Question Galaxy Watch Pro ECG and blood pressure workaround? - Samsung Galaxy Watch 5

Hi
I am form Mexico, I just bought the warch and I remember reading a few days back that there was a workaround for the ECG and Blood Pressure apps not being available, and it was here, I thought that I had bookmarked it but cannot find it anywhere, anyone knows about the workaround?
Thanks!

See this thread for link.
How to get ECG and BP GW5
How does one get the app to download and activated for ECG and BP? When I try and activate it from the watch my Samsung Galaxy A52 says it's not available in my region.

Oculus on non 2015 Samsung devices

Does anyone know if the kernel is what is required to run Oculus, or is a ported ROM sufficient? Looking at the possibility of dedicating an old S5 to being a Gear VR device, but I don't want to buy Oculus Gear VR if there is no way to make that work.
Anyone tried? Sorry in advance if this is a redundant thread. I've seen various questions answered regarding compatibility, but no concrete answer on what the Oculus stuff is tied to.

Another lesser device gets the MM treatment.

Tab A has got its update, not even a flag ship device.
Still nowt for the Tab S.

Flagship means nothing to Samsung.
Maybe I'm just in denial (feels like it to be honest), but I refuse to accept (for now at least) that we won't be getting MM. I must remain hopeful...:crying:
So does Samsung seem to release updates to the newest phone/tablets first and then work backwards with the oldest being last if at all.
John.
We will get it soon

I have a Note 4 and the Tab S and I tell you these will be my last Samsung devices! No updates on supposed flagship devices is abysmal! Next phone will be a Nexus and probable their tablet too.
i recall seeing a chart somewhere, was that just bogus ?
There were a couple of unofficial photo/lists the first had the Tab S1 8.4" getting MM from April, the second photo showed NO Tab S1 models at getting updated to MM, these are now very old and should not be relied on.
I think the Tab S1 will get updated to MM in the next couple of months.
John.
By the time the Tab S gets MM the AOSP build will have matured enough for daily use

However all Samsungs modifications and alterations will have completely fudged that up.

Look at the Tab Pro 8.4. It was released 11 months before Lollipop came out but never got Lollipop!
I have Tab A and Tab S , I was not expecting any update at all for Tab A!.Some one has to shake and wake sammy up and tell them they skipped few stops where they supposed to...
Contacted Samsung Support and only got this

Dear [removed],
Thank you for contacting Samsung. With reference to your E-mail, I understand that you would like to know whether Samsung will release the Android Marshmallow update for your Tab S (model: SM-T700NTSAXAR). I can imagine how bothering and inconvenienced this would have been. Currently, there is no new update: Marshmallow available for your tablet model. We at technical support are not able to speculate the estimated time period of the update release and exact version of the update as it may lead to incorrect estimation of the update release information, also there is no official word available to state about the update availability . However, once any new update is released, it will be notified on the tablet in Apps > Settings > About device > Software Update. You can also check for the new Software update notification information on Samsung website under News section. I hope you understand. Please refer to the link below to access Samsung News website:
http://www.samsung.com/us/news/
The update time will be varied from model to model and location to location. I understand how important the update is for you. Usually, the updates will be released in batches. Once the new update is released for the batch to which your tablet belongs, then your tablet will also receive the update notification.
Also, I see that there is no test or app available from Samsung to test or run the battery function. I hope you understand.

I got that from them when asking about 5.1 god knows how long ago (8 months?). The don't give a toss. Samsung Support does not exist. You might as well ask a man/woman on the street.
Galaxy S5 gets MM , fingers crossed .. http://www.ubergizmo.com/2016/05/t-mobile-rolls-out-marshmallow-for-galaxy-s5-handsets/
The Tab S was realeased 2-3 months after the S5 so Samsung cannot say it`s to old.

If they don't release a mm update to a flagship device it will be a shame. But I think that they probably will release it. Just my opinion.

Yea but Samsung doesn't care about how old these things are...
The Tab Pro 8.4 was released in Jan 2014, and never got lollipop that was released in Dec 2014... in other words, they stopped support after 11 MONTHS!

Samsung Pay on GALAXY Note9 SM-N960F/DS

Has anyone managed to get Samsung Pay working on their international GALAXY Note9 SM-N960F/DS in the US? I bought one keeping future updates and flexibility in mind but I can't get Samsung Pay working on AT&T. When I launch Samsung Pay, I get a connection error 'Unable to connect to Samsung Pay temporarily. Try again later". Someone had posted an APKMirror link in one of the threads that seemed to work but I'm a bit reluctant on using an unofficial APK source. Would appreciate any assistance from anyone who managed to get this working. Thanks
Yes
That's great to hear... would you be kind enough to send me instructions to get this working? Thanks in advance.
I have no idea. I have a US model.

But he was specifically asking about the F/DS model...as per OP.

I know what he was asking for. He asked if he can get Samsung Pay working on a N960F/DS in the US. I've read threads here where others have done just that, so I told him "yes" it was possible.
He then asked how to accomplish it, and I told him I have no idea how to do it, since I have the US model. Basically I have no reason to research and figure out how to make it work on a F/DS.

How to install ECG

Just got the watch today. I cant tell if there is a way to get ECG installed with the new updated Samsung Health app? Can anyone point me in a direction?
Thanks!
There's already a thread on this topic. There you'll find all info. If using the ECG function has not been released for you country yet, you'll need a trick.

New GW3 (US), latest software, missing Blood Pressure (BP)

Hi everyone, I just purchased a galaxy watch 3 from Samsung (US version). I have updated to the latest firmware and connected to Note 20 (US version). I am able to measure ECG from Samsung Health Monitor but no blood pressure anywhere from phone or watch. Do anybody know why ?
Anybody can help ?
Three Options:
1) add BP.. read the forum. There are threads to add BP and Samsung Health Monitor.
2) change your region to Brazil or Korean.. There are threads in the forum to change your region.. Please note you may loose some Samsung Pay capabilities
3) wait for Samsung to add BP.
I think the reason you not getting any input to your inquiry is because there are existing threads.
