How To Guide [QUICK GUIDE][HOW TO] Unbrick Camellia/Camellian and restore IMEI - POCO M3 Pro / Redmi Note 10 5G

So here's a quick guide on how to unbrick the Poco M3 Pro (and maybe the Redmi note 10 5G) using SP flashtool for problems like
- stuck on MIUI/Poco/Redmi Logo
- lost IMEI
- flashing wrong firmware
NOTE: This is a QUICK GUIDE post so files and links (aside from the ENG firmware) are not provided. refer to the other posts/threads here and Google for those files.
DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES OF YOU CHANGING YOUR IMEI OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL ONE PROVIDED TO THE PHONE, DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK TO SAVE YOUR PHONE AND NOT TO CAUSE TROUBLE!!
>> POCO M3 stuck boot logo and IMEI repair
>>Quick guide<<
Requirements:
- unlocked bootloader
- stock firmware miui 12.5 recommended
- engineering firmware: https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1B5JOwjuHoVVo16dSEmKhLv7vwuP5frnw&export=download
- SP flashtool and MTK drivers
- ADB
- notepad/notepad++
- ModemMETA tool
- Your phone's IMEI located on the box or the barcode tag
- MTK authbypass
- USB Cable
- a ton of patience
STAGE 1: BOOT THE PHONE AND RESTORE YOUR IMEI
1. Setup MTK drivers, ADB, Authbypass, ModemMETA, and SP flashtool
2. Prepare STOCK and ENG firmware:
> Open the scatter files with notepad/notepad++ and find:
-cust
-rescue
-userdata
3. Edit these partitions and turn 'is_download' to "false" (editing these will avoid verified boot error in SP flashtool)
4. Open authbypass and plug in device. This will bypass authentication for flashing firmware
5. Run SP flashtool and locate the edited scatter file of ENG FIRMWARE (double check if cust, rescue, and userdata is NOT on the list)
6. Select "Format all + download" and flash the firmware. Wait for it to finish
7. At this point your phone will be in engineering firmware. Open the dialer app and type *#06#.
An imei with 000000000000000 should appear. So now you have a blank imei
[Extra step]
To be fully sure that nvram and nvdata is wiped. Reboot the phone to fastboot and type these ADB commands
> Fastboot erase nvram
> Fastbooy erase nvdata
8. Reboot and turn off the phone then launch ModemMETA tool
- press "connect" and plug the phone and see on the right panel if "Boot" got a mark. At that point it will start gathering kernel and nvram information
Additional note: if ModemMETA got stuck in 19% just disconnect the phone, hard reboot and try again
9. Once the ModemMETA tool status says "connected", press "Load DB" on the upper left side and wait for it to gather NVRAM data
10. After loading use the search bar on the top right and type "IMEI download"
11. A small window where you will fill up the IMEI information will show up
ONLY FILL UP IMEI 2. Writing on both slots will crash the engineering firmware. Press "Write" a few times just to be sure and press "Disconnect". The phone will reboot (and just reboot if it didn't)
Check the dialer once again, type *#06# and check if your manually written imei is there. If IMEI writing was successful, proceed to flashing stock firmware
STAGE 2: GOING BACK TO STOCK
1. Launch authbypass and plug the phone
2. Open SP flashtool and locate the edited scatter file of the STOCK FIRMWARE
3. Double check cust, userdata, and rescue again
4. Select FIRMWARE UPGRADE and press download
5. Wait for the flashing process to finish and it should be back to stock firmware with IMEI
Additional note: if you're lucky , both IMEI numbers will be back and calls, texts, 5G connectivity will return
>> Done
Congratulations!! you have restored your phone

I'm stuck with this. can you help? I was on GSI but the screen show when glitched before this happen.

I'd suggest doing the lot in the command line. I also had problems with the GUI versions, but the command line always worked.
I also wrote a full tutorial on it: https://diy.viktak.com/2022/10/no-r...-case-study-with-xiaomi-redmi-note-10-5g.html

Sorry about that, I didn't realize that was a problem. Corrected.

