Question From 11T pro to 12T pro? - Xiaomi 11T Pro

Is it worth it,to change 11 to 12 pro ?
I ordered it in in pre order sale for 700e , I sell 11 t pro for ,300e and got a gift from Xiaomi , Xiaomi smart heater that worth 150e euros .. literally phone will cost me 300e.
I have opportunity to see and check system , camera. It's a big difference in CPU 888 and 8+1 gen, you can feel it . Camera if awesome... I choose blue color. This previous was gray , I decided to change it to some lighter color.
A lot of people say that ,11 T pro is good phone and I should wait until next year generation.
But the most important thing is battery , CPU 8+1 gen is more efficient then 888 ,and battery can last more then on 11tpro..
Color of screen is amazing. Especially on sun, it so bright that you can not see hole for fingerprint like it was on Poco fa Oro that I have. You can see hole on screen on sun where is fingerprint unlock set... Another improvement...
I hope that will be good ,and have more custom ROMs than this phone.

Yes go for 12T pro if it's only cost 300e

Yeap, otherwise not very interesting, go from aluminum to plastic, super Amoled to Amoled, Corning Gorilla Glass 7 Victus to Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and Xiaomi optimization for the 8 Gen1(12 pro) currently not really on top.

Both 11t Pro and 12T Pro is just amoled screen.
12T Pro 8+ gen 1 is still better than SD888 or 8 gen 1
Atleast this time there OIS with main camera.

Redmi K20 (Mi 9T) VS Samsung A70

https://youtu.be/aJ7H2SN2VsA
If you watched the video you can clearly see that both phones have same brightness level yet the A70 screen looks much brighter and better than K20's screen which is dim and has ugly red tint. Samsung used a a very high quality amoled panel in the A70, the best I have seen in this price range. A70 also has bigger screen, bigger battery, and performance is great. It's downside is the ugly outdated back design and build materials. K20 has notchless display but look how thick the phone is. A70 is much thinner and sleek. I think the A70 is the winner.
I might be biased since I own the A70  Still the superiority of A70's AMOLED screen is undeniable and it's the main reason why I choose Samsung phones over other brands.
Bottom line: Not all AMOLED screens are created equal! Chinese phones use cheaper lower quality amoleds.
What do you think? :fingers-crossed:
I think the back of the a70 is really nice and does every thing I want it too just a shame the back srat he's so easy
the mi 9t is 300€ in france or 350€ depends on deals.

Yes you r right my source site was wrong.
Good to know
Also loving this battery life... way better than s10+
So a70 or mi 9t
I still prefer Samsung a70 over mi 9t
Special regards the display
I have no problem with the back of the phone i'm using a case anyway or after a month i will find tiny scratches everywhere even if the back is metal
Im currently debating between mi 9t or a70.
Which phone has better camera and video quality.
Can someone give me a hand?
Xiaomi mi 9T is the better device to me and yes I have both.
K20 has its disadvantages....
No expandable storage capacity..
Screen size...
Battery life...
These 3 are the ones which made me go for a70 rather than any other phone...

64gb or 128gb expandable storage is a personal preference.
Screen size is a personal preference screen on the a70 could be to big for some.
Battery is great on both back to screen smaller less battery consumption.
Disadvantage a70 sd675, glastic back that scratches easily, oh and one low speaker I have to crack it to the max most of the time.

Well, plastic back is actually preferable with larger phones because of the risk of accidental drop. And to be honest, a70 performs pretty good as well. And it is perfectly slim and anyone can hold this phone in his/her hand without problem. One hand usage is pretty awesome.
The speaker volume is good enough. But plug in a good mid tire headset, its amazingly good...

should i buy this phone or vanilla op7t?

hi. what do you think? i'm more willing to buy 7 pro but i dont like edges ..
7t is cheaper , more powerful .. flat screen .. on the other hand 7 pro has better screen res and better dev support
my hatred towards edge comes from s7 edge .. i hated it .. especially green color shift in edged section .. does 7 pro have
the same issue ? color shift in edges?

oneplus 7 without pro is complete garbage if you ask me.
Compare to the 7t, the 7 Pro has a stunning design and a better screen. The difference in performance is not crazy and no screen issue on the 7 Pro.
If you can, go for the 7 Pro, you will not regret

thanks mate but i'm considering vanilla 7T and 7 pro
You a fan of notches...
Personally I had the 6T (which is more or less like the 7T) I loved BUT the 7pro is completely another matter, the 7 pro is like the Samsung Note, it's very high end.

