I have a Mate 40 RS imported from Mainland China.
Here I miss the app for temperature measurement. What is it called in the AppGallery? Where can I find it?

hi, very strange, may be you disabled it in preferenses accidentally? you can try attached apk from my 40 RS

The app doesn't work properly.
If I tap on calibrate, nothing happens.
and does it measure without calibration?
No. The measure button is greyed out
Edit: I have the model: NOP-AN00
hmm... in my phone it is a system app, maybe it is malfunction because of installation as user app... and we can not mark it as system without root I think... try to hardreset your phone or... are you sure your phone has thermosensor? there are mate 40 rs without thermosensor
After a factory there is also no app.

I own NOP-AN00 too... but may be they all have the same model name, no matter with thermosensor or without... do you have a little metall dot under the flashlight on the back?

Yes.
But no problem. That was not the main reason to buy the phone.
I also thought when buying the phone, whether to overpay for a thermosensor, use it a little, a couple of days to play with that feature, and now no longer needed ))

Upon further inspection it works on every phone on every operating system
It's a really hilarious* video showing someone running an app on an iphone which he has physically placed on top of a PPC.

It will run on my Tilt, as long as it is on my desk. But will not run on my Tilt if it is in the charging dock. Any ideas ?

What is Shady Apps..?
If i watch video, it's auto rotate to landscape mode, but when view photo it's not work..
And my accelerometer is not work too, I can't use compass, navigation, and game like NFS.. ("_ _)

It looks to me like you have installed an app that has a trial period on it so you can try it before you buy it. If that is the case then you will now have to buy the app.
By shady apps he means have you installed any paid for apps by not paying for them. If you have (And this kind of problem comes from that) then please take your issue somewhere else other than XDA.
If not, I would suggest you try a repair of your software

Sony would never charge you for rotating your device,
I reccmond using Pc Companion to restore your phone.

Any tips on how to fix this ? Im afraid it will break further and maybe fall apart etc. Any experiances ? Would appreciate !

The edge under the power button looks pretty rough also.
The One mini M4 suffered from this and has cracks all along the outside plastic band.

Thank you mate I know that problem. I've had like four or five Mini's and they all had the exact same issue and got replaced over and over again until I decided to give it away and upgrade to the bigger sibbling.
I stil have no clue how to repair this frame.. A friend has had the same problem and his powerbutton broke. And without this button the phone is kind of useless..

I think the phone is in Egypt variant since it says carrier ID is Egypt?
For the Recovery mode I had these;
So as you see, I tried many things to fix this without sending it to SC since I live in North Cyprus. I'm pretty sure that it is not hardware related but more likely a software stuff. Any ideas to fix this? Thanks.

No one has any idea about how to fix this instead of sending phone to Samsung Care? Like draining the battery completely etc? Or possible software conflicts? Since I have updated to bootlader 6, I cannot go back to 5 either.

Recently I had been wondering to the about the water resistant capacity of this phone. So was checking out the externals.....I noticed this small cut on the right edge of the camera bump. Not sure if this is normal (in every handset) or just in mine. Anyone has any info on this??

I got in touch with the customer care after this thru insta, they have confirmed it to be part of phone design....
Dipping the camera module even slightly under water is not an option it seems.
Even I was concerned when I saw it but its a part of the design. NOt sure what purpose it serves.
It's a mic, quite a few of the newer phones with the big camera bums have this also.
