Github

Looks interesting iam using ktweak (balanced) by tytydraco is this a fork of the already existing ktweak script? I was wondering since the name tytydraco pops up in the op.
If compared to Ktweak what are the major differences?

just get block by avast

Yakt is diff from ktweak, ktweak focus on having less latency yakt focus on UX

quote from tytydraco github:
"KTweak sacrifices throughput for latency, since latency correlates to UI / UX smoothness"
So eesentially both "tweaks" have the same goal in mind but their approaches are different
anyway thanks for the module I will give it a try

Be sure to look out for my own tweaks module coming soon called PlaceboMod
You'll know when its installed because all it will do during module install is say the following:
"Its 2022, no ROM developer is leaving any performance on the table.
Make better choices"

I'm currently not using it right though, I'm using a custom kernel.

Amazing! Thank you for your review.

New YAKT v7 release!
Changelog:
- Reverted userdata tweak from oriole (This makes storage speeds lower).
- Removed some scheduler tweaks (This might fix callbench scores).
- Removed normal cgroup tweaker.
- Force zpool compressor to zsmalloc.
- Removed kprofiles tweak (Doesn't make any sense tweaking it).
- Enable sched auto group (In order to reduce latency).
- Tweaked sched_latency_ns.

Hey dev, I see you very active with YAKT and Nexus (for which I don't understand all diff. repos).
Can you please explain something I cannot figure out: is it possible in kernel for newer Androids (I have 11 on lavender) to enable Mass Storage Gadget ,so that SD card from phone can be seen as USB drive in computer? (I used UMS Enabler app for that ,but needs MSG).
Must it be compiled or could it be Magisk module tweaker ,like this one ?

Hi! Something weird is happening to my phone, whenever I reboot and unlock it instantly, the YAKT.log is created, but when I unlock it after some minutes the log isn't. I don't understand why and I don't know if yakt is working when the log isn't created.

This can be used on any kernels including stock's?

You can use the last bluspark from OnePlus 6, BTW I installed this kernel, it all works, except when I enter audio settings the phone crashes and hard reboots, there might be something conflicting
I am a happy camper.
I was hoping for ElementalX. I have has ElementalX on my Nexus 6P then my Essential PH-1.
Thi is the best kernel and I'll have it on the 6T.
Downloading now so when it arrives I have all I need.
YES!!!
WOO! ElementalX! So @flar2 I'm coming from a Nexus 6 (shamu). Do OnePlus phones have forced encryption like the shamu did? If so, is it a simple flag set in the kernel? Thanks!

I think the 6T doesn't have a headphone jack, so that's probably it. I will be getting a 6T soon, and will fix that up.

Use default settings.
You may block some wakelocks.
I wouldnt recommend it but, you may underclock cpu frequencies to get more juice at cost of performance

U need to use ex kernel manager to be able to block wakelocks
Edit - No wakelock blocking option I see in latest kernel version 3.02.
Re-edit - wakelocks can be blocked again dont know why they disappeared.
6t either reboot or shutdown when the sound option in EX Kernel Manager is selected. Besides that everything seems ok.
Hi guy, can you test something ?
Is the fingerprint sensor work if yo change colors settings (KCAL) in kernel app ?
Thanks

I am not a fan of display overclocking cuz it will lead to decreased apps stability and changed colors.
Furthermore, tried overclocking gpu (the only thing that worth to oc on our Tab) but it wont boot for some unknown reason.
Even if u change/add freq just a bit higher.
Maybe it will be clear sometime.
I can help u with that, it's just one file to change in kernel. Samsung dex 144hz works with usb type c monitor certified by samsung and adapters from samsung, but their adapters are not what i need to work.
Just need to delete the other cases in switch and keep the case of Samsung Adapters to return from function.
It's not about OC GPU

I do not enjoy change above all.
Interested in some great projects as Exagear, Linux Deploy, old DOS and console emulators.
Large amount of them are discontinued and pretty obsolete.
Besides fancy design changes A11 brings many disgusting limitations that just unacceptable for me.
They broke a lot of old applications & modules which I really do not want to lose.
However I will update as soon as there will be alternatives or extended support.
Can I use this on T970 which already came with Android 11 in the first place? Do I have to downgrade to use this?

Try the GSI version. Might be better might not as essentially this ROM is just TRV+CrDroid packed into a flashable zip. And no this is not OneUI this is AOSP-based. And don't demand others to try the rom for you as there is nothing stopping you from doing so anyways.... And no spectrum doesn't always help in gaming performance. All it does is simplify setting kernel profiles for those who can't understand fully what each and every setting does. You'd be better off using a kernel that works best for you and tweaking only the necessary parameters in hktweaks rather than relying on presets that may be inefficient for your specific device or setup. Also, that magisk module for rotation doesn't work anyways...

