why do you want to use Mi unlock,?

Well if you can find your device in minimal adb you are good to go, reboot your device into fastboot, run the command "fastboot devices" and check if your device shows

Don't use mi unlock to update your ROM. You need to install TWRP and update it using recovery. Latest updates are all twrp updates, not fastboot.
Do a search on this forum 9r go to the Xiaomi EU forum for info on the update and how 5o install twrp

Help with stock rom P10 Bricked

Hi everybody, i was wondering if you know where i can download stock rom for my P10 cell phone. I tried to put this rom VTR-L09C605B151 to my phone and now it stuck in huawei logo. (this rom is for latin america ,im from Chile Movistar company)
the original version of the rom installed in my phone was the VTR-L09C521B101, if anybody knows where I can download the full firmware please help!!
the phone have only 2 weeks of life.
PD: I justo took it to Service, but they said that this problem is not covered by warranty.
any help would be higly appreciated.
thanks!!!!
How did you flash the firmware?
Flashed with adb. I have extracted the boot sytem and the other file and flashed boot first then the others. I can enter now in bootloader mode.

Right now i don't have the exact names. Let me reach home and I will post.

You can use firmware finder to download ur original firmware and use this tool to flash firmwares since u have unlocked bootloader https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108
I will try that. In case the original rom was not found. How can I proceed?

It's there but not full, maybe rebrand to other region.
thanks for the help. Right now I have sent the phone direct to huawei's service, so I will wait 2 days and see what happened. Stay tuned!
Maybe this will come in handy

Hello, I finally did not fix the phone, because they tell me from huawei that you can not put an official rom, that the only way to fix it is by placing an unofficial rom. I do not know if it will be true or not. The truth is that my phone has become a beautiful paperweight. :crying: Please, I need your help to revive my phone.Do i need to wait until official rom comes out full? And apply adb just as I did before? Extracting the files and uploading them to one ?. Any help is welcome. Thank you all!
I have another question, is there a way to put a full rom but another version with other method?
because before brick my phone I have flashed in this order:
boot.img
recovery.img
system.img
from the VTR-L09C605B151 version.
I dont know what means C605B151, I dont know why it didnt worked, because this rom is for latin american.
or what if I install TWRP then update the rom?
I've just done mine with dc phoenix cost about £35 by the time I sussed it but all working now as I'm typing on it and mine was stuck on boot screen but able to get into fast boot
well, finally im trying to rebrand my phone to VTR-L29 eu version, but Im having problems with bootloader.
Right now my bootloader says relocked and FRP lock. tried with fastboot oem relock and unlock and nothing happens.
what can I do now?
u.u
Hi again, the thing is that my phone shows Phone relocked, but adb shows to me that bootloader is unlocked, if I try to unlock again says remote command not allowed.
Anybody knows why it shows like this?
thanks!!
Finally!!!! my phone was restored and is back!!!
I have used the funkyhuawei rebranding method (since it was impossible to unlock my phone) they have a method that you can rebrand with locked phone. Paid 46 dollars but it was worth!!

It has not written "android one" on back cover, OTA updates fail and I bought it as a mi 6X. The problem is wich this device has bootloader locked, ARB v4, and A2 recovery. Also methods to unlock A2's bootlaoder fail.

Yeah, seems like the same case here in my country, those sellers import the Chinese mi 6x and they install a fake rom in it to make it look like a global version :silly:
No worries though.
First, in order to unlock your bootloader you need to setup mi account into your device, but you can't with your current fake rom, therefore you need an official rom. Do you know how to install one?
I'm waiting for the guide too
My a2 does not go into edl even with the particular USB cable, I have the bootloader locked.

1-Do you have Mi account?
2-Can you enter fastboot mode in your device?
The answer to these questions could be your answer:fingers-crossed:

I have a MI account, but i can't associate it in Developer mode.
I can enter in fastboot mode.
I was thinking, and I got this creazy idea, what if you changed your imei number with a current mi 6x number that already associated with mi account. Creazy huh
There's some stolen Mi 6X, and they have arb (anti=4) and A2 roms, too.
It seems selling on Xianyu (闲鱼) or Taobao (淘宝).
It will trigger lost mode (maybe) when you back to stock MIUI.
If you can, suggest to perform refunding.
FInally I bricked the phone then i unbrick it and i installed the MIUI.

