Please help me for this little confusion

Hello everyone,
I'm planning to buy Xiaomi redmi 4 in India. I've found that it is named as redmi 4x in China.
1. If you guys can clarify if both the device are same.
2. If redmi 4x development is also applicable to redmi 4(India).
Thanking in advance.
Redmi 4 is for india user, and 4x for globar user. The development are the same.
Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
use Santoni word instead *device codename*

Question Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China is MTK!

Hello Experts!
Apparently my Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G China version is MTK! I bought it thinking it was Qualcomm and that I could easily switch my China Rom to the Global Rom like always. Unfortunately I failed to consider the chipset. I initiated the Rom update and Hard bricked my phone.
On the computer under Devices and drivers THE MTK version quickly flash and disappear with the sound that indicates that the phone is alive within but dead outside.
Please help me find the appropriate flash files to restore my firmware.
It used Dimensity 1100 mediatek, maybe you can ask in the telegram group. Btw can you enter fastboot mode

Yes, now I just need the right firmware I suppose. I have searched everywhere for a compatible Rom
Try this https://xiaomirom.com/en/rom/redmi-note-10-pro-note-10-ultra-chopin-china-fastboot-recovery-rom/

Sigh, I have a hunch that your Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is Poco X3 GT for global market (https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_poco_x3_gt-10949.php)
Next time, take some time to see whether this redmi note 10 pro (global) is indeed different than redmi note 10 pro (china)

Two different devices with different hardware. Flashing roms not meant for your phone will brick them.
Okay.

there is a section for international model
" https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/redmi-note-9-pro-international-model-general-and.11291/ "
Most people are saying that you should leave your phone to discharge completely, then plug it in and let it reboot by itself.
Also found this reddit post which seems to describe the exact issue you're experiencing:

thx... yea tried that with discharging the battery but it didn't work... I still haven't tried dismantling it (don't have proper tools to heat it up), so I'm trying to see options before that...
Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 are NOT same devices and they does NOT share roms.
The only difference is the 48mp Vs 64mp and the 18w Vs 30w on the note 9s and 9 pro respectively. Also isn't the 9s the Indian variant, while the 9 pro is the global one..?
So apparently the 9s is exclusively Indian, and the 9 pro has an Indian variant (which is the same as the Indian 9s) and an international variant (which is different to the Indian variants), right?

This thread is about the Redmi note 9.. the OP has asked about the redmi note 9 pro (eu model), to which i sent a link to the redmi note 9 pro forum in my third post. if you're not gonna help, then dont post here, if a mod decides to move or close the thread then he can do that. so far everything you've said is inaccurate:

u ok mate?
yes, the OP is not asking anything related to the note 9, but i already told him that, i dont think we need you to repeat my message thanks.
You don't need to flood the thread.
You don't need to repeat YOUR messages.
I hoped for answers and solutions and got the title discussion and aint nothing closer to solving my issue
MiForum has nothing as well ....
Just flash stock MIUI using SP Flash Tool, if you are on REDMI NOTE 9 (MERLIN).
@VD171 Can you read mate, he already said he has the note 9 pro, ive already mentioned the forum for that device, and havent repeated a single message.
(Also the note 9 pro doesnt have an mtk SoC, it uses a snap 720g..)

Has anyone tried Redmi 9 (Lancelot) Official Lineage OS on Poco M2 ?

As the title says it all, Poco M2 (SHIVA) and M2 reloaded are identical (with M2 having 6GB RAM) running currently on MIUI 12.5.7 Android 11 Indian Variant.
Will Redmi 9 (LANCELOT) ROM work on M2 ? Or should I wait for LAVA ROM ?
I have seen posts saying Poco X3 Pro 9Bhima) rom works on Vayu units (one has NFC the latter doesn't)
I couldn't unlock my Redmi 9 bootloader, at first it said couldn't verify smth then I signed out and in again into my Mi account and now the Mi Unlock app on my PC says to wait 168h
Am I supposed to unlock bootloader before or after downgrading from MIUI 13 to MIUI 12?
Thanks