Edges are green if you turn the phone to left or right, because you change angles. It's like you watch tv from a corner of the room...
Edge to edge screen. GREAT!
Screen 90hz . Awesome. Beautiful and Fast.
Camera it's good. Not the best, but decent for a phone.
Overall it's a Very Good phone.
Get the 7T if it's less expensive
With $150 off promotion still going on (at least in the USA), 7 pro is actually $50 cheaper than 7T?
Just ordered mine.

I was concerned when I was told only black and grey where available at time of purchase but I chose grey because it looks very sleek. It's marketed as mirror grey, the color is more like dark smoked glass, glossy, very reflective, and it has a neat color shift in certain light that appears in purple hues. I use it without a case in certain situations and it definitely is eye catching
I AM SERIOUSLY confused about 2 things. i am sure i will buy Oneplus but confused which to go for Oneplus 7 pro or the Oneplus 7T pro.
ADV- Oneplus 7t pro because of the Macro Lens ( but in few YouTube videos i also saw that the sensor is in the middle of the two cameras in the 7 pro) but some in oneplus community also say that its a hardware matter and not possible to 7 pro with just software updates.
the 855+ processor doesn't bother me really. i wont even feel the + difference
DISADV- $100 more than 7 pro and the Haze Blue color ( i kinda like the nebula Blue)
what to do? i love the macro shots too but paying $100 for it is a bit much. i so wish it was there in 7 pro. kinda frustrating.
I would go with the 7tpro if it doesn't have the rounded screen..The screen on the 7pro really is bother some to be honest..I'm just going to wait for the 8 and move up..
The 7 Pro is currently on sale at OnePlus. The 8GB/256GB is 150$/140€ cheaper if you use op7pro code on checkout. You are also getting a "gift" (Type C Bullets) and free shipping which saves you at the end around 180$/170€.

Gotta say this is a pretty sweet deal
I personally never had a phone with those curved screen and I prefer a flat screen like the 7T but no notch and the higher resolution are also very nice. So its what you really prefer. If it costs even less then take the 7 Pro, its a hell of a device, if the battery holds up I wont change it for 2 years at least. Its a nerly perfect phone for me personally.
I bought the 7t but switched to the 7pro. If you have the extra cash go for the 7pro

Don't know if it's important for u. But right now the 7 pro with 256gb is on Amazon.de for 524€ and the normal oneplus 7 is up for 434€ on sale.
Wow. That's a way better deal. Lowest at OnePlus was around 599€ and this is 60€ cheaper.

Mi9 Tempered Glass Protectors - Hard to find - What else fits?

Hi all,
It looks like all the decent quality Mi9 screen protectors are disappearing.
... I cant find any for sale on eBay inside the country (Australia) anymore.
Are there any other phone models with comparable screen size?
I dont use the selfie camera much so dont really care if that got covered up.
Thanks

well, i dont know whats around Australia to sell but, if you dont mind to use screen protector that cover the front camera - they protect the camera, dont affect nothing, nor image quality of them - i recomend you to use screen protector for the Xiaomi K20/K20 Pro, its all square without the cut out for the waterdrop notch and will protect the front camera too. And they fit fine on top and bottom as well as sides...and look very good all around like when screen is off you even cant tell you have a waterdrop notch, looks like is all screen.
Thats what i am using since day one and im happy with it, dont need to be expensive protectors since a little crack will make you wanna replace the thing so i just use random cheap ones...i replace them every 3/4 months.
Perfect!! Thanks for taking the time to reply, exactly the type of answer i was looking for.
K20 protectors are readily available. Ordered
I'm using Mascheri tempered glass protector for Mi 9T on my Mi 9. Without the notch it looks so much better and the selfie cam doesn't suffer at all from the glass.
Cheers
Toscha
Redmi 8/8a
What about the difrent models of Nillkin brand, did you check them out? As far as I know they ship to Australia from AE and you have plenty of them there. Have been using them for years on different phones. Have one installed on Mi 9 from August last year. The Nillkin amazing h+ Pro is my favourite, because of the durability, you can also find great full cover glasses (which I have at the moment, although I prefer h+ Pro) . The oleophobic cover, its scratch resistant properties and the full package overall is above all the competition in my opinion.
I used redmi note 8 one on mine

