You'll probably need to root it (if it's even possible) and install it as a system app

Can u elaborate more about your post instead of posting random screenshot?

are you sure it's a random image? The other member didn't know how to put the default dialer, posted the capture showing where he retrieves any default system application.

Missing apps?

So my uncle bought a Xiaomi Mi 3 in Indonesia a few years ago, and he used it for about two years. Recently, he bought a Redmi Note 3 Pro to replace it, and I helped him factory reset from the recovery menu. He took the device home, and is now saying that theres NO internet apps at all: no Google Search, no Mi Browser, no Chrome. And the search widget doesnt work, and neither does the Google Settings app, which is about the only google app, as the Play Store and the rest are missing. What's happened?

factory resetting the miui v5 global rom via recovery deletes all the google related apps.
Download Google Installer App to install all google apps including playstore. Follow the below link to get the "Google Installer App" with the instructions to use it.

Note: your uncle is using miui v5 which is very old version.

Oh ok, thanks. And P.s. he uses MIUI 5 because before resetting, he had no storage space to install MIUI 7.

No notifications from apps oustside Huawei App Store

Hi guys,
So i bought this phone and I use it since one month, and it appears that I have some problems with the notifications.
For example, I use the discord app from aptoide and I can't receive any notification. On my old phone (Pocophone), if I install it from Aptoïde I have no problems. And sometimes I have the notification from Gspace (which have WA and other app) and sometimes no.
Do you have any idea to resolve this ?
Cheers !!
sale problem on discord and microsoft teams sometine notificaiton sometime not
I installed microG and that solved a lot of my notifications abscense/delay.
There are a lot of apps that use push notifications that depends of google services.

yes me too but for microsoft teams microg not the best sometine delays is long or nos notification, like 20% push notif never received and 20% not in time but like 5 or 10 min after and 60% ok
Sometine for discord no push too
But you can install microg on global version? Because as I saw it was not possible

You can install it, but it won't recognize your Google account.
There is a moded version, but the apps don't recognize the account even if it's show on the devices settings.
The phone wouldn't have lasted 2 months of ownership without MicroG, only notifications that I don't get is from Ebay, but I have push notifications on emails so get them that way.
Where I can find a tutorial for installing the microg version?
Regards buddies

Question Anyone knows how to disable AppMarket popup?

I have global version targeted to Thailand - which contains google play services (store etc) and oppo app market.
Whenever I try to open a Google Play web link to some app/game (which supposed to be open immediately by Google Play store) I get this annoying popup:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If I click cancel Im redirected to google play store
I checked the Default Apps, settings of AppMarket...no result....
Anyone knows how to ged rid off this?
Same here, device bought in Vietnam. Stupid behavior!
What browser did you use? Using chrome open up PlayStore as expected. Just tried Firefox, it opened up PlayStore too.

If you have asian global version youll get this popup. If you have EU global version then you dont have appmarket at all - just google play.

Mine came with appmarket, but somehow it doesn't trigger the appmarket.

My P30 Pro won't detect Google Contacts app that I would like to be default

Hello there! New to this forum! So, here's the thing - I live in Europe, Poland, and about 2 or so years ago, I have bought a P30 Pro phone from one of our local stores - I highly doubt that it is a Chinese version of the device, but I might be wrong. Either way, I have recently installed Google Contacts app from Play Store, as I have wanted to make it a default on my device - I am wanting to use it with cooperation with the official People app from Microsoft on my Windows 10 PC, so that I can easily message my family or friends from my computer - But since to do that I would need to have Google's app manage my contacts, rather than the preinstalled dialer on my phone, I decided I would be willing to adapt and change my habits over to the new app. All would be nice and easy, if my phone actually detected Google's app I have installed and let me change it to default contacts app in settings, which it doesn't. Any idea why that might be happening?

Thank you, that worked. I was kinda surprised that it needed to be the Google's dialer app but glad it worked.
