So, if I understand you correctly:
1. you register your phone on MIUI site, you get a user identifier
2. you apply for unlocking bootloader, you get a permission, you unlock bootloader with official miui unlocker
3. you enter recovery and install one of the MIUI ROMs from MIUI website, because you want to use MIUI OS
4. but you don't want your phone to be registered to your MIUI account
5. so you start phone in bootloader, connect it to your PC/notebook etc. and you use Miko tools to remove MIUI account???
I don't get it what is the sense of all of this.
Or is there a "secret identifier number" in your Redmi 4x santoni, regardless what OS you use?
And this tool I don't know looks dangerous.
Does anyone want to do a test and write a review of what you can do whit this tool?

This "EDL mode" (stands for Qualcomm Emergency Donwload Mode) confuses me. Could someone explain it in details, or give me a link about it?
It was written, you can use it to unharbrick phone, but EDL mode requires bootlader, so I don't get it how could you use it for unhardbricking.
You can enter into EDL mode on a completly dead phone (no recovery nor bootlader works, or phone doesn't turn on) by connecting hardware test points under the cover of phones while it's connected to PC by USB cable.

Does it make difference on a custom ROM or it has meaning only on MIUI Android OS?

It is a special flasher itself If you meant that it's more universal than MI Flash Tool, then the answer is yes.
But once you have to dismantle your phone to play with test points, it's already too complicated, should do only if phone doesn't turn on or no bootloader.
is it works on miui 10?

I believe to flash back to China Rom which version is less than 9.5.17 or should I say the ROM without rollback enabled is prohibited by Xiaomi unless you have the EDL Authorization access in your account. I'm not sure how to get this EDL authorization. People are saying that if you have this EDL authorization you may flash to any rom. If I'm wrong, please do correct me.
Sorry to say, but I see hundreds of reports the last days about bricked phones.
Mostly about the Xiaomi redmi note 5 pro and the Xiaomi Mi 8.
Xiaomi doesn't want to give authorization for edl. so sorry to say but you can trow your phone in the trash bin.
Nothing will solve your problem due Xiaomi policy, u can't repair your phone it useless.
Xiaomi official statement is buy our products in your region.
You should have flashed a Xiaomi.eu rom. They are completely translated, without any China stuff and aren't as aggressive when it comes to flashing things alongside the kernel and system ( for example, you get to keep TWRP even after the flash, unlike pure stock ).
A lot of people mentioned an EDL account but you have to wait for a decent amount of time to get approval from Xiaomi. Don't throw your phone away like the guy above said. xD

Try an old version of Mi Unlock to unlock the bootloader. If that doesn’t work, wait for 5 days and try again and it should allow you to unlock.

It is worth a try. Yes the unlock is linked to the account but i have seen people also unlocking it without binding the account. EDL flashing isn’t that easy because it needs an Authorized EDL Account to be able to flash the firmware. You can’t just put the device in EDL and carry on with the flash. So its worth a try rather than just sitting helpless.
Make a new MI account if you don’t have it till now. Hook your device and put it in fastboot mode and try the unlock with the tool. You might get an unlock instantaneously or for worst it might ask you to wait for 168hrs before you can unlock.

You will probably need too open the back panel to enter EDL mode, then you'll need someone with an authorised account to flash for you. A little bit of digging on these forums and you'll see many others have done this. There's a Russian guy with an authorised account, you'll find his contact details easily in the posts about this.
You'll need to pay him about $20 and you'll need to give him remote control access to your PC in order to flash an official ROM for you.

Do you have access to a hairdryer? That seems to be a common tool people have used. You might need to risk something sharp to get the first opening, but then something like a credit card could be used to pry it open more. There are a couple of posts on how others have done this without proper phone repair tools.

The only way I know of is EDL test point, there's a Mi A1 guide and should applicable to Mi A2 as well.
Next time don't do this, flash an A-only rom on an A/B device never end well.

Hey, I have a question. I have a bricked mia2 bought nearly 2019. I rooted successfully using magisk method, at that time there is no more tutorial about how to root the device. At the middle of of 2019 my device got bootlooped and there is no more tutorials for unbricking the device. Only the device showing is 9008 mode.. tried different methods and tutorials but nothing works for me. Does the 6x method works for me? Bcoz some says the hrdwre of mi a2 and 6x are the same.

When the PC does not recognize the device, there're few reasons for that. And doing the testpoint trick is the last you should try. But since u already opened the device, use QFIL to flash the stock into the device. For Xiaomeme devices which released from 2020 till now, yes, you must have Authenicated Mi acc in order to flash in EDL mode. But Raphael is released in 2019, then you still can do it, only that even u don't need Auth Mi Acc, but still need an Auth firehose prog in order to flash, and luckily, this can be more easier to find.
So, let's hope that your device is not ded as in ........ ded ))))))))))))))))))
