unlocking redemi note 9 pro - Redmi Note 9 Questions & Answers
Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem on my redemi note 9 pro (I couldn't find dedicated forum for the pro version so...)... it's stuck on boot on MIUI logo, so I'm trying to flash firmware... to do that I need to unlock that with unlock tool and I've applied and did the process for unlocking and now I'm stuck when I try to flash it with the tool, it says "please add your account in miui settings developer options mi unlock status" and obviusly I'm not able to do that...
so any advice? any tips? any directions?.... is there a solution?
I've tried safe mode and deleting everything from it.

I thought that indian pro model isn't the same as global (EU) version?

Most people are saying that you should leave your phone to discharge completely, then plug it in and let it reboot by itself.

thx... yea tried that with discharging the battery but it didn't work... I still haven't tried dismantling it (don't have proper tools to heat it up), so I'm trying to see options before that...
Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 are NOT same devices and they does NOT share roms.
The only difference is the 48mp Vs 64mp and the 18w Vs 30w on the note 9s and 9 pro respectively. Also isn't the 9s the Indian variant, while the 9 pro is the global one..?
So apparently the 9s is exclusively Indian, and the 9 pro has an Indian variant (which is the same as the Indian 9s) and an international variant (which is different to the Indian variants), right?

Just flash stock MIUI using SP Flash Tool, if you are on REDMI NOTE 9 (MERLIN).
@VD171 Can you read mate, he already said he has the note 9 pro, ive already mentioned the forum for that device, and havent repeated a single message.
(Also the note 9 pro doesnt have an mtk SoC, it uses a snap 720g..)

Possible to reveal missing basebands?
As seems Xiaomi unfortunately decided not to bring the pro version to Europe (no mi 9t pro) I am wondering if it is possible to make the missing B20 available on the Redmi K20 pro. I am guessing it is not hardware limitation, right?
It's maybe not hardware limited. But need the current Qualcomm QPST tool to configure LTE bands for 845 and later SOC 855. The previous version QPST tool (can find in XDA)can only add bands for old SOCs like 820/835 etc. Some newer QPST tool can be downloaded from other site, but need a available account to log in.
isn't mi 9 using the same modem (x24)? Perhaps we can use its baseband

So I guess, if users force flashing mi 9 firmware into k20pro, k20pro's baseband may not change.

I live in the United States and need more bands to get decent coverage. Sounded complicated with the possibility of bricking the phone. I'll have to wait for the official global release if it does come. They didn't rule it out yet as they did before the Redmi Note 7 global version came out. Does not sound promising, indeed. I really need B20 for Germany, so I am really thinking about getting the Lenovo Z6 instead. Yes I know, it has a small notch but I need a replacement.

To be functional in the Xiaomi K20 Pro we would need a version of QPST and QXDM updated and functional with SD 845 and 855, as the partner above said. Maybe it will be possible soon, do not dismiss it. We must be optimists.

Click to collapse I thought the same when I saw this info, but if you look further at other releases and ROMs for another device, you'll notice they are very careful with this info. You will notice too that it's many bands, but it's not all.
I guess if Mi9 has already, we'll find a way (eventually) to unlock the bands. its must be a stuppid question, but what have we got to loose, right... Did anyone tried Network Signal Guru ? cheers

Question Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China is MTK!
Hello Experts! Apparently my Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China version is MTK! I bought it thinking it was Qualcomm and that I could easily switch my China Rom to the Global Rom like always. Unfortunately I failed to consider the chipset. I initiated the Rom update and Hard bricked my phone. On the computer under Devices and drivers THE MTK version quickly flash and disappear with the sound that indicates that the phone is alive within but dead outside. Please help me find the appropriate flash files to restore my firmware.

I sold a redmi note 10 5g, not to be confused with the lite, precisely a camelian. To refill the bootloader I have to reflex it with the "clean and lock" option .... I was wondering if you could link me the exact rom for the purpose, thanks
