Question Realme C25s | RMX3195 | RealmeUI 3.0 | TWRP - Realme C25 / C25s

Has anyone tried to install twrp or other custom recovery on Realme C25s | RMX3195 | RealmeUI 3.0? I've tried TWRP 3.6.0 version, it only resets my phone. (thankfully not bricked) My intent is to flash custom ROM because realmeUI sucks, Its storage usage is getting bigger and bigger but I don't have that much apps.

I saw custom roms (H2OS) for z6 lite and youth but there is no work for pro version. I think devs are not interested on this model which is so sad. I am stucked at this fake global rom and not happy about it. What will we gonna do ???
I am sure it will slowly gain pace. Just ordered one, should get it in a couple of weeks. Should be a good replacement for my very brave Zuk Z2 Pro.
Regarding your issue with Global Rom (same applied to Z2 pro), I would advise you to move to Chinese ROM. There are posts about that here or in Lenovo community forum.
Just make sure you know what you do and do it carefully.

I don't fully agree. As you can read in the thread about CN Rom. There are a couple of limitations. But with a little patience and compensating 2 apps, the phone is perfectly well working. I use CN 11.1.105 daily without issue and all google apps working.
So if you don't want to spend time on it or fine tune it for every thing to work ok, then indeed sell it. BUT remember the price we paid for it!!!
SD855 with 8go ram, 128Go ram, great screen, 5 cams, jack connector.... For only 350€ in my books there is no good alternative.
If Zazza can international-ice a CN rom, why we can't do it? (11.1.080 ST)...

At the end of the day, a good stable stock rom is good enough for most.
And despite deserved criticism in the early days about the software part, I think we can now say that both latest CN and ROW roms for Z6 pro are very satisfying. This now make the Z6 pro an absolute bargain flagship killer.
The major disappointment to me is how little the XDA community is. A few years back, even obscure phones or tablets had a lot of discussion going on here.
And for instance, this thread is pointlessly inactive.
Me too, I have a ZUK Z2 Pro 128GB (AEX rom) waiting to be changed for a Z6 Pro but when I read all these pages about problems on the Z6 Pro I'm hesitating. Is it still a bargain knowing that the price dropped to 265€

No more issues thanks to recent OTAs.
Feedback on global rom is very good, and Chinese rom works also great with a couple of tweaks.
It remains a bit of a geek's phone, but yes I think it is a huge bargain
Merci pour la réaction. J'ai hâte de le recevoir mon nouveau joujou
Where did you download this Chinese rom version 11.1.105? Is there any newer than this? In this Chinese rom there are other languages like English and Portuguese-Brazil ? Thank you

Havoc OS 3.4 [Android 10] On Realme X2 - Installation Guide, 1st Impressions & Review

Havoc OS 3.4 [Android 10] On Realme X2 - Installation Guide, 1st Impressions & Review
About Two Months ago, it looked like the development of custom Roms For Realme X2 was never going to kick off. Today there are about four stable-enough-for daily-driver custom Roms Available. Thanks to all of these hardworking developers, Realme X2 now has official TWRP recovery support for all the variants. A week ago I took an in-depth look into Lineage OS 16 (Android 9) On Realme X2 Today I am going to take a look at Havoc OS
Is it Better than Realme UI on Realme X2?
You Can see the first impressions and how to install it below but Here I will delve into more details.
INSTALLATION
First, you need to have an unlocked bootloader. If you are already on Realme UI with locked bootloader, please do your phone a favour, do not try to unlock the bootloader now until Realme provides an official way to do That!
You can see how to flash TWRP recovery HERE
You have to be on Color OS 6.1 to flash it because it uses Color OS vendor. For the Best Results, the variants should be on the FOLLOWING COLOR OS 6.1 UPDATES OR FLASH IT BEFORE FLASHING HAVOC OS:
RMX1991 - A.17
RMX1992 - A.18
RMX1993 - A.18 (A.19 WORKED FINE FOR ME)
Boot into Latest TWRP Recovery WIPE:
Both Caches
System
Data
NB: DO NOT WIPE VENDOR PARTITION, THE ROM DOESN'T HAVE A CUSTOM VENDOR YET!
THE general performance for this Rom is quite impressive with the first build (Alpha) and you have to check it out to experience its smoothness and speed nevertheless, there is a challenge in registering the fingerprint. I was first discouraged but when I eventually registered the fingerprint, I was quite impressed with how the system reads fingerprint.
To register the fingerprint easily (as I later learned) wipe your fingerprint regularly during the fingerprint Registration,
tap gently on the screen and hold for half a second to 1 sec - and wait for the haptic feedback (vibration)
UI And OPTIMISATION
When it comes to customization, Havoc gets A++ for me. It even has a game mode which will be a delight for gamers.
The Status Bar

