[CLOSED][repair imei problem] Unlock blocked imei/replace blocked imei from all ISP Pixel 4 Flame A13 - Google Pixel 4 Guides, News, & Discussion

NOTE: Previously I warned that changing IMEI is an action that is prohibited in some countries, and it is a crime if it is not your device. USE IT AT OWN RISK!!!
before getting to the point I will explain how I got into trouble like this, at first I bought this pixel 4 under normal conditions, everything worked as it should, until when I realized something in the morning that my signal was lost, the ISP was read but could not be used to receive and send SMS as well as make calls, strangely when I changed to The other ISP is still working.
then I searched for info on the internet and I assumed that my Pixel 4 was imei blocked by one of the ISPs, not all of them. I have tried many ways to solve this problem but the results have never worked, until I found an idea what if I replaced my IMEI with the IMEI of my old device that was not blocked, and it worked.
First Remove sim card, download all the tools needed then follow my guide step by step if you want to succeed, let's go
{Mod edit. Oswald Boelcke}
I have tried this method and it works without any problems, you need to remember that IMEI will be blocked again if you do a factory reset.
If you don't understand or have something to add to this method, feel free to ask, I'd be very happy if I could help, let's discuss

I've always found these Qualcomm IMEI fixes to be really hard to stabilize, but thank you very much for posting this. I haven't ever tried QCN method before, so this should be interesting!

thank you, I just hope this helps you and someone else with their problem, and not to be abused.

I have a Samsung galaxy A13 which is IMEI locked can this method also work?

just try it, but remember to use it at your own risk, I recommend using a tool like the unlocked tool for Samsung, because the processor used by Samsung A13 is an exynos processor, while this method is for Pixel 4 which uses a Snapdragon processor, as long as it uses Snapdragon and can enter diag mode, I think all phones can use this method, but I doubt this method will work if using an exynos processor

Hi, how do I get the correct IMEI for Pixel 4? Do I just need to change 1 or 2 number randomly?

Hello and good afternoon, @Artemis008
It's indeed the case what you've stated in the note at the top of your OP: Edit or change of IMEI is illegal in quite a few of countries. For this reason, I've closed your thread and removed your instruction! XDA doesn't allow and doesn't accept discussions about or support for such an edit or change.

in such a great community is impossible that nobody has a nexus 6, i already contacted people via pm, im starting to panic :/ Any one help me please :/
Well, the problem with the persist image is that it contains DRM files along with the mac addresses of all the radios. People are likely leery because that stuff can be used to identify the device holder. That would explain why the same question went unanswered on here, Android Central, and Reddit. Plus, if the IMEI is stored somewhere in the files located in the persist partition, we would be cloning the IMEI, which is illegal.

before all id like to thank the user @ktmom for providing a copy of his persist image, about what you said, cloning imei is illegal only in some countries, besides, the imei can easily be rectified, and its way better than throwing the device to the trash, the copy that he provide me fixed all my sensors on the device. thanks a lot to this user, cause he did what a lot of people didnt, thanks.
Cloning the IMEI is illegal in the United States, as it falls under the umbrella of cell phone fraud. XDA is hosted in the United States, thus it is subject to United States law. Therefore, discussion of how to clone the IMEI is forbidden, regardless of the laws in your country.
Note: I highly doubt IMEI cloning is legal anywhere, but with 190+ countries in the world, who knows?
Yes, imei tampering period, is illegal in most areas, and not discussed on xda.
This has been a public service announcement. :good:

Unlock locked frp Huawei p30 pro..

Hey guys!
I'm sure there is a lot of posts like this one but I couldn't find the right one so if someone finds it please share
So my problem is that my dad bought a Huawei p30 pro (Vog-l29) and little did he know about the google account.. I did a factory reset and now I'm stuck.. Any ideas how to fix it?
I'm far from pro in doing stuff like this but I'm familiar with a lot of ways so if some one with more experience could just point me in the right direction with names of programs and files I would be very thankful! I've read a lot of ways to do it but then they mention that it won't unlock it.. I have a USB cable for it and a Windows computer, do I need something else?
Would really appreciate some help!
Thanks in advance!
Ask your father his password and 'voilà'.. You'll be good to go!

Funny one! The Google account belong to the seller.. Didn't think that was hard to get, so yeah asking my dad won't help.
Please can I get some helpful answers..
LoL you're welcome (^_-)
Usually, looking for frp bypass means a lot things...
If not, just try 'frp' on the search bar, there's subjects about.
And, of course, you could also go to an official repair center : they'll unlock it for you.

