Is there any stable ROM other than the STOCK rom?
what is the most stable version of TWRP recovery that supports this model?
Another query, there are roms listed as "all variants" in this forum, do they work on this model? If there is one, which one could you try?
While the stock rom is fairly "stable", I haven't found the right way to debloat it, and I'm having battery drain issues.
I understand that there is almost no development in this model, but please I need help.

I have a really stupid question to ask here: which marshmallow rom can I flash to my Canadian variant Note 5 (Rogers)?
I have learned that all the Canadian Carriers offer the same variant Note 5 - N920W8 (could someone help confime this ???) and now I am really confused about MM update since not many roms specify our variant.
I really want to get updated to MM since it offers Doze and app permission control which will improve this phone's poor battery life.....
Also, where can I download the official MM rom??

My guess is we're waiting. I know many have said ROMs are safe for T-Mobile models (N920T) as they are similar, but seems we are getting Marshmallow before them do it's a matter of convincing more developers to add the W8 to the list. :/
You need TWRP for your device.
You can flash almost any international ROM, visit one of my ROM threads which have a voice fix which you flash after flashing the ROM.
That voice fix can be used on any international ROM.

Flash the a ROM of your choice then flash this fix. Reboot.

Yesterday i have bought Mi5 3/64 GB Variant. I am used to with an unlocked bootloader nexus phone with TWRP installed and various ROM to try. But this is my very first xiaomi phone. I don't know anything about this phone. So, if anyone can guide me through the related threads to do so.
P.S- what if i want to stay in stock miui rom with root access and xposed installed? is it possible. if yes, please paste the thread link here. Thank you.

You're going to be looking at treble GSIs. There is more information around the forums. Look it up yourself, don't ask others to do it for you.

I'd like someone to answer my question. I have xt-1925-5 (moto g6 dual sim) I'm not a complete noob but I can't find a good custom rom for my phone except LOS 17/17.1. I was wondering if there is any development going on or there is no rom coming out in the near future? Please guide. I'd love to see MIUI10 ported to it or some other good rom

In the description of that post, it says that non AOSP have to wipe data/cache/system. Will I have to do this?