Give me full advice about it, and if there are mistakes, give me about it and how can I avoid it? Is it oneui? I do not speak English and I use the translator How can I get the most out of performance, battery life, the balance between them, and the highest number of frames in PUBG? Will this ROM meet my desire?❤❤

I would not go with this rom to be honest when it comes to gaming. I'd use Klaxosaur or other OneUI ROMs like TRR. Or if you really want to game on AOSP then go for LineageOS as it is one of the lightest on features. For kernel settings, set your cpu to performance governor on all cores and set min and max speed to the maximum available in the kernel frequency table. Max out your R/W on entropy then set your TCP/IP to Westwood. You can enable Zswap/Zram and KSM/UKSM too for possibly more performance at the cost of more battery. Try enabling Disable HW Overlays too in developer options at the cost of more battery also. All other kernel settings I mentioned can be changed in a kernel tweaking app, preferably hktweaks as it is built with exynos in mind.
THANKS FROM MY HEART❤❤

Another "tweaks" module?
Im going to give you my general outlook, dont take it personally, id post the same in any "tweaks" thread
For me its a no, because:
1) theyve mostly proven to be snakeoil, at best they cause issues or make devices slower
2) theres compiled binaries of god knows what "tweaks"we have no idea of the content of = security risk.
Without a browseable source of binaries and the "tweaks" contained, i wouldnt recommend anyone installing this.
Pretty much no one should be installing a tweaks module as something thats universal across devices or ROMs without knowing whats in there

You have to balance out what you think youre saving people from, and their right to know what your code is doing on their device. Its a balancing act. I personally wont run any compiled/obfuscated coded on my device, thats just my personally choice, others may have a different viewpoint, and thats their choice too
Going to try battery mode on my OnePlus Nord. )
I`ll feedback later

It's simple. I threw together this kernel out of necessity for micro lag fixes and better battery life.
Please expect only necessary updates.

If you use Evolution-X this will break Fsync toggle as I opted for Dynamic Fsync instead. Past that you tell me.
Please do not expect a ton of updates.
If you have an issue, logcat or GTFO.
There is no Telegram link.
Enjoy.

Been using this for a while and very happy with performance..
Works smooth like a criminal
Thanks for release.
Running on OOS 13.
I missed custom I/O schedules & TCP algorithms.
Great to see that you had set Zram compression to zstd algorithm.
Cannot wait to see your next release !

Ty dev for the kernel. Kernel is fine overall but scrolling performance could be a bit better.
Which device is your evo_defconfig for ?
I'm new to kernel building, just wondering .

This was actually an idea I had using EvoX for OP8T.

Thats probably because I use 300HZ timer interrupt frequency which I have no issue bumping to 1000HZ which Ill drop tomorrow for you all, along with a few minor changes.
I have updated the kernel. Addressing issue brought forth in the comments.
My camera doesn't seem to work . Everything else is doing great!

I missed that you were running stock. I probably should've mentioned that. This was only meant for custom ROMs. I am truly sorry I overlooked saying that.
Can u please try to add support for 9r. Coz both 8t and 9r are the same. Just some minor changes ig.

How big of a pain would it be to take the blobs ( if that is even what is needed ? ) From that release onto yours ?
Or are they completely different and non compatible since one being AOSP and other OOS?

This was based off EvoX's kernel. If they use it for the 9r as well it should work, but if it doesn't. Sure when I get time, I'll peek at it. The zip probably would fail but the boot.img would be fine. Just have a backup to flash if it fails.
Always nice when you pop in and bless us with some butter. Running great and thanks for your work as always
Does it work on OnePlus 8 Verizon (IN2019)? I am on Kaleidoscope Rom (Android 12).

Yes, I ran it on the IN2017 T-Mobile OnePlus 8 and it worked.
Unfortunately, I got rid of it because, as mentioned in the thread, FSync was replaced with Dynamic FSync. This prevents you from losing data if the screen is off, but not when it's on.

EDIT: use the boot.img and not the zip, the zip enables dynamic fsync
Fsync is enabled always, it only syncs while screen off if you enable it. Dont touch dynamic fsync and it remains as fsync on as always.
Im also testing a twrp build I made for oos13 firmware a13, all partitions should mount. EROFS. I dont keep up with everyones work, I dont think theres a recovery yet that has that possibility but I could be wrong.
Must be on op8t f15 firmware with a rom that uses erofs. You should be able to mount all partitions. If you want to test, you can get with me on telegram. I am only using TG due to the nature of this.
Testing twrp

Also heres v-1.2 of the kernel boot.img only not pre-patched

Only OOS atm? Pretty sure the evoX filesystem isn't erofs.
