I don't know why no body is talking on this , but the Exynos version of s21 ultra does not have an option to play at 90hz .
Also , we cannot play at uhd resolution and HDR is just limited to 40 fps ..
Where as on sd888 you can do it all .

The device barely handle 60fps.
My assumption it's not ready for 90 or uhd which fine by me, i never cared how much fps I'm running...i keep losing .
But you shouldn't have opt for the E2100 if you are interested in gaming tbh.

I have not bought the device yet , my region offer Exynos only ,
I am confused between this Exynos variant and OnePlus 9 pro .
I am getting both of them at a similar price , actually OnePlus doesn't deserve that price due to its poor software management and bugs and a relatively new company

After disabling the Samsung game optimizing service it easily handles 60 fps though... And it actually can run 90fps given how it runs LOL at 120 fps steadily..... It won't have a problem running smooth 90fps other than heating.

There's a lot of videos on YouTube regarding the process one from The Golden Reviewer as well.... You can do that through your pc's cmd prompt for free or purchase the package disabler pro on your phone through their website to make it easier.

Yes it indeed makes it better because it doesn't let samsung throttle its performance as low as it does normally. Everyone testing it on exynos version has appreciated the difference.

Disabling the game optimization is what I was talking about... As for tweaking the game booster and plugins ... It doesn't help much after a certain point.

So i have note 8 (exynos) ,one of the most updated internals are there in it.
But in pubg the option of hdr is yet not available also the option of high & Extreme in fps is not available.
Where as it is available in othet phones .
Its not that there is problem in game before the latest update (0.7) i use to havr thoes option , i did enable with some app called hd graphics tool as it was not available back then. That app is not updated for the latest for the new update so .
But the question is why it is not available inbulit for phone such as note 8 which has everything that it requires to run on high settings .
If any one has any solution or know someone from Pubg then kindly forward or reply.

I can't say for sure, but it sounds like something to do with the way the PUBG app is coded. I don't know that it's a Note 8 problem, it sounds like a PUBG issue. I would email their development team with the question.

A lower resolution would provide higher FPS. Otherwise I don't think there's much we can do if the app developer changed things in the app itself...email them and hopefully they will fix it.

I did & the response was very typically given so ?
Note 8 hdr mode plus ultra frame rate

The snapdragon 945 GPU is around 35% faster in fortnite (and most GPU tasks), so no surprise here. Comparing to the iphone xs is pointless tho as the GPU in the A12 is faster sustained vs the benchmark PEAK performance in sd855 (yep, not a type - sd855, so you can guess where this puts the sd845, especially sustained).

No iPhone have 120hz refresh rate, only their iPads. If you want that Razer 2 offers that.

Well it plays pretty amazing! Some stutter at high graphics setting so had to turn down to low graphics and keep the 60fps.
Quite incredible actually! Huge advantage against 30fps players. Got 14 eliminations easily in team rumble.

Yeah, the difference between 30 and 60fps for a first person shooter is quite big. Sadly not only the exynos note 9 doesn't support 60fps, but it also on the last versions is locked to maximum high GFX (EPIC is grayed out). So samsung thinks it's fair to sell you for more money a phone that has the same name, but can go maximum to high 30fps (it's also not smooth on that settings) while the other one go epic 60fps? Ok

Yep, on the iphones it's just the digitizer that goes to 120Hz vs the regular 60Hz touch reading. This actually is awesome and really great in both UI and gaming, the touch latency is quite a lot lower + it tracks you better/faster/accurate.
Last Brawl Stars update enabled 120hz gameplay on the ROG Phone 2, but it seems I have a 60 fps cap, as if I was playing with any other phone. I have the Tencent version, and yes, I made sure I had my refresh rate on 120hz and everything. Will updating my phone solve the issue? What do you think? The version I'm running is 1908.12, thanks for your help.

I have the tencent version with 1910.35 WW rom. I read about the specific update to give support for ROG phones and was super excited even before buying the phone as this is my favorite game, but as you say, it just goes at 60 fps and nothing more. I have been searching if there is actually any real support for 120hz or even 90hz, but found not real proof of the game going over 60fps. Please let us know if any of you have more information about this.

Yes, I converted it to WW. Can you play other games at 90 or 120 fps? The funny thing is that even fallout shelter (a 2015 game or so) goes sooo smooth when switching to 120hz; even when game genie tells it has only 60fps, I believe that number is wrong as I can definitely tell a huge difference when using the highest refresh rate. However, this does not happen with brawl stars.

Yes, I've tried other games and they work at 120hz with no problem. It's really weird. I asked some guy on reddit who claimed he had a ROG and was playing at 120hz, and he told me he didn't have the Tencent version, so maybe this particular version is not unlocked, I don't know how.
Anyone managed to enable 90Hz on pubg
the phone doesn't support 90hz by default, there is a dev in the apps and themes section with an app that says it can give us 90, I've not tried it. it's a trial app
PubG doesn't even run at 90hz on the PC. Why do you all think it works on a smartphone?

maybe he wants the extra edge a smoother frame rate gives you in a game, maximum frame rate in PubG mobile is 90hz, so 60 and 120 are a bit useless if you want to be a god of murdering
I have similar problem with Need For Speed - No Limits on my s20fe 5g Snapdragon.
The game stuck at 30 fps, it doesn't go higher. But on my redmi k40 pro it does run at higher fps.

Yes, the game lags when I play the game for just 5 mins. Performance is very bad with the snapdragon 888 processor.

Yeah that's the issue. The phone has a 120hz screen and 888processor... It's supposed to have the 120hz option.

It's not the processor, it's the phone. Because I have an rog 5 and a legion and it both runs at 120fps Witt no lag.
