Unable to restore a backup through TWRP

Hello,
this afternoon I was trying to install SailfishOS as described here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/development/sailfish-os-t3204245) but while I was flashing the CM11 base, the recovery rebooted, then I tried to restore my backup and I receive the message "Backup restore failed". I even tried to install a rom from the sd but the recovery gives me errors or reboots. Do you have any idea of how can I solve that? Thanks in advance.
Please moderators, close the thread. The issue has been fixed with flashing a new zip recovery through fastboot.

after it i tried to flash TWRP recovery. but i cant reach their..
the only things i see after rebooting to recovery is black screen white LED
Recovery does not match the formatting of your data partition. Get the correct TWRP or format your data partition correctly.

9.0.3 update with unlocked bootloader

My daughter unwittingly performed an OTA update with an unlocked bootloader and now gets the error "Decryption unsuccessful, the password you entered is correct, but unfortunately your data is corrupt." at startup. Before I wipe the device I'm wondering why when I boot with the stock recovery the password seems to decrypt properly if I use the correct password (no errors but there is no way to mount or backup the data partition) but if if temporarily boot with TWRP via fastboot the password does not seem to decrypt the device (I do receive a password failed error). Any information is appreciated.
In my view, there are some issues with the pie build which detects that the bootloader is unlocked. After this you may see decryption unsuccessful.
When I was on oreo 5.0.8, I had flashed nougat ROMs too by just flashing the nougat fw but now when I was using pie 9.0.2; I tried to flash sultan ROM which resulted in decryption unsuccessful.
In that case, we need to format the phone.

P9 Plus not booting after flashing twrp backup

Hi i have this p9 plus vie-l29, i unlocked the bootloader, installed twrp and root, everything worked perfect until i found a backup online and restore it using twrp. Since then, P9 shows "device has failed verification and may not work properly".
I boot to erecovery, but i got this error: "getting package info failed", I tried to flash again twrp from fastboot and resccue mode, but not working because i did a factory reset and cannot activate usb debugging. It still has stock recovery but I only have 3 options, reboot, clear cache and factory data reset.
Can you give me a solution to this please? If i try dload method from sdcard, should work?
UPDATE: So, I tried dload method, did not worked for me. Now phone is in service center, I hope it can be fixed.
