Question Sometimes alarm has no sound in silent mode - Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

Hi, sometimes I will put my phone on silent and on a couple of occasions, I have been awake when my alarm is due to go off, and the screen changes to the alarm screen and has the slider to turn it off, but there is no sound at all.
Most of the time there is, but I wonder why sometimes there isn't.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I have checked the alarms, and they all have the volume set to full.
Regards
James

It happened to me too. Today too. I would like to understand if there is a issue or I am to switch off the alarm while sleep

problem with alarms

Hallo,
I seem to have the following problem with WM5.
it happens sometimes that the alarm rings, however the notification message does not appear and I can't turn the alarm off. So it keeps ringing a lot of time, even if I disable alarms and notifications. If I turn off the volume (which is not a solution anyway) it still vibrates. Also, the red light in the upper right corner keeps on flashing. Soft resetting the device doesn't solve the problem: after reloading, the alarm is still ringing.
I have 3 alarms that are set to ring at an interval of 10 minutes, like 7 am, 7.10 am, 7.20 am.
It looks like this happen when the third alarm rings and the device is turned off.
Has anyone experienced the same problems?
any clue?
thanks

Device sleeps while alarm running

When I set an alarm, the alarm goes off. I have set it up to repeat, but the problem is that while the alarm is playing, the device will got to sleep after one minute even if the alarm didn't finish playing. Shouldn't the device not go to sleep while the alarm is running? If so how?
Thanks.
Anybody help?
Seems like normal behavior for me...
Um does the phone go to sleep? Mine just blanks the screen and everything runs good.
Well, I've already missed alarms in the morning because I've fallen asleep again seconds after hearing the alarm, and it for sure doesn't insist very long before going to sleep too...

problem with alarm?

when i put it to sleep mode, the alarm doesn't sound..it seem that the alarm cuts out in sleep mode..is there any tweak for this issue because i've been searching the internet and found that i'm not the only one with this problem?..
if there is no tweak,is there any freeware software that allow alarm to ring in sleep mode?..
i really need help because i'm kinda new to PDAs...

What do you mean putting the Diamond into sleep mode? I only suspend the Diamond by pressing instead of press and hold the power button. The alarm will sound at set schedule. Software like alarm running in background needs Windows mobile to be in suspend mode in order to work.
what i mean is pressing the power button..when you press it once,it will turn off the screen and put it to sleep mode...if you press and hold it,it will turn off the device..2 different things there..i know that the alarm will sound, but try waiting for it sleep again and the alarm wont continue to repeat again eventhough i checked the option of repeating the alarm in the settings..this means that if you set the alarm..alarm will sound but when the device go back to sleep mode,it wont sound anymore..

sorry...accidentally posted too much...dont know how to delete
Make sure your phone isn't silent or set to vibrate only because it won't ring in either of these two cases- the ringer has to be on- also make sure you check the appropriate days of the week that you want it to ring on.
I have the same problem
In particular, I put alarm and it does not sound HOWEVER reminder (5 minutes later) sounds OK
I have checked already all setting I could find. phone is not in silent mode (again reminder sounds OK)
What is also strange I do not have settings of sound for alarm. I have one for reminder but not alarm...
Does anybody else have this problem?
Any ideas regarding solutions?

HD7 bugs with alarmclock?

Is anyone else experiencing these bugs?
This usually happens after an alarm has went off or if i have not noticed that one has been going off.
* The bottom speaker just turns off, no sound is received. So i'll get a phone call and i answer but no one can hear me, reboot fixes the issue but wtf.
* just 10 min ago the alarm went off to remind me of something and i hit dismiss and the phone went back to the main tiles. I tried to lock the phone and it didn't do anything. I hit the back button and nothing happened, i then try to navigate and the screen is frozen. Live tiles are still moving but no input is read. The power button doesn't work as well, i had to pull the battery.
Anyone have these problems?
I have the same issue about the alarm. I have multiple alarm setup and then if one of them alarms go off and i didn't turn it off the screen just froze, there is no input from the touchscreen but the tiles are working. I guess it is a bug in the programming that disables the touchscreen if the alarm that goes off wasn't turn off.
Hopefully this is fixed with the rumored update on thursday.
Alarm Bug
+1 with the alarm bug. Hope the software update fixes the poor sound level as well, as a working alarm would be nice but a working alarm that i can hear is much better
+1
Same problem
I use Nokia X2 for alarm clock
Alarm Problems
I use an app called Nightstand clock from the Marketplace. The sound of the alarm tones is much louder than wp7 alarm tones. Give it a try it hasn't let me down yet & more importantly has never froze. It can even run under the lockscreen. It hasn't affected the sound on my HD7 either.
Well i have the same problem and for now i download alarm clock 7 and only works if the phone its not lock cause in lock status the alarm does not sound.
I also have this problem
alarm goes off, and if i don't hit dismiss and let it run, the mic gets turned off
grrr
+1, i am also having the same issue
+1, i am also having the same issue.
I have HTC HD7

[Q] Note makes harsh alarm sound but no alarm set and no way to cancel?

Hi all,
Randomly my galaxy note makes a very harsh alert sound, as if an alarm has been set but the noise it makes is not one of the available alarm tones and there is no way to stop it, no alarms are set and no alarm notification in the notification bar and no alarm snooze screen is displayed when it goes off.
There's no pattern to it, it just happens at random but never when the phone is sat idle, only ever when I am using it. If I reboot the phone it continues to make the sound, the only thing I can do it turn down the ringer volume and eventually it will stop on its own.
I thought it may be some kind of overheat warning as the first time I experienced it the phone was quite warm but its happened several times now when the phone has been cold, that said it must be some kind of hardware warning because when the phone is rebooted, the sound starts even before android is booted.
Any ideas?
I don't spose someone registered, or could have registered your device with a service such as lookout?
I know they can remotely activate alarms similar to what you describe with the only way to deactivate it to turn the phone off.
Just a thought?

Extremely unlikely, I've had the phone just a few months from new in a factory sealed box and the phone is never out of my sight. Thanks for the suggestion though
