I am looking for Android 9 for Xperia 10 dual (I4113) of XperiFirm - Sony Xperia 10 Questions & Answers

Hello, I recently used XperiFirm to reinstall Android 10.
However, I would like to be able to download the file (although it is actually a folder) by Android 9. Android 9 is no longer available in XperiFirm, for Xperia 1 I4113.
Can someone please help me?
Thank you very much.

You can easily update the phone yourself using odin to flash the newest firmware version! You don't have to wait for your carrier to do it just go download the newest firmware for N950F and flash it and just do that every time a new one comes out.
Thx MrMike,
My mobile content will remain or i will lose all my apps...etc ?

If you're only updating you should be fine however I would still suggest you use Smart Switch from the play store and make a backup of everything on your phone so it saves the backup to your SD card so if anything goes wrong you still have everything and you just use Smart Switch to restore it all.. You never do anything to your phone without making a backup!

Easiest way to update to Android 11?

I have an Exynos that has been bootloader unlocked. I flashed someone's version based on Android 10 last year and am looking to move up to 11.
Can someone please point me to a walkthrough? I still have Odin, etc. installed on my computer. Thanks.
*Is* there a path forward to get to Android 11 on a rooted international (exynos chipset) Note 9?

Nokia 2.3 firmware

Posted this in the Nokia 2.1 thread since there isn't one for 2.3
I asked this question in many other sites but until now I got no response.
I found many sites that have it but it all of them uploaded before Nokia 2.3 got android 11.
I got two questions:
1 - where can I find the android 1 firmware (I need the boot.img)
2 - If no one has it. can I use the boot.img from android 9/10 for Magisk.
Thanks in advance.
I did not tried yet but did you tried using the /boot from the android 9? Or maybe the whole firmware and then update to 11 from inside?

Android Auto for Android7 ?

thnx.
Hi,
Google stopped Android Auto on older Android OS.
If you can't update, you have to buy a new phone. Unfortunately there is no alternative.

so, besides buy a new pohone, no other solution for me?
Sorry to say this.... but no, there is no alternative.

Update Xperia Z C6603 from Android 5 to 6 or better

I've searched the forum but although I can build a Windows PC and install an OS etc, I don’t understand all the jargon around Androids. Could somebody please answer a simple question – is it possible to upgrade an Xperia Z with Android 5.1.1 to use Apps which require Android 6 or later ?
I’m happy to take a chance on booting my phone to fastboot and flashing files from my PC – just need somebody to point me to the relevant post or url. Thanks.
Yes u can update your device to android 8 by flashing lineage os 15.1 with a custom recovery

Many thanks for such a rapid response - I'll read in detail and have a go in a day or two and post progress.
