Question Media Volume reduces after some time from alone by 20% - Samsung Galaxy S23

Hey i got the S23 256GB Version.
The problem i have is that after a while it reduces the media volume by 20% from alone. I cant find any settings where to turn this off. My data got migrated from a S21 but i dont have any app that would play with volume.
Any ideas?

Maybe something related to the battery or do not disturb option putting the volume to 20%?
In Sounds&vibration/Volume/ the three dots button shows "Media volume limit". Maybe related to that? When you connect headset/Bluetooth gear.

Bluetooth works great... but after some time idle the media volume goes down .... plus what i noticed is the call volume on the speaker is not as loud as the phone can deliver media on the loudest setting

HD7 : Volume Speaker TERRIBLE

Hi, is there a way to increase the ring volume of the HD7? My wife has her volume set to 10, and when it rings in her purse she can barely hear it. I've tried downloading the HTC app with the "increase volume when in purse" setting but this seems not to help at all. In fact, even at 10 all the sound on this phone is quite low, for example the Netflix app can only be heard in a dead quiet room. For comparison, ithe "10" setting on her HD7 seems to be about the same as "2" on my Dash 3G... All help appreciated. Thank you,

But yes, it seems the speaker is quite low. I think some people think it's a software fault, and it will be fixed in the update. I don't know personally, mine seems loud enough

You keep saying she has it set on 10 when I can set mine to 30? Maybe that's why her 10 seems like a 2 to you?
On the lock screen, up volume up. You should see the volume indicator in the top left. Crank it to 30. Should be plenty loud.
when you are talking on the phone the volume only goes up to 10. however, when you are at the homescreen you can put the volume up to 30.
"In-Call" volume controls the volume of the ear-piece speaker located in the grill at the top of the phone, and yes it will only go up to 10.
The volume which goes up to 30 which you can adjust whilst on the home screen controls the external Speaker located on the back of the phone (which is used for ringtones, etc.)
They are 2 completely seperate speakers so in turn have their own volume controls.

[Q] Some issues with ME572C

I have not yet had this tablet for a week, and already I have discovered a few problems with it, that I am hopeful can be fixed.
1. No audio when making calls in Viber. The receiver can hear me fine, but I cannot hear them, or even the ringing for that matter.
2. Unable to answer incoming calls in Viber. I slide the circle to the right to answer, but nothing happens.
3. Pandora Radio stops streaming after about 30 seconds of the screen turning off, or the current song ending.
4. Slacker Radio stops streaming after about 30 seconds of the screen turning off, or the current song ending.
Regarding issues 3 and 4, I do have WIFI set to stay on during sleep and the WIFI optimization is turned off.
Anybody else having these issues?
Any suggestions to try and eliminate them?
I don't know about 1 and 2, but 3 and 4..
Yes, not only pandora, but also spotify. I think there is an issue with deep sleep and streaming. I almost want to say that you need to stream out bluetooth while connected to wifi to have it happen a lot.
The workaround for me was to activate one of the daydream modes. I think this only helps if your plugged in (charging). However, no more music dropouts.

I agree. It is deep sleeping when it should not be. I will give your solution a try and see it it works for me.

Have you disabled the smart saving features completely? I had an issue where it was losing a connection with a different app, and it improved when I disabled the smart saver feature.

I was just using google play music and was streaming from my collection the other day and did not have this problem, I don't normally use the two services that you listed. I may try one later today or tomorrow to see if I can reproduce what you are seeing...
I am chasing a problem with the tablet becoming non-responsive to the touch screen occasionally. Typically it does still respond to the buttons when this happens and I can push the power button to turn the screen off and then back on to make the screen get responsive again. I have started removing certain software to see if it causes my issue to go away...
Intel android seems to still have a few "teething" issues however my ME572C sure is a nice little tablet...
Added later:
I have a set of apps that I have yet to narrow down the cause but after removing them my screen response issue appears to be gone...
I just tested Slacker Radio and I have in the Power Saver app disabled power saving completely and did not disconnect. I am running the latest Asus software on my ME572C which ends in 31.
Has anyone had problems with the volume rocker. I just got mine yesterday and it will turn the volume up, just not down... Weird. But other than that everything is good and the lollipop update rocks!

Blutooth volume goes up and down by itself when playing music

Anyone having an issue with the Bluetooth volume going up and down when playing on a Bluetooth device? My volume goes up and down by itself? Not huge increasing but enough to become annoying.
Anyone else?

Mine seems to drop to where the red starts, like the warning for turning it up pops up and I am able to turn it past that but then it goes back down... It is still plenty loud enough but yeah I have noticed it tool, as far as it going back up and down on its own I have not seen that.
Same here! Got my Note5 32gb Black on release day 21st Aug. Day 2, I noticed the volume going up/down while streaming Bluetooth from my car. I did a couple of factory resets due to unrelated stuff. Since then I haven't notice the volume going up/down while streaming Bluetooth.

Thanks Ill try that
Its damn annoying lol
My note 5 - 32 GB is doing that on Bluetooth in the car, on my Bluetooth speaker and on the wired earphones. Very annoying. I am about to take it back as it seems like the volume is on a yo-yo. Any fixes other than the multiple factory resets as that seems like a major pain since I spent so long setting up all my apps and preferences.
I may have fixed this issue. I had the same problem both before and after I enabled SoundAlive+ and volume normalization.
I went to settings/sounds and notifications/sound quality and effects.
Clicked Adapt Sound, and went through the setup process. This seemed to cure the problem.
SoundAlive+ is turned off at this time. Not sure if I turned it off or the system did. Either way, I'm not turning it back on for fear the issue will return.
Hope this helps.

Hello. That is not an issue. It's a priority for notifications. Even my old P9 does that while listening to music or watching a video on youtube. It does that so you can notice the notification. I also have an Asus Zenfone 3 with android Oreo, does the same.
I think you can change this from settings, but did not look too much into it.
I think you can disable this for the app you want by going to settings/apps/youtube (or music,or any other app you want to keep its volume) and then "notification management",then choose priority display.
I did not test this,I am at work and can't try it right now.
I restarted my phone and it is now like it should be I suppose.
Youtube gets "silenced" for a second when I get notification and then it return to its original Volume.

Question Galaxy Buds Pro & S21 Ultra

As the title suggests I use Galaxy Buds Pro with my S21 Ultra. I noticed after the latest firmware update (I did a clean install) that the max volume is pitiful all of a sudden. I've been right through every setting etc but cannot get them anywhere near the volume that they were before. Anyone noticed this or got any solution perhaps?

I did find the solution. Turns out they have their own seperate volume. Whats required is to open the wearables app, and make sure that touches are not blocked. Then insert the buds in your ears and hold your finger on the right hand bud. You'll hear a faint beeping sound, just keep holding it until the volume doesnt go up any further. Then they will be back to normal and you can control volume as per normal using the media buttons on the phone.
