Hello everyone! so my redmi k20 pro which had a mi9t pro rom on it fell into some water. First it was ok and after a few hours it shuted down and now it stays on fastboot mode all the time.
The problem is that I can't get my 2 computers to recognize the device (tried with adb and xiaomi mi flash tool). Any suggestions before I just throw the phone away?

I managed to flash a stock rom with Mi Flash but the phone keeps going back to fastboot and I also tried to flash twrp but after the flash the phone goes back to fastboot. Any suggestions?

hello everyone, for a couple of days i tried to put twrp on my xiaomi a2 so i can get root on it and custom roms (not now, but afterwards when i eventually get tired of the stock rom) but the only thing i get is a black screen (turned on) and seconds later it turns off. i tried using commands such as
" fastboot flash boot_b TWRP-3.2.3-jasmine-20180804.img "
"fastboot set_active b"
but nothing happens, i cant get into android, so i rebooted and went to "set_active a"...
i dont know what to do anymore im getting desperate, none of my past phones did this to me :crying:
im using android pie and compilation is 10.0.2.0
Try to go to fastboot, then to EDL mode with MI toolkit and then reflash stock

Edl mode? Well, I already flashed the stock rom trough Mi flash program
I tried to flash Miui 9 on my Mi A2 with this install guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/how-to/miui-10-install-guide-t3844729). But when i flashed Miui 9 MiFlash showed me it was succesful, but now I´m stuck at the MI Logo and cant go in fastboot mode. Also i think I can´t go in EDL-Mode because when i try to short the test points nothing happens. So neither MiFlash or Fastboot is recognizing my phone. What can I try?
Hello, My K20 Pro China Rom is broken. I bought the phone on Aliexpress, opened the box and tried to turn on the phone, but it didn't work and it didn't charge. After almost 15 hours and it received power from the charger and I managed to turn it on in recovery mode. I selected wipe data worked for 2 days and went out of the blue. Now it does not turn on only the Redmi logo appears and immediatly shutes down and no longer enters recovery mode. I can only go in fastboot mode but the bootlocker is locked, no usb debugging and no mi account because I had no time to do this. I tried to flash with latest Fastboot China Rom in MIFlash tool but is says "Erase is not allowed in locked state". Can you help me please? Thank you

It sounds like you've been unlucky and got a bust phone. Really it needs to get replaced with a new one. This is the down side to AliExpress, you should get things resolved, but you'll probably need to return it to the seller at your own expense, and it could be weeks before you get a working phone back.
Contact the seller to start the ball rolling.

Suddenly my phone is stuck on mi logo with the android logo on bottom for 2 days now.
I downloaded a frimeware for mi 9 and trying to flash it with mi flash software but its never completed the flashing.. it keeps counting the seconds for 3h and nothing happend.

I tried to flash a new rom but its says the bootloader is locked.
Im afraid that development mode is not turned on so i can even unlock it and the phone is not booting up for it.
There is something eals to do or use it for door holder ? ?

I have an experience like that,
step1: but first try to flash the exact ROM was before this happened. it must be fastboot one. if no success try the next step
step2: if you are lucky and have been Bound mi account in the developer menu you can unlock the bootloader and flash any ROM for your device. if no success try step 3
step3: unfortunately maybe you need to flash ROM via EDL and authorized account.

Yesterday I unlocked my phone with the official Xiaomi unlock tool, Then it wiped everything, after setting my phone up, I flashed TWRP (not for my device but for redmi k20, I thought 9T and K20 is the same) and now I'm stuck on fastboot, I tried power button + volume buttons but still stuck on fastboot, I tried adb but still stuck, I tried Reiboot for Android but still stuck. So I used XiaoMiTool V2 (unofficial) and selected 'my device is bricked' then it asked me to select what device am I using, I selected k20 bc I thought it's the same with redmi power, after downloading a rom for an hour, it tries to install but fails because it detects that it's not k20, so I closed it and rebooted my device, now my device only shows the charging battery icon, can't boot into fastboot, can't boot into anything, PC can't detect my phone including adb. Please help me (for free), I really need your help. Thanks!
Your mistake was booting a wrong twrp and then a wrong fastboot rom. You could have saved your device when it was in fastboot mod by flashing an official fastboot rom for your device. But now your device seems hopeless. I think you have no option but to send it to a service center.
In this Case, buy only from Trusted Places! Or Learn how to Flash properly.
If the bootloader is unlocked...
Flash vbmeta.img
Then flash the suitable recovery for 9 power... It might boot to recovery then
