I've been using a13 for a while now. For me it works without a problem. I did not notice any major errors

I've been using it here for around two weeks and battery lasts the same as on Android 12 in my case, and I couldn't find any big issues. Microphone seems to work fine here too, at least on calls.

I did the upgrade, seems all goes right, but, on device information, i read Realme UI 3.0 (!), Android Version 13, Build number RMX3311_11_C.06.
Clicking on "update control" i read Realme UI 4.0 | Android 13...
Is it maybe a transitional update, or what?

I've also updated to Android 13 and didn't had any issues. The things I didn't liked in Android 12 also persist in android 13, like bad automatic brightness in low light, the audio quality in videos recorded with the camera...

That's because the update was made before the realme UI 4.0 announcement. Future builds should have the correct name, but will be the same thing. (Right now you have realme UI 4.0 just with 3.0 naming).

thanks for providing such information :good:
support for custom sounds was already in our phones.. btw thanks for info
Just to clarify, there are v8-9 otas for h2os but are mostly minor updates. So, Oxygen os probably will not update until oreo.

Just wondering they do not update until Oreo It's not like the world stops before Oreo . The minor update you are talking about isn't that minor it is the most important one a security update.
so based on that benchmark scoring Im guessing H2OS is a bit more optimized for speed and battery?

Guess I'll give it a shot. Does this work with Franco Kernel? Anyone tried both at the same time?

I couldn't imagine O5 not getting at least one more update before Oreo hits. September patching is pretty big with fixing the blueborne exploit. I'd expect us to get that in the next few weeks

I'm talking about put your custom sound for notification not ringtone and without root.. There was no option for me, and there's a guy that had made an app to do this in the question & answers section

You were right. That's possible to change ringtone or sms tone but there's no option for custom notification sounds.:good:
After being on freedomos for a while and coming to hydrogen i have to say this is actually insanely fast and well optimized. This is the best android experience ive ever had. Each singular percent of my battery depletes so slowly i actually got sick of watching it for tests. I have my own set of tweaks i enjoy using on kernel adiutor and franco kernel (which works btw) that i can get an hour of SoT in 5-6%. Very nice without all the google extras i do believe that plays a major role in the battery saving as well as Franco
How do I get Google play store to work also do OOS based kernels work ? For example blu_spark ??
Hi! Someone has tried magisk on this ?

Android Oreo or Android Pie?

Hello!!!
I did not update myself to Pie. I tried to let me know from this forum first about any bugs or problems, but the opinions are divided. I do not have the smallest problem with Oreo and the battery autonomy is enviable. I would be sorry for such a major update to be problematic for Note9, a phone that works impeccably with Oreo. What experience do you have with Pie compared to Oreo and eventually deserves this update or expect to see better versions.
Thank you!!!

I have the exynos model. I mostly read the topic, some satisfied, some less, some had a bug, others had another considering that they were beta versions. I was interested in the experience after a time of using a final version. That opened and thead for downgrade. So there are still problems. Thanks for the answer!
I used all of the Beta updates and have been on the final update since release and it's been pretty good (For software made by Samsung) so far. For every 1 person complaining about One UI, there is probably 100 happy users.
The only bad thing for me is the fact they took the extra volume button on the call menu... And when getting a call and when speaking in loudspeaker the sound does not come from the top speaker.. So you kind need the extra sound boost...
Been using pie since my Pixel 2 XL and now on my Note 9! Wouldn't be with out pie!

Any news on K20 Pro China updates? Been 3 months, still on Nov security patch

Can't really blame the lack of updates on Luna New Year, Corona or 10 series release because Mi 9T Pro has received 2 updates since December, what's going on? Not even a scrap of news or rumor of a update anytime soon.

You'd think China rom would get updates more frequently given Xiaomi is a Chinese company but no, eea, global even Indian version Raphaelin k20 pro is getting updates but not us. It's disappointing, China rom imo is the best after debloating and if you ignore that space after apostrophe when using English and lack of security updates.

No it's not EOL, Xiaomi are still releasing regular beta Chinese ROMs for this phone. Unfortunately this is the same with almost all manufacturers, once the initial round of serious bugs have been fixed, stable branch updates come at a glacial pace. Even though Google have recently tried to tie in manufacturers to guaranteed updates for x years, in order to get Google certification, we still do not see this happening from most manufacturers beyond the first 6 -12 months. This is why I first started, with the original Samsung Galaxy S, and continue to use, custom ROMs.

Will installing a custom rom in Nokia 7 plus solve its bugs?

So i have been using Nokia 7 plus for almost 2 years now and it has gotten some crazy bugs over time. Its not just me but the rest of the communication is facing the same bugs and are waiting for an MR update which is no where to be seen. The phone is becoming really annoying to use so i was wondering that if someone would guide me regarding the matter if i decide to flash in a custom rom on my device. Will it take away the bugs as well? I am noob when it comes to flashing and stuff and i have never done it so i thought i might ask people's opinion before diving in!
There's a MR update on its way, maybe the last. It's supposed to get released mid April.
Audio bug in 3rd party apps fixed
Gcam works fine (not official, but like on 9)
Equalizer works on Spotify & Gaana
Found this info on Nokia community forum

You might need to visit service centre and request them to downgrade from 10 to 9.

Question How to enroll my 5a in the Android 12 beta?

Got home tonight and my new phone and case were waiting for me
Curious how do I enroll this phone in the Android 12 beta? I checked the Google beta page, and it only showed my old Pixel 4 XL on the list, which is already on the beta, not my new 5a as an option.
Does Google need to flip a switch or something to activate the 5a on their servers? Phones comes with the June security patch, and running system update doesn't find the latest update. And this phone is not on the Android beta 12 program yet, doesn't show up.
Wake up Google.
It looks like the 5a isn't supported yet which is a bummer.
I think they are looking at the overheating problem BEFORE they allow any BETA access. If you're running a BETA and the phone overheats it will be much harder to determine the actual cause. Better to fix it properly 1st.

My guess is we won't, cuz rumor has it they're close to a stable build now, if not already attained?
P.S.S. I think they have a stable, hence the 5a release & with Pixel 6's on deck!

That sounds right...I haven't had the heat-up scenario with my 5a but did on my 4a 5G and while beta banging! That would be tight if we get a crack at it soon, cuz you know a stable has got to be just around the corner with us getting into September and all?!