Could you please provide more information on what to do if it's stuck at 19%? I tried to hard reboot but no progress. I'm a redmi note 8 pro user but I couldn't find any more information on modem meta stuck across the web

can somebody tell me if i should fill up just imei2 with imei1 or imei2? Thanks!

The author of the method said that both imei can be restored, but with a very small probability. It takes a lot of effort to do this. I had a brick when I tried to enter both imei once.

i write imei 1 only
but phone not booted
i need imei 1 only
can be work?

Hello everyone and very proud to be on this forum,I have my poco M3 pro without IMEI and serial number and can not repair already taken to several stores but no one can,someone can help me even remotely if possible thank you very much.

[Tutorial] KDZ can see your device? No Problem!

Ok so allot of people have been asking, if kdz can’t see my phone then how do I flash.
This is a simple yet effective solution that I have found.
This will work even if
• usb debugging is off
• You made a factory reset
• Device wont boot
Before I start I need to give thanks to @mircea89fzr for providing this tutorial
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2409308
Step 1
Head over to http://lg-phone-firmware.com/ and download a kdz image for your device
Step 2
Download LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix.ZIP (attached) thanks to @mircea89fzr
Step 3
Run B2CAppSetup.exe inside the KDZ_FW_UPD_EN folder and make sure you install the drivers then close the program
(if you get program not responding undo changes you made in the next step and give it some time)
Step 4
Open notepad as Administrator(Go to windows menu, type notepad and right-click and run in Administrator mode)

And add this line 127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com
Then save and exit
Step 6
Go to windows menu, type cmd and right-click and run in Administrator mode.
Drag auto.vbs over command prompt and hit enter.
Step 7
Click OK until you get this
Step 8
Make sure Type is set to 3GQCT and phone mode to DIAG. Select your KDZ file and click Normal web upgrade test.
Step 9
Click on Upgrade Start.
Step 10
Click on Clear phone Software update Registry and then click OK.
Step 11
You upgrade will start and then give you this message
Step 12

Plug in the cable
Power on
Then Click restart
Step 13
Your Device will be detected for a split second and the flash will continue.
If it gives you the pop up again repeat step 12

Repeat step 12
Step 15
Remove the line in the host file

My apologies I should have made it more clear this is not a guide to flashing a kdz image as it was already discussed in this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2409308
this is a guide to flashing the kdz if your computer does not see your phone. It is more about step 11 on wards.
my apologies if I am offending the forum rules but I did give proper thanks and I have mentioned mircea89fzr so that he can see that I created this thread and message me if it is a problem.
the reason I posted this is because a lot of people have asked me how you flash when your device is not detected. referring them to this single post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45988501&postcount=23 does not help people as it does not explain how to get to that point. the user would then have to page back to find the tutorial. I made this guide so that they can see step by step in one post.
I will have no problem removing the post if mircea89fzr requests but I would make a suggestion to include steps 11 on wards as an addon to the original post.

[GUIDE] Fix No Network Signal Error in Mi Note/Pro

Hello Mi Note/Pro Users,
Today I'm here to solve the problem of No network signal error in your Mi Note/Pro by giving you a simple tutorial that you can do it yourself easily. Note: This tutorial can be used for both Mi Note/Pro.The steps are same, but make sure you use the correct file for your device.
For this tutorial we need some things, so let's get the things ready before starting the tutorial
We need Mi Flash Tool. So Download MIUI Rom Flashing Tool and install it in your computer.
Download the Modem file for your device: For Mi Note: Click here. For Mi Note Pro: Click here. The zip that you downloaded needs to be extracted to get the modem file. The modem file that you get after extracting the zip file would be named like this NON-HLOS.bin
Now let's get started.
Turn off your phone and enter your phone into fastboot mode. (For entering into fastboot mode, Press volume - and Power button together until you see the fastboot image on your phone.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After entering the phone into fastboot mode, Connect your phone to the computer.
Since you have installed MIUI Flashing tool, go the Android folder of the MIUI ROM Flashing tool, ie C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Google\Android. MIUI ROM Flashing tool will be installed to the above location by default.
Copy and Paste the modem file (NON-HLOS.bin) to the folder mentioned in the above step. Some times your pc will ask to provide administrator permission to paste the modem file to the above mentioned folder like this:
Press continue and the file will be copied and pasted to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Google\Android.
Hold down the left Shift key on your keyboard and right click inside this folder and then select Open command window here.
This will launch the command prompt screen like this.
Type the command fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin and press the Enter key to flash the modem like the one in the screenshot below. The screenshot below is actually of the Redmi 2 phone, so for Mi Note/Pro it will be slightly different. The modem will be flashed successfully and type in fastboot reboot to reboot your phone.
Your network should be back after that. Enjoy.