Question Does X60 Pro+ has any Gorrila Glass Protection?

Does X60 Pro+ has any Gorrila Glass Protection? Or any other Protection?
The non-plus has GG:
Vivo X60 Pro | Vivo | Corning Gorilla Glass
The Vivo X60 Pro takes it up a notch with a 48MP quad rear camera, a 32MP front camera and a 4200mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. For better protection against damage from drops, its glass back is designed with tough Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6.
www.corning.com
I would assume that also means the + has it...
I'm getting the phone today from a store here. The only reason I chose this instead of OP9 is because of camera quality, price difference of over $245 from OP9 pro
Some cons I'll have to live with are:
No stereo speakers
No IP rating
No wireless charging
Slightly lower display spec
Single speaker is not that bad when I demo'ed it at the store which was generally busy
Display difference is hardly noticeable, or I'm told so.
Phone feels good to hold and the back is super friendly against smudges or any scratches. The camera bump could be an issue though as it is felt even after adding up a case on it.

Agree
I can leave without stereo Speakers as mostly use earphones. And it support LDAC which is very good.
We Would need to be careful using phone and I think there is some protection and we should be able to use during rainy season or sweating, should be splash proof bit. I guess they couldn't get official IP rating due to vegan leather back
For me wireless charging is gimmick. Should we carry wireless charger or buy one for home, car and office. Happy to do same for wired charging. True wireless charging is yet to be discover.
Display as long as it reduces strain on eye I am ok 120 refresh rate should help...
Only thing I miss is IR blaster which helps controlling multiple home appliances/devices.
Other on list yet to know if it support is MHL to connect to Monitor or TV through HDMI
I booked it too hoping to get it in hand soon. Obviously camera setup was main point for me to lean on this one in compare to 9th attempt phone.
Took another hands-on demo with the phone. Things I discovered:
Runs significantly cooler than Samsung S20 FE when I shot 30+ photos back to back and recorded a minute long 8k video
When the display is OFF, there is a time and date in grayscale at the top right curved edge of the phone ( I hope this can be customized )
There exists a pre-applied screen protector
Although I'm still worried about the aging of the phone compared to OP9 for battery stamina, cell and data reception.

The AOD should be able to be toggled off.
After the factory screen protector wears out try wet apply Gorilla IQ Sheild if they make a protector for that model. Long lasting and relatively easy to apply correctly on a curved screen.

The Vivo X60 Pro is nowadays very popular for its 48MP quad rear camera, a 32MP front camera with its Carl-Zeiss branded optics, and comes with a 4200mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. For better protection against damage from drops, its glass back & front are designed with tough Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6.
I think i didn't see it yet the Gorilla Glass but normal glass will be available.
The Vivo X60 Pro+ has a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,376 x 1,080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone comes preloaded with Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 with a 4,200mAh battery with 55W fast-charging capabilities. Its glass back is made of strong Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6 for improved protection against damage from drops.

Question Oneplus 10 pro and Pixel 6 pro same screen protector?

I have used whitestone dome screen protectors for years and I just noticed my oneplus 10 pro screen protector box has stickers coving a Google pixel 6 pro writing on the box. Do they use the same screen protectors or do you think this was just an error in production?
I doubt, 10pro screen's dimensions are bigger than the 6's. AFAIK
Guess they just recycled the boxes they had?

I think you were right, I just ordered one for my girlfriend who has a iPhone 12 pro and the box came the same way
Under her sticker it said Iphone 12 pro/ iPhone 12 max. So I guess they either had a labeling issue or recycled boxes.
