chinese miui packs with a lot of junk that are useless for non-chinese users, not only taking up space/ram but also free to collect whatever info/data they can gather about you and no need to inform you about the usage. and it doesn't come with google service. the EEA one on the other hand follows GDPR to a degree and no chinese bloatware preinstalled, although it comes with google service instead but at least those are slightly more userful.
