android version 9 one UI 1 I've been trying to change the rom like 3 4 months since i bought it but cant find anyway. Today i was trying to flash latest firmware that came out to germany only but it failed AGAIN lol and then it rebooted to this problem hha i have never seen phone like this. I tried unlocked Odin i tried to flash twrp its oem unlocked usb debugging enabled also i dont know what to do with this phone

Sounds like a flash issue. If it was stock I would simple say factory reset it.
My knowledge of flashing these devices isn't good at all though, sorry.
Hopefully someone with knowledge of this type of issue will be able to help you

WhatsApp media can take an incredible amount of space, and it's forced to internal storage. Give it a try. Something else you can use is X-Plore with the Disk Map functionality, it will give you a Pie Chart with the biggest space consumers.

[Q] Weird error

Hey guys,
I've been online searching for a solution a couple of hours already but i can't find anytbung about my problem...
Here's my problem:
I just bought the samsung galaxy ace and everything works except for one thing. I can't download anything from the internet (I've tried several browsers). The second i try to download something, it says that I need an sd card to download the file. I don't even have an sd card...
With my earlier phones i've never had this problem so i don't know how to fix it... It's just weird to me that i need a sd card to download a file especially because i don't even have one.
I hope someone knows/finds a solution.
Thanks in advance,
Edit:
I've already hard resetted and set the phone to fabric settings a couple of times.

yes brother you should have an sd card cos it is not a advanced phone which offers internal and external storage separately like grand or s4
so please insert an sd card

Does XZ kill SD Cards???

i got the impression that my XZ kills sd cards. does anybody else have that?
it first killed my 32gig sandisk ultra 2 months ago. i thought it was a coincidence and just put in my old 8 gig card(samsung) i had from my old desire hd. and then about a week ago, when i flashed beanstalk i encountered problems for the first time. rom is really laggy, recovery doesn't load, cant open developer options in config menu and so on.
when i click the "storage" button in confg menu, phone freezes. when i pull out the sd card it unfreezes and stops lagging...
without sd everything seems to be back to normal. whats with that????

[Q] Lollipop SD card issue

Hey guys
I realise after upgrading to LP (rooted, BL locked), the SD card will not mount everytime I reboot the phone. If I go to "Storage" and click Mount SD Card, it will say mounting but nothing happens.
The phone knows the card is inside, but it just doesn't mount it. The temporary fix is to eject and reinsert the SD card and all works well.
I tried searching but can't find someone with the same bizarre situation. HELP! thanks!

1. remove sd-card reboot phone and insert it. then reboot to check if it s OK or not.
2. another solution is to format sd-card (thr might be issue with sd-card)
3. Repair xperia firmware by PC Companion (if thr s problem with xperia system)

Hey! I've got the exact same issue. My Z3C is rooted, and I'm running Lollipop 5.0.2. If I reboot my phone, it acts just as if there was no SD-card inserted. And just like you, I cannot manually "mount" it, I need to take it out and then reinsert it again.
And just like you, I have searched the web far and wide for a solution but nothing has helped.

Number 1 doesn't work.
Number 2 doesn't work.
as for number 3, I need to ask a question about this one: if I would use PC Companion to "repair" the firmware, as you suggest; would this really work when the phone is rooted?
I hope there's someone out there who might have an idea about a solution for this..

Yeah Ok, thanks. So that's really not an option then, because I would really like to keep root.
Now, a question for OP:
What firmware, exactly, are you using on your phone? I mean, which version and from where is the FTF-file? I'm wondering if the firmware version and / or region could be the cause of this problem... trying to narrow it down here...
Hello , did you manage to solve this issue please ??? I have the same problem after updting my Z1C to lollipop , I used Generric DE pre-root with dual recover , phone only mounts SD if taken out and reinserted but if reboot it does not show althought I can acces through root browser

Exactly the same issue here. After a reboot, the SD card doesn't show up in Settings->Storage or in MTP sessions (nor - I think - in apps such as Album/Music).
But it is always fully accessible from the file system, e.g. using Root Browser/ES.
The card is correctly recognised when I remove and re-insert it.
It's not a great problem as I try not to reboot my phone very often. For reference I'm using a rooted Russian .726. FW.
Funny how rooted phones are facing this
Sent from my D5833 using XDA Free mobile app
Same issue here, using rooted .28 LL FW.
Peace.

