If I root my phone (4X obviously) what services should I disable/uninstall and how to give it a bit more of battery life and better performance?
I've read around that Maps was one of the issues that was sucking up battery as a system app and people mentioning disabling some services but nothing specific.
Could someone give me some tips on what to remove and keep for a better experience?

Just search for "battery drain" and I'm sure you'll find something about that.
Hi guys,
I’m having big battery life issues. I’m using a custom rom with the franko kernel.
Please see the attached battery usage from the gsam app, I can’t work out how to fix these issues or what has started them.

We need more details. What custom ROM? Any modifications such as Xposed? Any screenshots of the battery graph in the settings menu?
Looks like it's the kernel you use. Battery usage is actually very good with stock kernel.

Your battery is at 94%. You cannot determine drain after using 6% of battery.
Hey guys, recently my chrome is draining so much of battery, I tried closing all the tabs and cleared cache. How to overcome this, it's taking around 31% of battery, and tats huge, can someone give me solutions fr this?
I was adviced on another thread here to install lightning on my tab S3 when it did that. Might solve your issue

I am new to the wakelocks and stuff thats why i dont know anything about wakelocks.
But there is one wakelock that is preventing my phone from going into deep sleep, the one in the title.
Can someone please explain what is the purpose of this wakelock?

I am having a problem with the "cne_imsa_ind_handler_wl_" process killing my battery by causing a permanent kernel wakelock after charging.
I've no idea what it is, Google doesn't have any answers and I can't find a reference to it on this forum - hence the new post.
Does anyone know what it is and could help me out?
