Help neede, how to flash org rom on NON HardSPL?

Hi, I need some help.
I have a S730 without HardSPL. I understand that I can only flash it with signed original ROM from HTC. Does anyone know if there is anyone to download? I really need to get one on it because I can now get into my phone right now because of keyboard layout problem. Can't even unlock it to get activesync connection.
Stupid me, why didn't I applied the HardSPL completely.

You may use the Hardreset:
Phone off;
Press+hold both Softkeys (the ones on Display-bottom, left and right to the direction pad);
While holding Softkeys->Tap the Powerbutton (Only a short tap, dont hold the Powerbutton!Otherwise the Phone Boots normal...)
->a black Screen with one Question appears;Press 0 if you want to restore FactoryDefaultSettings...
This may help...

Click to collapse
It worked finally. I pushed the power button to long in my desperate attempt to hard reset.
You saved me, thanks a lot

long end key to lock device...

i've been looking to get my device to actually lock by holding the end key. after searching, the only thing i've found is the htc long end key. the thing is, i know there's the factory lock program on the phone because its there when i go to the programs tab of htc home. my question is, does ANYONE know where this icon is actually associated to? i'm trying to make a "long_end.ink" and direct it to that but i can't find it anywhere.

Screen Off

Hey guys,
I tried searching an answer for this question cudn't so here i am....im a starting developer and am new to android...for a basic appi want to be able to turn the screen off...is that possible ?
Thanks in advance
What do you mean, like put the phone into sleep mode? (lock screen upon pressing a button, like pushing the end key) or turn the screen off compeltely?
You can probably simulate the latter of those two by just making a black screen and have whatever processes you need to run, run in the background. Although it would help to know what this is for in the first place
oh im tryin to make like a timout app...just for begginer practice...so yea i want it to mimick wht it does when u press the end key... thnks for u quick response though..
Well, technically there's no way (unless possibly the phone was rooted, but still unlikely) to make anything behave like the end key, and if you did, you would probably get the phone to stick on the end key and not be able to turn the phone back on.
For beginner practice, I'd reccomend making a flashlight app, since that requires a few skills that you'll need in the future. Best not to jump into the big-guns stuff so quickly

[Q] Softkey Backlight Not Working

Hi,
like the title suggests the back-light for the softkeys do not turn on, is this a common problem? and is there something I can do about it?
the keys itself work and I don't know if this is related but the trackball is also red all the time.
Any help would be great thanks
kind regards
i don't know what rom you are on or if even rooted, but you can try this if possible--back up first

also there were some steps to cycle your auto/brightness setting on/off with powering down in between cycle--forget exact steps
may be other reasons--not sure

[Q] Keyboard Help Needed

Hey, everyone. I have a question about the hardware keyboard of the Droid 4. First, let me familiarize you with my problem. It's the same problem I had on the Droid 3, and now on my Droid 4. If you press two keys simultaneously, neither register at all for input, or only one of the keys will register. Now, this doesn't apply to all keys; it seems that you can simultaneously press keys and have both register as long as the keys are a sufficient distance apart physically. I'm sure there's a reason for this that I'm not aware of, besides the keys just being far apart. Also, you CAN hold one key and THEN press another and have them both register properly, but I'm trying to instantly press two keys simultaneously and get the proper response.
Is this a hardware issue or a software issue? I wonder if it is a limitation of Gingerbread, so if anyone is running an ICS ROM, could you test this for me? If you press the W and Q keys at the exact same time, do you get both letters? Try it with two fingers just to make sure you're pressing them simultaneously. If anyone can help me or provide information or a solution to this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.
Oh, and in case you are wondering, I want to be able to press two keys at once in order to play games using the keyboard more effectively.
EDIT: I've been messing around with the keyboard, and it seems like any two buttons can be pressed simultaneously as long as they aren't right next to one another physically. To me this suggests that there's some kind of feature on the hardware keyboard that prevents the user from accidentally pressing a button next to the one they intended to press, since the keys are so small. If that's the case, is there some way to disable this feature? I'm just making educated guesses at this point, hoping it isn't a hardware issue. Patiently awaiting a response...
Seems to work for me, I'm on AOKP.
BTW, many keyboards have this issue, even laptops and desktops. However in this case, the issue seems to be software...
Thanks a lot for the response, podspi. I plan to wait for the official ICS rom from Moto, so can you direct me to any possible resources that might fix the issue on my current ROM? I'm running the latest official firmware from Motorola.
Just tried it out, stock doesn't allow you to hit two buttons at once. I honestly really would recommend installing safestrap, and getting an ICS build like AOKP if this is really important to you.
There might be a way to get this functionality under stock GB, but I sadly have no idea where to even start with that