Special thanks to @Technoking2020 & @teejay456
The modem files for this tutorial of MI Note/Pro are extracted from the fastboot developer rom of the respective devices.
Just an FYI I tried this when trying to revert from 5.1 back to 5.0 and it didn't work. I had to do a fastboot flash of the entire rom file to get it working again
I have this problem when restoring TWRP backup. Still its enough to get out of trouble.

Might rise again modem files not let me download or host any file , in advance thank you very much

Good afternoon! Friends, I need help urgently! After flashing the modem, Mi Note writes that there is no SIM card,
Friends who can make backup partitions workmodem1, modemst2, fsg, I will be very grateful to you.
And then I'm sitting now with a player in 64GB. The instruction is very simple, especially for those who installed it either through the "ADB" folder.
Instruction:
1). Switch off the phone. We are going to restore TWRP. We connect the cable to the computer.
2). We go in the folder adb. Press SHIFT and right-click anywhere in the folder. Click Open Command Window.
3). Write the following commands:
Adb shell
Su
Dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p12 of = / sdcard / modemst1
Dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p13 of = / sdcard / modemst2
Dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p16 of = / sdcard / fsg
All backups are ready.
Modemst1, modemst2, fsg files will appear in the phone's memory
If someone is worried about IMEI, then it is not copied in this backup, if not.
Friends, I hope for your help!

Does your phone has warranty? If yes, the store that you buy your phone is where to go repair.
Remember don't install any magisk module like: Pixelarity, Oxy-ify, Pixify. Flash stock rom and lock the bootloader first if unlocked.

Hello,
So my phone was stuck in bootloop and thus, I created a backup in my SD card. The files are shown as 13 files of 2GB size each with an extension ".backup" Anyone has any idea on how to combine these files and access the data inside on PC. The data is very important. Thank you!

I've had numerous Moto devices and have never seen any backup options in stock recovery., so I haven't any idea what format these are using.
readback stock recovery from SP Flash Tool and flash TWRP. also readback metadata partition (crypto footer). do not unlock bootloader because encryption is bonded to bootloader state. if you are lucky TWRP will work on locked bootloader. TWRP will decrypt your data so you can backup everything

How to do this? USB debugging and OEM are not ON in my phone. I saw some tutorial on YouTube, but it requires USB debugging.
Can't I use those userdata_*****.backup files?
usb-debugging is another option to access your data (can be enabled in boot.img)
SP Flash Tool is for preloader mode, no usb-debugging required
https://android.stackexchange.com/q/203283
wait, you did factory reset already? in that case crypto footer is reset too. backup is encrypted and therefore useless unless crypto-footer is restored.
you said you restored backup, are you sure? does the phone boot into lock screen like before and is pattern still the same?

