Bootloop - Redmi 9C Questions & Answers

Hi everyone, I installed PBRP on my redmi 9c and formatted the data, now it is stuck in the logo, xd.
I tried flashing no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1 but it ends with error and doesn't install.
Someone could help me?

Did you install it before rebooting your phone? If not, try reflashing the stock ROM and then installing TWRP and no-verity-opt-encrypt again.
Also, I would like to bring to your attention that it looks like you misspelled TWRP.

TWRP
And telling TWRP to boot system just bring you back into TWRP?
Hmm... sounds like you might need to reflash whatever rom you were on.

This happened to me. I installed custom rom then I went into fastboot and installed stock recovery. I would search in this forum for the stock recovery img file. Once installed, I rebooted and it loaded the rom. I had this problem on the latest twrp version. I installed the previous twrp and I am all good now.

Thank You.
Issue has been resolved. OP is my little cousin who's been messing around a bit too frantically [emoji14]
I restored his device with the unbrick tool by Haris K., all's peachy again. There are still some issues with TWRP for 3T, doesn't run nearly as smooth as on the OPO. It completely failed to restore any working system (both from backup or from reflashing). Sideloading seemingly worked, but rebooted to recovery again, adb push only resulted in errors. Are there any tweaked TWRP releases that can do better?

Hi guys!
Hopefully you can assist with my issue. It's the first time i'm having these complications with a device.
So i flashed TWRP (Which worked fine) And then flashed RR from within TWRP (The first install.)
If i have to enter TWRP after a full setup it's going to end up differently.
When i try going into TWRP the next time (Mainly for updates.) My device kinda softbricks?
I just get a black screen with nothing on it after the TWRP splash screen.
*shrugs* i think, and reboot my device, BUT! My rom will now start to setup again, but with a lot of com.android. errors.
This leads me to the only solution of reflashing TWRP + Getting the new RR Update = And starting the process all over again.
At this point i'm pretty frustrated with having to set it all back up every time i glance an update.
What could be wrong? Did i do this correctly?
THANKS!
U must reflash diffrent twrp ithink blue sparks is without issues

Do you mean different kernel? It seems noone is having issues with RR and nothing is stated in the "Whats not working" section.

Hi to everyone! I've been working hard trying to port Lineage OS 14.1 (LOS) to Galaxy Tab 2 (for the moment only is available in espresso3g). I've ported Lineage OS from the Nexus 7 2013 (LTE-deb), because both of them have an ARMv7a processor.
REMEMBER THAT IS IN AN EARLY BETA RELEASE, THIS MAY CONTAINS SO MUCH BUGS!

I'm working on it, it seems is an error of system.transfer.list or updater-script, but I will try to solve it, after this I will start with something you maybe will like, sorry for the inconvenience
EDIT: I have the solution but it gives error 7, system partition has unexpected OTA contents. Working on it since 2 weeks ago, sorry for the inconvenience again :b

Bootloop Help!

Hello. I restored the stock images in magisk, I thought. I tried to do a complete uninstall but it failed. So I fastbooted the April update and it's stuck in a bootloop. I fear I might not have uninstalled magisk. Is there help for me? I tried flashing stock boot image, factory reset, flash all stock. I'm in a pickle. Somebody help me. Thanks

If you don't care about the data on the phone, just do a full flash with wipe.

Do #4 'keep data' to install April factory image. Do #9 to reroot. Use this guide.
I have tried reinstalling stock images with -w without -w it doesn't boot up even still. It boots to stock recovery. That has always worked for me before.
Edit: I got it! It boots into this weird Fastbootd mode it looks like recovery. I thought it wasn't taking the install. I was doing something else and it kept installing even though it was in a recovery looking mode. Shoot I erased all my data and probably didn't need to. Thanks for the help!

Did you try flashing the OTA with the recovery?
Are you using SDK Platform-tools r29.0.6?

Did you uninstall modules? Restore stock boot.img? Fastboot devices gives you a proper response? Try everything they suggested that I do in previous posts. Change the cable you use. The guide from the previous post has a lot of good information. Tell us more.

Happened to me recently when I tried to flash dtbo.img back to stock
For some reason the fastbootd menu wouldn't let me use other fastboot commands, saying it wasn't unlocked, but going fastboot reboot bootloader then using fastboot commands worked successfully.
Very odd

FWIW, I have a utility for expanding sparse files.
Then you can flash them with any utility like a flat file.
Yeah, there are a zillion utilities that do that.
They are mostly named simg2img.

Nope, the update is done with OTA(Zip.format) then the Twrp.
update the TWRP first.
