Impressed that ZTE was able to push the June Security update so quickly (for them). Also included is a fix for not being able to shut off the obnoxious camera shutter sound. KUDOS ZTE!

Pretty sure I saw a Samsung employee say the shutter sound was always on for privacy reasons. Probably will have to wait till it is rooted or a custom rom is available before you can get rid of it. If you cover the speaker in the clasp the sound is significantly reduced if it helps.
I noticed that my Oneplus 3T camera is very slow at taking picture from Whatsapp. The camera doesn't capture instantly after I press shutter button. There is a noticeable delay after I hear the shutter sound, sometimes up to 2 or 3 seconds! I have tried same Whatsapp version on different phones and they seem to capture instantly after I hear the shutter sound.
However if I am taking picture using camera app there is no delay at all. I am experiencing this problem since the first time I am using this phone.
I am using OxygenOS, rooted, stock kernel/franco kernel (doesn't matter, happens on both kernel).
Is there anyone having this problem? Or is this a known Oxygen OS bug?

I have the same issue with an unrooted stock phone as well!
Same here with my config
So I've updated to OOS 4.1.6 few days ago, still not getting better.
The camera focus problem is bit annoying in probably every camera app can we do something about this issue
Le max 2 worked it out I guess,they have implemented some patch into their rom update and they say it's working fine now.

I have really odd bug on my nokia 7 plus.
Whenever I press the shutter button under poor focus or low light conditions,
It sounds "Be-be-be-beep". and it's very annoying me.
I think this must be a software bug, because I can't hear this odd sound in beauty mode. (same condition)
I don't care shutter sound itself, but this shutter sound is really odd.
I already did factory reset and reset settings several times but nothing changed.
Of course, I'm also using google camera app, but I prefer to nokia camera's color and bokeh effect.
Does anyone have solution? Please give me some tips.

Hey can anyone tell me is there any stable update after jan security update which i can update to as i am still on jan update. And as i can see in the forum talks about bugs
June 2019 patch seems to be fairly stable. July had screen rotation animation bug and August has some issues with switching camera modes.

It's not an issue: when switching camera modes the camera modules produce a louder noise (caused from camera focus).
It's not a bug, maybe Xiaomi changed some autofocus-related values.

Thank you for clarifying. I don't use camera all that much or at all so I haven't read too much into it.
