M31 recovery mode - Samsung Galaxy M31 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I recently updated my M31 and wanted to clear cache, but I'm not able to access recovery mode.
I tried (vol up+power) and released power while holding vol up when samsung + android logo appears but after some second phone vibrates and shows a samsung only logo and it starts.
What am I doing wrong, I tried enabling the OEM unlocking option from developer option but still no luck.
My samsung m31 is in stock (one ui 3.0/android 11) & not rooted.

Hi
Connect your phone to a computer then try to reboot it with key vol down +power pressed for 10 seconds, when the screen goes out, revert to volume up key+ power, release the power key when the samsung logo appears but maintain the vol up key pressed until the recovery pops up.

[Q] Recovery & Download Button Combo?

I did a search but couldn't find anything. Are there any button combos to boot into download mode or recovery mode or is ADB my only option?. I tried what worked on the GS2 but not luck.
Depending on the rom, it should be volume down + power. Hold both until the samsung logo flashes then comes back the 2nd time and let go of power, keep holding volume down and it should boot into recovery. You can also try alternating with volume up + home button + power, same method as above.

Bootanimation loop

Hello everyone.
I got a new Galaxy Ace S5830i today.
I rooted it and installed CWM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552792).
After that I did install Retribution beta 4 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1806471).
Then after rebooting I ended up getting a boot animation loop and neither the recovery mode would work nor the download mode.
Could anyone of you please help me? I feel very uncomfortable with a brick in my pocket. :x
I'd be surprised if neither were working, particularly if you are getting as far as the boot animation.
To clarify, to enter recovery mode: Switch off your phone (pull out the battery and re-insert if its looping and the power button won't work), hold down power button AND home/rectangular button AND volume up button. When you see the Samsumg GT-S5830i logo, let go of the power button but continue to hold down the home and volume up buttons for around 5 seconds then let go of everything. Recovery console should appear on screen.
To enter download mode: Switch off your phone, hold down power button AND volume up button AND volume down button. Warning about custom OS's should appear, followed by download mode after pressing volume up again. If this doesn't work try taking out battery, sim card and SD card, connecting USB lead (screen will be completely powered off) and then trying the key combination.

[Q] Stuck on 'Warning bootloader unlocked' screen

Hi everyone! Could I have bricked my Razr I? I was on 4.0.4 GB, then flashed the Motorola JB 4.1.2 EU vith RSDlite which was booting in fine. Made a backup from recovery as well. After that I have installed this zip: [ROM][MOD] Motorola RAZR i - One V.1.3.1 [JB EU 4.1.2] and rebooted. Still working fine. But wanted to clean it again, so I have booted into recovery and made a wipe of data/cache which did not finish for minutes. I have switched off from recovery and cannot switch back again. It stops on the 'Warning bootloader unlocked' screen whichever key combination I start with (power + vol down does the same) does not boot into rom or fastboot either. After a while the screen switches off and the green led stays on only, which can be switched off with the power+vol down. If I push the power again the warning sreen comes and stayes again. What can I do you think? Please help! :crying:
Tried all the key combinations, timings, but there is only 3 states coming up: 'Warning bootloader unlocked' screen / black screen with continuous green led / completely off. PC and RSD Lite 6.1.5 (with correct drivers and tested before) does not react to connection is any state.
Enter in fastboot and try installing again from RSD Lite
Thank you for the reaction, but that is my problem. If I am holding PWR and vol down the warning screen comes up, releasing the PWR and the warning screen stayes.
If I keep holding the PWR with the vol down, first there is the warning screen, then there is blank screen with continous green led, which just stayes.
Same thing if press vol up+ vol down + power. Releasing the PWR just makes the warning screen stay.
Is it possible that the fastboot mode is broken? (I did nor downgrade). I am very desperate now
Turn off the computer, wait 10 seconds, then hold L + Volume Down Power when Power vibrate loose, if not enter fastboot repeats the combination of buttons without switching off the mobile.
still no luck with holding vol down + power. If I release the power after the vibration (and keep pressing vol down) it stays on the warning screen. If I continue holding both it goes to a blank screen with the led shining green.

release power as soon as you see the green led after reboot! not after vibration, this can be to late...
hi, just to update this issue has been solved by changing the motherboard (from a razr i with broken screen)

SM-T810 stuck in boot loop, unable to enter in recovery or fast boot

After I tried to backup the device with TWRM, I am now stuck on the boot screen with "samsung galaxy tab s2, powered by android" screen.
I am unable to do anything: turn it off, power + volume up + home or power + volume down + home" nothing actually do anything.
The only think that change something is it to wait battery run out of energy, then the screen turn black but as soon as I plug the charger the same screen "samsung galaxy tab s2, powered by android" come again, I didn't even pushed the power button.
The device was rooted long time ago and was still with the original rom (5.0.1 or 5.1.1 I believe, i am unable to verify).
Any help is welcome!
bump,
I tried removing the back cover, now I can reboot the device more easily just removing the battery connector, before I had to wait the battery run out of power.
I trying the boot the device with the "volume up + home + power botton" pressed.
But still no luck.
Is there a way to boot an alternate rom on the device ?
it turn out that removing the back panel actually disable power or volumes buttons, so putting back the backpanel let the "power + volume down" reboot works, then shortly after doing "volume up + power + home" button let me enter odin mode, now I need a stock rom...
i recovered the device, i just had to install old version of twrp new version did brick the device

Try connecting it to its type C cable either on charge or connected to PC, before doing the hard reset process.
Press power + volume up + volume - to force restart.
When it's restarting, just before Samsung Logo pops up, release volume - and keep holding power and volume + to go into recovery mode.
