Question Anyone knows how to disable AppMarket popup? - OPPO Find X3 Pro

I have global version targeted to Thailand - which contains google play services (store etc) and oppo app market.
Whenever I try to open a Google Play web link to some app/game (which supposed to be open immediately by Google Play store) I get this annoying popup:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If I click cancel Im redirected to google play store
I checked the Default Apps, settings of AppMarket...no result....
Anyone knows how to ged rid off this?

Same here, device bought in Vietnam. Stupid behavior!

What browser did you use? Using chrome open up PlayStore as expected. Just tried Firefox, it opened up PlayStore too.

If you have asian global version youll get this popup. If you have EU global version then you dont have appmarket at all - just google play.

Mine came with appmarket, but somehow it doesn't trigger the appmarket.

Self updating apps

Has anyone else noticed their apps updating themselves without the use of the play store? I swear today I saw Facebook and Google play music do it.

they only update if you have the auto update option enabled in the play store. otherwise they do not auto update.
I must have slept too long then and not noticed the new features in GPM. Unless they were features already implemented but not enabled until Google decided to do so. I don't remember tapping search ever opened up a small search box, it was always it took me to a different screen.

I used to get something like that third picture
And now I get this little search box, and the play store doesn't show that it was recently updated.

It's pretty standard for google to implement features weeks or months in advance to "rolling them out" and usually it depends on Google Play Services which auto updates regardless of settings. wouldn't surprise me if Facebook used similar rollout methods

SuperSU REMOVED from Google Play Store

....not like I've been using it since Chainfire departed v2.79, but I noticed that the official Google Play Store link is now dead:

From SuperSU Pro in Play Store:
"!!! This is a license file for SuperSU. This is NOT a stand-alone app. You need SuperSU already installed. Reboot after installation !!!"
The SuperSU homepage still links to the app's Play Store Brocken page @ the present. Same for their Download page.
It's still available on APKMirror.

You'll probably need to root it (if it's even possible) and install it as a system app

Can u elaborate more about your post instead of posting random screenshot?
are you sure it's a random image? The other member didn't know how to put the default dialer, posted the capture showing where he retrieves any default system application.

My P30 Pro won't detect Google Contacts app that I would like to be default

Hello there! New to this forum! So, here's the thing - I live in Europe, Poland, and about 2 or so years ago, I have bought a P30 Pro phone from one of our local stores - I highly doubt that it is a Chinese version of the device, but I might be wrong. Either way, I have recently installed Google Contacts app from Play Store, as I have wanted to make it a default on my device - I am wanting to use it with cooperation with the official People app from Microsoft on my Windows 10 PC, so that I can easily message my family or friends from my computer - But since to do that I would need to have Google's app manage my contacts, rather than the preinstalled dialer on my phone, I decided I would be willing to adapt and change my habits over to the new app. All would be nice and easy, if my phone actually detected Google's app I have installed and let me change it to default contacts app in settings, which it doesn't. Any idea why that might be happening?

Thank you, that worked. I was kinda surprised that it needed to be the Google's dialer app but glad it worked.