The Settings
View attachment 4993761
The Android Version
View attachment 4993759
The Performance is Smoother than Smooth AF... No Lags, No dulling, No Hanging
When It comes to battery charging speeds, I was shocked because it did charge faster than VOOC charge in Color OS 6.1
I did a video for that because you need to see it to believe it. Having used Havoc for 2+ days as a RMX1993, I am not worried about Realme UI on the EU version.
You have to turn off 'ok google' hotword as it seems to be using the mic continuously and blocks access to might to other apps
Another challenge is Device Not certified on Google which is actually a problem coming from bootloader unlock. You can permanently fix it using this guide HERE!
So, are you going to give it a try?
Do encourage the Devs or just buy them a bottle of beer...:good:
They are doing a great job for the Realme X2 community

Seriously? Yes, I am a reviewer who just reviewed a ROM for Realme X2 and decided to share my
Review to a relevant community on xda.
Did you not read the credits section? The ROM Maintainers are all xda Members so you can pm them and ask why they have not
opened a thread for It I was surprised myself else I didn't put it myself. XDA now removes Telegram groups links so
If you want the download link, just ask nicely.

Call recorder
Hi !
Thank you for yours posts.
Do you know if there is a rom inside which there is a call recorder included, since Android 9 and 10 shut the way ?
Battery Backup
After updating to Realme UI battery is draining crazily. So how is the battery backup in Havoc-OS 3.4???
Thinking about downgrade and installing linage/havoc!!

New noobie in flashing ROM's

Hey guys, I'm new here and my name is Dev
I'm 17 y.o. and I'm from Mumbai, India.
Currently procrastinating my studies to flash a custom rom on my only phone - Asus Zenfone 5Z
I wanted to install the OxygenOS 11 GSI, but I just can't do it.
And even Evolution X (R) will do but the guide is a bit outdated
P.S - I followed both available guides extensively and individually.
Thanks in advanced.

Thanks, Chief
BTW, just wanted to ask, If have flashed a custom rom and custom recovery (TWRP).
CAN I just go and factory wipe (the default wipe option in TWRP) and just flash another zip or a GSI .img??
P.S. If I am posting this query in a wrong forum, I'm sorry, Im a total noob.

Best forum to ask newb questions on Note 9?

(Mods please move if appropriate)
* I have a Note 9 (Exynos)
* I have mediocre computer skills
* A few years ago, I managed to upgrade my Note 9 to a rom identified as "ALEXNDR.N960FXXU6FTJ5" that I got here (based on Android 10)
* I would like to upgrade to a newer version of the same rom.
1) Is this the correct thread to use? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ase-v7-4-dex-gear-encryption-support.3847061/
2) I would like to keep everything else the same on my phone.
- I don't know if that means I'll have to backup/reinstall everything, if that happens automatically, or what.
- I have the following installed: TWRP 3.4.0.0, Titanium Backup Pro, Frija, Odin, ADB (?)
3) I would also like to know what other options I would have for ROMs.
- I realize that there is a forum dedicated to this (Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (Exynos) ROMs, Kernels, Reco)
- But there are so many threads and several different ROMs (I think)
- I could use a friendly "these are the most popular", "this one is only for experts", etc.
- I am leaning toward this one: Noble Rom 2.0
- I realize that ROM recommendations are highly subjective and depends on what the user "wants"...
Can anyone provide help? Thank you in advance.

Hello @Dougmeister, your thread is absolutely in the right forum, the Q&A section. Just to answer your question to moderators.
And the thread you've linked is certainly the one regarding the ROM you've mentioned. Consider to ask you question with your restraints as shown in topic no. 2 there.
As I don't know your device I'm unable to answer your questions regarding other ROM options. I hope somebody else will provide recommendations here in your thread.

If there's a new update available for the current rom you have, you can dirty flash it by only wiping Cache & Dalvik without losing any data & apps
go to TWRP wipe > advanced Wipe > select cache, dalvik
after that go to TWRP install and flash your rom.
If you're interesting in lastest ROMS for Note9 exynos, there're some pretty good roms out there made out of android 12.
1.) Noble 2.0 Based on Android 12 OneUI 4.0
2.) Alexis Rom 3.2 Android 10 with some cool features
3.) ArrowOS android 12 with OTA Weekly updates
4.) PixelExperience Android 12
5.) Project Elixir Android 12
5.) LineageOS 19 Android 12
