and lying about your abuse of the phone and just say it suddenly stopped working.
Other options are to pay for repair at a phone repair shop or sell the brick.

First see if fastboot devices command gives your phone serial no. or not. If yes then it's a good news, flash recovery again, boot into recovery, flash rom and boot system.
If not, you may need to update your device driver in PC.
First possibility: your fastboot driver in pc needs to be updated.
2nd possibility: Some phones have EDL mode (emergency download) , google if your phone has it. Then you can probably use some tool to restore your phone from this mode.

E6533 Unable to flash device (no flashmode, only fastboot)

Hi,
I faced with a problem what I never seen before:
The device works normally, its on 28.0.A.7.24. I tried to update with PC Companion, it recognized the device as E6533, and offered new software.
Once process started, it downloaded, then phones rebooted instead goes to flash mode. After it (until next reboot), phone completely gone mad:
overheated, not asked for pin code, also IMEI was not available etc.
I tried with Flashtool too, but holding VolumeDown not works. It close to immediatelly drops the boot screen, and never enter flashmode.
Had anyone meet with this issue? How could I fix it?
Fastboot mode is working fine by holding VolumeUp, but flashmode not.
Thanks for help,
Your driver usb may be update,,new pc/laptop come with usb 3

HELP: Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)

HI, I need help fixing my Z3 Compact (D5803).
-My phone had Android 4.4.4, had Root and had firmware 23.4.A.1.200 I believe. (some pre-rooted firmware)
-I flashed that firmware onto my phone a long time ago and its been running great ever since.
-Today I decided to try more flashing, I rushed it and accidentally flashed firmware for the Z3, not Z3 Compact, plus I forgot to turn on USB Debugging!!!!
-It pretty much failed flashing, tried to turn on my phone and I get the update failed screen.
-I researched it, looked into repairing it through PC Companion, but decided to try flashing again and still not seeing that I had the wrong firmware.
-It seemed to have flashed some of the way but had errors and stopped flashing, I tried turning on my phone but now I get nothing.
-No LED, no vibration, no Charge LED, no Update failed screen, no Sony logo, no nothing.
-The only thing I get is when I plug USB into my PC then into phone, it takes 10 seconds, then I get sound on PC and a notification saying (Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) but still no LED light on my phone or vibration.
-I tried uninstalling the driver, I tried different button reset ideas, even tried the little yellow button next to the SIM card.
-I tried repairing it with PC Companion but it cant do that because it wont recognize it or respond to the (hold vol down then plug in USB).
-Didnt bother try fixing it with flash tool because I knew I'd have the same results as I did with PC Companion ^^^^^^^^
-I read some people say that the USB error can be a Hardware issue but I dont think it is because my phone worked fine before all this. (Unless the USB cable fried my phone some how???? lol
-I did make a backup before I did the flashing which I put on my micro SD card, and I had that out when I tried flashing so it should be safe
I think thats it. If theres any thing else that comes to mind that might help I'll add it in when I can.
Any help would be appreciated thanks!
Force install drivers using the "Have disk" option through the device manager control panel.
If the firmware that controls the USB interface and bootloader are corrupted, it's possible that it's hard bricked and needs to be recovered using JTAG.
I've had bricked phones due to hardware failures that caused the same error.

Thanks for the reply.
My phone wont show up on the pc anymore. wont show unknown device in device manager neither.
When I first plug it in the LED shows red for a little then goes away, so I think the battery is dead, i charged it but still nothing shows up on the pc.
I would like to try and recover it using JTAG. I know how to open up the phone and all, but I dont know how to JTAG.
Could you give me some video tutorials or step by step instruction on how to do it for my phone? Also what JTAG hardware and software do I need?
thanks :]

HELP OTA update bricked my phone!

I bought my XZ1 Compact 5hrs ago and got notified of an update. I put it to install and after installing the phone restarted itself, however I got error message "your device has failed verification and will not work. Your device will be powered off after 5 seconds." And it dies. Same message and power off everytime I try to power it on.
Please HELP!
Try Software Repair with Sony PC Companion program
It's not bricked, as it's turning on and you're getting a message.
As above, start PC Companion, although now it's called 'Xperia companion', follow instruction on repair..