Yes, the password is still the same. It's like the phone is again in the same condition with the same issue of boot loop.
I saw some tutorial on SP flash tool and what I did was:
1. Downloaded the SP flash tool
2. Downloaded TWRP recovery specific to my phone
3. Opened flash tool, went to download, clicked on scatter loading, selected the file and then clicked on download and connected my switched off device to the PC via USB
But, nothing happened after that.
My phone started charging, but nothing else happened.
I thought drivers weren't installed, so I went Driver Autoinstaller folders (there were 2 of them) and clicked on Driver Install, but it showed me this

}
Then I clicked on finish and it showed this
When I went to the second folder, it showed me this
Is it because of this, that my device is not detected by this flash tool, and if yes, what can I do?
Yes it's driver issue. Disable driver signature enforcement and reboot. open device manager, connect phone and immediately select yellow triangle. install inf manually with let me pick option
you should not flash TWRP without a backup of stock recovery. Do a readback first. Also it is important the scatter file is matching your current partition layout. therefore you should analyze the result. if you are able to extract ramdisk with AIK then you have successfully dumped stock recovery (and can proceed with next step flashing twrp)

Understood before the readback thing. What is readback? I saw the tab in flash tools, but didn't get what it was? Can you please tell how to do that? (sorry for irritating, as I said I am a noob )
And how to analyse the result part? I didn't get the "extract ramdisk with osmosis AIK"
Is there any tutorial video that you know of, if yes, kindly send the link please coz I don't understand these terms.
And thanks a ton for this!!!
on readback tab delete all entries. add one entry for EMMC_USER. give meaningful file name recovery.img. enter length and start address in hex (refer to scatter file). start readback and connect phone.
Disable Antivirus program and download AIK. copy recovery.img into AIK directory and execute unpackimg.bat. enable Antivirus when done

So, what length and start address am I supposed to enter in hex?
And you shared the link AIK, in that there are so many options, which one do I have to select?
What can I do now?

tested all links. must be something about your country. you should get something like
Couldn't preview file. You may be offline or with limited connectivity.
click on -> Download
Google Drive can't scan this file for viruses
click on -> Download anyway

Yes, I did that, after that only it shows this.
I am about to cry, it's been 14 months trying to get those files. Every time, I get too close and then bam! back to square one. Can't access those userdata***.backup files, can't access the phone, as soon as it starts, it gets stuck in a reboot loop, can't flash TWRP because not able to download the file. You have no idea how painful this is. Still thanks a lot, you helped me a lot, but I guess it's a lost cause now. Earlier lost the person, now lost the memories. Thanks anyways

General [GUIDE][UNBRICK] Realme 8 Unbrick/Upgrade/Downgrade [RMX3085]

Hello everyone! So after the new MediaTek DAA and SLA protection bypasses you can find GitHub repo of here , using the bypass we are able to use SPFlash Tool, here is a guide how you can do it! This guide is for RMX3085 (Realme 8) ONLY. DON'T DO ANY OF THESE IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING ELSE!
ALWAYS USE DOWNLOAD ONLY MODE OF SP FLASH TOOL.
DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING RELATED TO FORMAT ON SP FLASH TOOL! (IT'S WRITTEN EVERYWHERE, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR IMEIS IF YOU USE FORMAT ALL + DOWNLOAD. YOU ARE SAFE IF YOU USE DOWNLOAD ONLY.)
Requirements:
PC or Laptop
Internet connection
Realme 8
USB cable
Windows Method
Requirements:
Bypass Tools Pack - (DRIVER AND BYPASS FILES)
SP Flash Tool
Decrypted OFP (OPPO FIRMWARE PACKAGE) :
Indian
A.22 (Indian) - GDrive
A.24 (Indian) - GDrive
A.26 (Indian) - Gdrive
C.05 (Indian) - GDrive
C.09 (Indian) - GDrive
C.11 (Indian) - GDrive
Global
A.22 (Global) - GDrive
A.24 (Global) - GDrive
A.26 (Global) - GDrive
Install Python from Windows Store
libusb-win32 - Having Issues? Use this.
Get usbdk installer (.msi) from here and install it
Steps:
1) Extract the zip
2) Go to driver folder, find the .inf file right click and press install.