Yeah I get that, it might be hard to believe randoms here but in this case the phone isn't stolen.
I've already tried to search around but I don't get everything I read about it, like I said I'm far from pro in this area.
Would really appreciate some help to fix this..
Hi. I guess the easiest way is to flash the factory image to the phone.
Look here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...orial-vog-l29-flash-firmware-153-usb-t3928793
When I flash new firmware my Google account is gone and I have to enter my information to start the phone with my account.
Its not that hard to flash the firmware. Follow The guide.

You must have online emails and ebay or whichever site you used logs from the sale/purchase, phone number of the seller had to come from somewhere
How did you pay for it? Bank transfer/Paypal, both have paper trails/logs of the seller
Find it hard to believe you have 0 proof of purchase and 0 methods of contacting the seller

I know, my dad didn't know about this, he thought it was like the old days when people still were honest..
Probably doesn't matter anyway, even if you did get back into it, if it is stolen it will soon be IMEI blacklisted and be useless as a phone in your country
Thread cleaned up a bit.
First of all, xda does allow threads regarding FRP bypass as long as it's clearly not for illegal purposes.
Second, if you think it IS for illegal purposes, report it! Don't reply as if you are a Moderator of this site or flame the member. This could land you in hot water.
I'll quote some of the rules here since it's MY job to do so:

10. Help others if you can.
If you see posts from others where you can help out, please do so. This place exists because people are helping each other, and even if you are relatively new to the matter, there's probably quite a few people with less experience than you, who could benefit from what you've learned. Don't be shy.

I think this is where the confusion is coming from, there seems to be different rules per device forum
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76762598&postcount=7
Having been Samsung for years I've had it drummed into my head that 'any' talk of FRP bypassing is against XDA rules

Thanks but that post is actually incorrect. I assure you we do allow them unless it's clearly breaking the law. It all stems from the introduction of FRP when devices were being sold without the Google account being properly removed. Many users found themselves in this exact situation. They purchased a device that had been simply factory reset. Which was enough before the introduction of FRP but now when they set up their newly purchased device, they are asked for the previous owner's password.
Therefore xda has allowed these threads as well as the actual methods of bypass to be posted. There are legitimate uses.

FRP Lock on A71 bought for daughter, Help Please

Good day to all,
I still have my A71 and so does my other half.
We don't use frp etc as I'm always in control with security etc.
BUT recently bought an A71 aka A715 on one ui 13 and I didn't pay attention stupidly as was rushing to get back to work, buying during lunch.
Anyhow, come to email part of it and it says I need to log in with email.
Amazingly seller blocks me.
I know an older phone but it's immaculate and little ones first phone being 10.
I have done to no avail many attempts on unlocking, but can not get debugging option.
Any wise words from many of helpful members on here that possibly has an answer.
Best wishes

This is not entirely true. So long as members are not admitting to any wrong doing, or other members offering paid services for "FRP" unlocks, then we give our members the
benefit of the doubt to seek a solution to their problem.
There have been several occasions where XDA Mods have made a mistake, and have had to circumvent "FRP" in order to regain access to their device.
Therefore, this discussion may continue.
-Regards: Badger50
If you have a computer, you can probably install Samsung USB Drivers and use SamFw to FRP unlock it. This is what i've seen people do but I genuinely don't know if it work.
I wish you luck.
(edit: I just noticed you said you tried FRP unlocking but to no avail. try maybe reflashing stock fw?)
I have flashed fresh firmware being latest.
But it appears where I have to sign in with the account used.
I assume was ex contract?
Personally we only use pay as go, always have, thus the assumption.
Tried the Samsung frp tool and looked at numerous videos.
The issue is when to press ok in the adb debugging. After test screen.
At this point, no message pops up.
Maybe I'm doing something incorrectly, it it's due to being on android 13?
Would it be a good idea to fresh flash Android 12 as there'd be more success?
Best wishes and thank you for allowing the thread to continue, it's much appreciated

I have good experience with FRP bypass, have bypassed several devices. I have worked in a phone repair shop. The bypass method depends on the Android version and security patch level. Most of the tutorials are outdated, and most free bypass tools won't even work. Also, there are some paid ones that also do not support all versions or all Samsung models.
If you see a tutorial for your device on a specific Android version or security, then you need to downgrade the version using Odin, if it is possible, because sometimes you cannot downgrade to a lower binary.
Also, progeeksblog has written an in-depth guide with all the possible solutions and, at the same time, provides an unlock service.

The bootloader hasn't changed since Android 11 atleast for my CSC. I don't know for others. I do know that XEO has 11 on the same BL ver and people say XEO is very reliable. You can try that.
Well,
Can say a massive thank you, frp removed.
