Try Flash Firmware on Fast Boot with Miflash
Hey ,
Have u tried flashing stock rom with Miflash ?
Trying to help
Yes dealing with mi3 is kinda diff and bit tuff without sd card.
i had soft bricked the 2 days old phone with cwm recovery and bootloops.
sadly was not able to flash via cwm recovery due to status 7 error.
SO Best method is Hold vol down+power and enter into FAST BOOT mode.
and then download a fastboot rom and flash it through miflash and voila it must work "

F.Y. I developer version you will need to download google apps installer separately from Mi store.
Stable it should have the google apps.

When don't have enough knowledge, please don't suggest anyone! The links you provided for fastboot ROM are for Chinese MI3 not Indian (See the CN code in build number, Indian will have DMI). Yes, you can use any variant of fastboot ROM but each country have their own fastboot ROM and have different data partitions. So Chinese fastboot ROM will have different data partition when compared to Indian one.
It's recommended to use Indian fastboot ROM for Indian MI3.
Here's the download link for Indian fastboot ROM for MI3:

I unlocked the bootloader then wanted to put the root and an error occurred. Now the phone does not start up. How can I repair the phone. The phone was bought in Russia. As I understand it, he writes these errors
First wrote like this:
Error!
Func NO : 12 (boot image)
Error NO : 2 (load failed!)
In a minute I wrote this:
Error!
Func NO : 12 (boot image)
Error NO : 2 (boot failed in normalboot mode!)
Downloaded your firmware and poprobyval three buttons that's what he wrote to me:
Software install failed!
The update package does not exist. Please download the package again
Did everything but instructions
Step 1. Format the Micro SD card (This operation is optional).
Step 2. Unzip SDupdate_Package.tar.gz
Step 3. Copy the entire dload folder (with UPDATE.APP in it) to the rootdirectory of the Micro SD card. Check the filelist is right.
Step 4. Make sure your handset is power off. Insert the Micro SD card into the handset.Press the VOLUME UPandVOLUME DOWN key, and then press the POWER key to power on the phone and enter the Software Upgrade Mode.
Step 5. When the progress bar stop, the phone will restart automatically.
Help please and sorry for my english I use google translator
Whats your phone? DUKE-L09?
[Edit] If it's a Russian phone u need the Russian firmware DUK-L09C10B120a
The package I uploaded is for the European DUK-L09C432B120a
You could search Google with this search parameters: DUKE-L09 firmware. You should be able to find a russian or similar model firmware package from easy-firmware. As of now I couldn't verify if this site is legit or if this firmware is downloadable. Use at your own risk!
Good luck for now. :fingers-crossed:
I will Upload the Russian and C900 firmware today and edit the first post.

Try steps with my solution
1 . flash rom via fastboot to android 9 ( 10.3.17) ( always CLEAN ALL, NEVER CLEAN AND LOCK)
2. update to newest version miui 12.0.5 via Updater on Miui setting
3. flash recovery TWRP wzsx150 -- > it can backup and restore persist image
4. Restore attach fille link : https://apaxfranklin-my.sharepoint....lGmdvP3fetGDkBB8LSFy5oAiYpwkLeTbNT2A?e=QUsFPy
5. Format data then install rom which you like . "I chose the xiaomi.eu 11.0.8 version because it's stable -> screen brightness is better than miui 12"

Question I got stuck after download some Updates via OTA

Hi there
I am a newbie of Xiaomi Phone. I got a used Mi 11 Ultra phone from a reputable eBay User. My phone is currently installed with a stable version called MIUI 13/.0 (V13.0.12.0.SKACNXM STABLE). Since I am new to this phone, I click on system updates and managed to download a file called xiaomi.eu_Multi_M11Pro_M11Ultra_V13.0.13.0.SKACNXM_618A7FFAB_V13-12.ZIP Via OTA Updates.
After I click on the Updates Button, I got a screen with a green button : "Check MD5 & Install", after a while, I got a pop up screen says :Your device supports "Seamless System Updates",
I click on the OK button, also click on the OK button for the internal storage is encrypted.
Finally, to ask me whether I would like to continue to install the Updates, I choose YES and end up stuck at the Main Menu with 5 choices: Reboot, Wipe Data, Connect with MiAssistant, Safe Mode and Repair Mode. There are no choice for me to install the Updates.
Can someone give me a hand please ?
Many thanks in advance.

start with Repair Mode if it doesn't work Wipe Data(your data will be erased).
I tried both options but not working
Try installing TWRP recovery (permanent flash not just fastboot boot TWRP.img) and then retry the installation.

Ok, what do you want to do, update it to Chinese version or flash another version?
Do you know the Xiaomi EU roms?
For me looks like ROM what you had before was FASTBOOT installed xiaomi.eu stable, and then they started rolling out TWRP updates, and because you didn't have TWRP its reboot in stock recovery ?...
Can you boot into TWRP from this link:https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...eamwin-recovery-project.4374111/post-87360425
Please use this fastboot command
Code:

I'm right, your current ROM is a FASTBOOT version (so without TWRP)

He has already installed xiaomi.eu custom ROM, if you closely check his pictures from his first post - Updater app downloaded new version of xiaomi.eu CUSTOM ROM, so yeah he has already unlocked bootloader, and installed FASTBOOT version of CUSTOM ROM, the version what Updater app downloaded was released to be installed with TWRP (he didn't have TWRP on his phone yet) - so he need boot into TWRP and install update manually.

Hi gomcse2002,
Has your problem been solved?
If so, how did you do it, if you don't mind me asking.
I've had the same exact concern on my Mi 11 Ultra, which sadly has NOT been resolved yet.
Thanks.