The main problem to me is that i can not use recovery , i changed to italian pre rooted and samevissue as with german
I suggest downgrading to .93 Firmware ( KK ) then flashing Global .28 ( Lollipop ) firmware using Flashtool.
But it's highly unlikely it would be a software problem as most users don't experience this but are also rooted with Locked bootloaders. Maybe its the SD Card?

Samsung micro SDHC evo 32 gb class 10 and SanDisk Ultra micro SDHC 32gb class 10 , the only issue is they do not ppear as mounted nor you can see them on pc unless you take them out and insert again , but both play the music and i can see the pictures on them but as they dissapear when you reboot the phone I can not use recovery , I can even with root browser I can see files on them
Oops forgot to update this thread.
Anyways I gave up looking for solutions until the phone refused to sleep AT ALL. I went ahead and reflashed KitKat and went through the whole procedure again.
The problem magically disappeared and has been fine ever since. Still rooted and lollipop.:good:
Exact same probleme here with my rooted z3 compact .726 and 64GB microSD card.
I replaced by new card, reformat many times, still same situation.
Card is always visible in totalcommander but not in the system.
It happen yesterday when i started the camera app for taking a picture. It worked for many weeks before without problem. Strange! [emoji43]

Insert an SD card before using the Camera

After flashing a CM 13 rom even though my SD card is perfectly alright im receiving this type of error when i open Camera. i cant even click pictures or video. Even when i open Gallery its saying that " SD card is full or No SD card".
Please someone respond and help me, its really pissing me off. :crying:

The message itself sounds sketchy to me. More like a virus message than a proper one advising of a serious problem.
But, if you wipe and restart, do the very basic setup to be able to get onto playstore and download something like disk digger to recover deleted media. The less you do prior to this increases the chance of more successful recoveries

If your phone can't wipe/reset it would suggest ab actual storage issue, eg damage. Can you get it connected to a pc at all to refresh firmware? Eg fastboot/download mode or something?

Where is it saying this?
Pre OS? Whilst in the OS?
Can you get in the phone?
Notes / pictures, have you backed up to the cloud, personally use Google sync to photos and keep for mine, safe as houses, for the most part
If you're unable to boot your phone then recover it using the available methods.
Hisuite
ERecovery if possible
Flash via fastboot if possible using an extracted firmware
*You'd need to flash each partition individually to do this, I wrote a guide on it a while back.
Chances are it'll wipe your data though which is the whole point of a wipe, recovery may just repair the OS.
If the message is within the OS and you're booted then back up then scan for viruses.
Never seen this before, have you modified your device at all? What did you do?
no recovery

i cant get to fast boot, i cant get to recovery
it boots and takes about 5 mins to get to mandarin screen
when translated
it says
EMUI
reboot
recovery
clear cache
safemode
anything i choose it fails
(except reboot, that brings me back to same screen in 5 mins)
It stays on this logo screen for
5 to 7 mins
Then it
Goes to this screen with the mandarin
i dont know solution for recover data, btw maybe flashing will help for this phone ? u dont create any backup on gogle account ? check online on www that u can create one
This really seems like a flash of the wrong software gone wrong. Eg cn version instead of lgrp. If it's just done it after no such thing I'd contact Huawei for repair and make sure they can flash and not replace board etc.
If it is damaged storage then some data loss is quite likely no matter which way you go. If you can't access at least base level functionality you have no real hope of data recovery other than by professional means maybe. As the ic would need to be read directly

Huawei are your best bet ad long as what you're saying is accurate and you were using proper Google software and no rooting and messing about etc. They'll probably just change the board.

what actually happened was that i was using phone clone from this phone to the new mate 20 i have now
so the p20 was on for a while and actually got really hot for some reason , and it was also connected to PC (doing file transfers )
then it started rebooting into this mode

Don't believe so as this shows as a different drive to the phones main storage, so quite possibly a different ic so as to remain intact and untouched during updates etc. Just shows hardware wise the phone is connecting so it is definitely a storage issue.
You may have to ask for someone's assistance with trying a test point recovery if you're technically minded

Connect a cable, boot to fastboot, you should be able to boot to that.
Then flash a firmware, one component at a time
