Introduction:
Team Win Recovery Project or TWRP for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. We started from the ground up by taking AOSP recovery and loading it with the standard recovery options, then added a lot of our own features. It's a fully touch-driven user interface, with no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML-driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
Key Features:
Touchscreen driven with real buttons and drag-to-scroll
XML-based GUI that allows full customization of the layout true theming!
Settings are saved to the sdcard and persist through reboots
Ability to choose which partitions to back up and which to restore
Ability to choose to compress backups now with pigz (multi-core processor support for faster compression times)
Onscreen keyboard
Easy selection of internal/external storage
In addition to the above new features, TWRP features a scripting engine that allows an app to send commands to the recovery for the recovery to perform during startup. We call this scripting engine OpenRecoveryScript. This engine will be put to use immediately in the GooManager app. GooManager will be able to install recoveries automatically for most supported devices. The app will also let you choose to install multiple zips from within Android, wipe, and run a backup.
We are looking for other talented developers, themers, and device maintainers if they are interested in helping with a free, open-source project.

Heyyo, a new test build of TWRP is going up! twrp-3.6.0-11-zippo-test14-UNOFFICIAL contains the upgrade to the Android 11 branch of TWRP and updated decryption blobs to ZUI 12.5.365 and the kernel to the rebased LA.UM.9.3 kernel from LineageOS official builds.
It decrypts Android 11 ROMs no problems but I need someone to please test it on Android 12 ROMs.

Please read 2nd Post carefully!!!
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
Thanks to @The Flash for making this
Introduction from @The Flash Thread
Hello everyone! I am one of the members of the Substratum team and we constantly have people asking how to add support to ROMs. I have made a repo regarding all of our documentation here, in which I include steps to add support. Normally, it is easy to add support to most ROMs; however, Lineage has made some underlying changes to AssetManager and PackageManager that makes adding the patches a little difficult if you do not have some solid programming background. To help people who are familiar with building and git but not necessarily Java and C, I have created a series of reference repos that you can use to cherry pick the commits into your forks or local builds to easily have theme support! Please read this entire thread, I go over a lot of info and I will be upset if you do not read it all enjoy!
Information
Substratum currently uses OMS (Overlay Manager Service), Sony's theming framework, that allows for real time swapping of resources via overlays. This is accomplished through a series of commits, which include the core OMS framework, exposures so themes can overlay hardcoded resources, and a second set of framework commits to allow Substratum to do all of its operations without root access. You can read more about this in the main Substratum thread. We have made it so that it is easy to merge OMS and all of our exposures on AOSP or close to AOSP ROMs. Lineage is not one of those ROMs as they have based on CAF, which modifies AOSP to suit a large range of devices. Lineage has also modified core components like Package Manager for security reasons and some of those changes will conflict with OMS changes. I have merged the changes on top of Lineage and verified everything has worked properly. I will continue to maintain this as long as time permits. I plan to try and rebase the changes every day on Lineage updates but I may need to do it weekly depending on how much free time I have.

Not Working this feature !
Doesn't support MIUI Incremental OTA, however, survived the complete system upgrade. Other than TWRp it was replaced by standard recovery and should be reinstalled. Good job!

FAQ / Further reading
Q: SHRP can't mount data partition, what to do?
A: Make sure you formatted data partition.
Q: Phone is not booting even after 20 minutes
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting, make sure you formatted data partition.
Q: How to format data partition?
A:
Q: Phone is showing only Samsung logo
A: Try to reboot. If still not booting, consider installing an older TWRP build or a more recent firmware.
Q: I get "Failed to mount /preload message", what to do?
A: From wipe menu select Advanced Wipe, select preload partition to be wiped and reboot recovery.
Q: Why do i need to format data partition?
A: Because old rom encrypted your data partition and new rom can't decrypt and use that content / root needs access to data partition to place misc files / phone not booting after flashing root until data partition gets formatted.
Really nicely done recovery. Compatible with TWRP backups (cause TWRP fork lol) , includes a lot of useful modules to manage your phone, can repack itself to include password and themes that works with encrypted /data.

v3.5.2Build Notes:- This build is for devices running Android 11 Bootloader. ( Devices updated to Oneui3.x will have Android 11 Bootloader )
- Turning on ADB sideload and then turning it off/cancelling it will break all the communication of the phone with pc and the recovery needs to be restarted to use adb or mtp again.
Changelog:- Initial build for F41/M21s/M31/M31-prime
Bugs:- Patched Vbmeta required to boot.
- Fastbootd ( Will be fixed soon )
v3.6.1Changelog:- Updated with latest sources.
- Added option to backup and restore up_param and flash images ( tar archives renamed as .img) to it.
- Integrated multidisabler v3.1 script by @ianmacd into the build. ( Enter multidisabler in twrp terminal to get information on how to utilize that ).
The integrated multidisabler script now allows you to choose if you want to disable some specific things from the list or all of them.
- Removed gui offset along y-axis.
- Added fb2png binary.
- Fixed Android Verified Boot / AVB ( Twrp now boots without the need of a patched vbmeta ).
- Fixed Fastbootd and the finicky ADB/MTP.
- Included resetprop binary. (Should fix the issue with wrong props aka device not supported when trying to flash a correct file).
- Split the A51 tree into universal9611-common tree ( Includes everything related to twrp that's common on all the 2020 Exynos9611 devices ) and device specific a51/exynos9611 trees (These just contain the prebuilt files + if there's anything else like the unified script for the exynos9611 build ).
Bugs:- None
v3.6.1-hotfixChangelog:- Fixed the issue where the recovery would sometime randomly reboot 5 minutes after booting.
- Fixed issues with adb, mtp and fastboot.
- Fixed .tar file crashing Odin.
Downloadsv3.5.2Gdrive:- Twrp Image