I don't known why, the system found the upgrades and prepared the installation (usually this step fails) then appeared the message "reboot to install". After I rebooted the phone, it was bricked so i followed this guide (https://en.miui.com/thread-3811342-1-1.html) to unbrick and flash an official ROM.

This MIUI version can't be installed on this device.

Few days ago I bought Redmi K20 Pro from China. There was by default Chinese Stable ROM on my device. So I wanted to flash Global Stable ROM & replace Chinese Stable ROM. I got the permission to unlock my bootloader through mi flash unlock tool.
So I unlocked the bootloader on PC. Then I tried to flash Global Stable Fastboot ROM using mi flash tool. While I was flashing, mistakenly I chose "clean all & locked" on mi flash tool.
After flashing, my phone got stuck on recovery mode & it shows "This MIUI version can't be installed on this device". While I am trying to unlock my bootloader again using mi flash unlock tool then it says: You should wait 30 days to unlock another device.
Anyone can give me a proper solution how to get rid of it? I am stuck with it since yesterday.
Your help will be very much appreciated.

1. Thread is in the wrong section
2. You can only unlock one device per month.
3. You are lucky if you didn't brick your device.

Try after 7 days from today or at max you'll have to wait for 30 days before you can unlock. Use an another phone for the time being.

The limit is unlocking once per calender month.
On the 1st of the month the time will therefore reset to the normal 7 days, so you'll save a week at least. Still not good, but better than nothing.
If you cannot wait, you could open up the phone and put the phone into EDL mode and unlock and flash it. Look here for info about this option

As for needing an authorised account, people have reported success using s-unlock details of which can be found here.

Thanks to all of you guys. I was able to flash the Chinese stable ROM through test point/edl method with the help of a technician. Its BL is still locked & I am running the latest Chinese Stable ROM.

Did the technician open the back panel to perform the EDL or just straight away flash?

I think this is the best way to solve your problem, but still have to wait for applying BL unlock, after that you can start the second flashing.
Hey man I have the same problem. Except I cannot wait to unlock the bootloader because there is no account associated with my phone right now.
So I wanted to ask you to point me in the right direction. I can do the testpoint connection myself in order to go to edl mode.
What I want to know is if I can flash using just MiFlash tool or I need some other mi account or software?
Thank you!

Unable to unlock my bootloader

Hello,
I intentionally bricked my Mi 9 this morning and I only had access to Fastboot mode.
I was able to reinstall an original rom using MiFlash Pro and the tgz file of the rom 11.0.8.
However, my Mi9 was previously on 11.0.5 and I had the unlocked bootloader.
The fact of reinstalling the system made me lose my boootloader and during my unlocking requests via MiUnlock I now get the following message: "Couldn't Unlock, please download the lasted version".
What can I do to downgrade my rom and thus be able to re-unlock my boootloader?
Thanks in advance for your help and sorry for my English I am French
Maybe this is out of place here, but I was wondering, is the mi 9 100% possible to unlock the bootloader? Or is it something you apply for and hope for the best? Also, when they let you unlock the bootloader, is there a lot of custom ROMs out there that can be used as daily drivers?
this is mi flash error, you must download the latest version of mi flash!

Never lock the bootloader when flashing a non original ROM. You may now need to find someone who can perform an edl level flash. Just look at other posts, they do mention who to contact but it will cost a few dollars.

Your case is more easy than was mine. Just reflash the original ROM, unlock, and flash the global.
Cant flash original ? how did you flash it ?
I just found a guy fixed it in EDL mode remotely (Paid service )

You said your phone can't boot, get into fastboot, download the oficial fastbook rom to your smart, and just re-flash using the cable

I wont send this post if i have unlocked one
EDL flash then I'm afraid
Same problem here.
Anyone have a contact who can help me, $$.
Thank you
Edl flashing is easy (if we are talking about the same thing), you just need an original rom and the software. But yeah, not sure if that exists for the Ultra out there..
Software is MiFlash or something like that IIRC.
