Does having different themes and customized taskbar icons and such affect the battery usage ? I had some really nice themes installed along with few other tweaks and stuff and my phone wouldnt make it thru the day with minimum usage. I hard reset the phone and left the stock theme and seems a little better but i might be wrong. Any opinions or experiences ?
if you have apps running in the background, then the processor will be running more than it needs to, and hence drain the battery more.
changing the wall paper shouldnt affect it tho
I always close my applications but i was wondering about TF3D themes and some registry tweaks to increase TF performance and stuff. Do those cause more battery usage. I doubt registry tweaks put more stress on the processor.

I know Dsexton pretty well and I asked him if he could fix some scrolling problems I have on XDA app and a few others. He provided me with these tweaks that are built for the SLIM BEAN ROM. He says they might not work for other roms due to the framework.jar adjustments he made. Works for me and improves scrolling. It could be better but improvements are improvements! yes go with either tekhds rom or maximum ovrdrive, both are excellent
Honestly, I don't see what the fuss is about....yeah the rom works smooth and I get no errors so that is great, but it doesn't come with ANY interface customisation settings... or am I doing something wrong? When I go to the settings I see nothing except for some some added apps. I asked in the forum and I was told to install a theme. Well I did and still nothing.... is there anything out there like the AllianceROM for my NOTE 3 that was highly customizable? Thanks!
Check out dynamic Kat or dynapop for inbuilt theming apps. Or you can always root your phone and install xposed to use modules like Wanam or xblast tools to do even more theme tweaking.

So I want to edit my phone the way that I want it to be and found out that xposed and others can do that, is there a best framework or I don't really know whats it called, but is there a best way? I currently have DotOS which really doesn't have much modification features.