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
3) Download this file and install it, after installing power off phone and connect to pc while holding Vol+- (don't leave the buttons after connecting) . You might need this driver as well if it's not detected.
4) Press next, connect your device to PC while holding Vol+- buttons (your device needs to be powered off, and don't leave the buttons) and you will see the mtkdriver down below. Install it.
5) Choose MediaTek USB Port and install it.
6) Then run the brom.bat under Bypass folder.
7) Now power off the phone and connect the phone while holding volume + and - (Don't leave the buttons until the bypass is done)
8) After the above step Go into Flash Tool folder and open the SPFlash tool go to Options>Option
9) Click on Connections and select UART and set Baud Rate to 921600
10) After that choose scatter file and also if not set, set your download-agent. You don't need to select auth file as authorization is disabled. Once you do it, it should look like this. ALWAYS MAKE SURE DOWNLOAD ONLY MODE IS SELECTED! DON'T SELECT OTHER MODES!
Select all the Partitions except opporeserve2 and cdt_engineering. otherwise you will get errors.
*11) If you want to flash super.img partition also then download this scatter.txt file and replace it with the another scatter file which is present in the decrypted firmware folder. After that select it again in sp flash tool.
Again Make SURE "Download Only" is selected. Don't select ANYTHING ELSE! You will lose your IMEIs, Serial Numbers, Capability of Hardware Attestation etc. if you choose "Format data + Download" make SURE you selected "Download Only".
Now, you can start downloading with the button and after that a checkmark will appear. You can reboot your phone and use it like before now! All your userdata will (inevitably) be cleared!
After flashing it should look like this. Download has been complete. Enjoy!
"Congrats Now your Realme 8 is Unbricked "

If you face any issues write them down below...
Some people having this problem so I want to add one more thing to the guide. If you are not having any issues related to boot then don't follow these steps.
After waiting more then 10 minutes, if it doesn't boot up/bootloop. Or shows DM-Verity corrupt error then do this.
1) Try boot into stock recovery by pressing volume up + power button after that when your screen flashes quickly unpress buttons.
2) Now press volume down + power button, by pressing these you will boot into stock recovery.
3) Go to format option and do a full format.
4) Your phone will definitely boot up after that.
Hi
I would like to ask how you obtained the system for realme 8 in the latest version.

Realme 8 Firmware (RMX3085) - Realme Firmware
Realme 8 Firmware RMX3085 Official Flash File (Stock ROM). flash your phone using realme flashtool or MSM Download tool.
realmefirmware.com
if "Brick" occured in rooting process - then can recovery be done without data loss :
Prerequisite: firmware version on the body must the same as downloaded "Decrypted OFP" (as example both is A.22 )
HowTo:
at step of SPFlashing (currently that is 10-th)
- check ONLY next partitions in SPFlash to restore :
PRELOADER RECOVERY VBMETA LK LK2 BOOT
... and NO any of other
(as thats only are touched by currently described rooting processes)
after recovery exist on every boot:
"dm-verify corrupted..."
how to get out of this message?
Reset with clearing data not helps ...

ok cleared partitions with python...
still the same alert ...

Try booting into stock recovery and format from there
Ok. format from recovery menu solves ...
now that boots normally =
- no alert
-no boot allowing by pressing key required
good behaviour to see when boot subsystem altered, as at every boot alerted and required to press longer power button to confirm/allow starting ...
interesting, that is something new on mine (device versions) or overall ...
I have it anyway. have you solved it yet? Do I understand correctly?
after doing the insstruction, mine bootlooping and enters recovery mode

I Think that is not so solvable /possible if someone decode debug and finds /... but that is quite acceptable for rooting /if you don't want to make illegal spionage and so on/ ... also as if your device will be rooted by someone - you will see alert of changes on boot ... that is good ...
if you are rooted - you must be alerted .
but if you will going to stock rom and have protection - then flashing "stock" (surely without 3 partitions that IMEI-and-so-on-related ) and then format from recovery menu helps return to "factory" operation

There should be some mistake in your process. Because this guide is working and tested by many people.
Does global firmware have realme dialer instead of google dialer?
Can I flash Global firmware my indian device?
on your firmware package, it does not flashes super.img by default. Because in scatter file
- partition_index: SYS48
partition_name: super
file_name: super.img
is_download: false
changing false to true helps fixing destroyed super partition
