Unlock OEM option not available under developer settings SM-G973F/DS, only when connected to internet? - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

Hello all,
I have a SM-G973F/DS (sold in EU) which has not been connected to the internet yet and no SIM card has been installed. Why? I would like to install a privacy friendly custom rom (IodéOS), and do NOT want to connect the device to internet, before I have installed IodéOS, and tweaked it.
But I need to unlock OEM under Developer Setting, but there is no option (not even greyed out). I have manually flashed the latest stock firmware with Odin (March 2023). I read about setting the date back one month later to enable it but this only works with connecting the phone to internet? I would like to unlock OEM offline.
Fastboot is not supported by Samsung, so
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
wiil not work.
Is there another method to do this offline? Thanks

can you flash a rom without OEM unlock on/quick way to activate OEM?

So, this is basically a followup to my last night post.
Im running into a wall because OEM unlock isn't showing up in my developer options. There used to be something you could do with the date and time settings and whatnot to work around the week period for it. Is there either a quick way to work around that week wait period, or any way to flash a new firmware without OEM unlocking?
OEM unlock "Should" only be needed for unsigned updates like LineageOS. Official updates should work.

Oem Unlock

Hello.
I have few question.
At XDA, i saw solution for oem unlock with changing date. It worked at first time, oem unlock option is shown. after that, i flashed twrp and then root. everythings seems fine to when i reboot my phone.
i got error that say "only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed" and went for bootloop. I install original firmware and it is fixed.
but now even at bootloader shows oen and frm lock's off, there is no option for oem unlock. the changing date method isn't working and i cant flash twrp or sth other non-original samsung things.
so why i can't flash anything now even if oem and frm lock is shown off at bootloader?
is oem unlocking the only way for flashing twrp?
Thank you.
hi.. i have an galaxy g950fd,
im currently using the last firmware without brand in my contry (zto) its G950FXXU4CRKB
when you reset, the oem unlock are hidden for 7 days.
what i do is:
01 - get develop option and mark usb bebbuging and unmark check usb instalation....
02 - put your data on manualy, and set to 10 days "ago"
03 - go to update, and click on manualy update ( it ll show that you are on the newest firmware)
04 - reboot your phone, it will go back to correct date and time..
05 - go to develop options and the oem unlock will be there!!!
i used this walktrouth by youtube "watch?time_continue=2&v=W_E8X5KBZ20"
now that i have helped... i had an issue!!!
with this new firmware... 8.0 G950FXXU4CRKB
when i install twrp, RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa and magisk 18
then it boot ok. BUT, when reboot.. BAM!
soft brick with the message "only official released binaries are allowed"
so my rmm didnt worked.. how can i bypass this?!?!
anyone has a new rmm? please!!

Locked OEM (grayed out)

So, i did some stupid things while installing a new rom on my phone.
I didnt made a backup, and my EFS folder got bananas so i couldnt access any network.
So i went back to stock rom (XT1900-6) then i used the command to relock the bootloader (i really dont know why i did it)
And in the end it didnt solved the EFS/IMEI problem and now i am in a unlockable ROM.
I read that some cases can be reverted by flashing android Oreo then updating to Pie. But i cant flash anything at all because the option to OEM unlock is grayed out in the developer settings and the fastboot oem unlock UNIQUE_KEY wont work (i got the key on the website btw)
I tried different forums, different commands, but none worked.

Which v40 do I have and is my bootloader unlocked?

Hi, I recently purchased a used v40 online and I'm trying to figure a couple of things out:
1) Which exact model / variant it is
2) Whether or not the bootloader is unlocked.
I'd like to upgrade to the latest OS update for it, but the Android update check suggests it is running the latest version. I'd also like to install TWRP and root with Magisk.
In terms of OS version, here is what I know:
1) There is no external carrier branding on the device (ie. no Verizon or Sprint logos)
2) It is running Android 8.10 with December 2018 security patches.
3) It is running build number OPM.171019.026
4) It is running Software version V405UA11d
5) Even after a factory reset there are no carrier apps, only Google apps / services.
Anything else I should check to know which exact model it is so I know which version of the latest ROM I should flash?
In terms of boot loader unlocking, this is what I know:
1) In developer options I am able to enable both OEM Unlock as well as USB Debugging.
2) I can connect to the phone in adb mode
3) I can boot to recovery and download mode, but can not get it to boot into bootloader mode (if I run adb reboot bootloader (or select reboot to bootloader from recovery) it just boots normally back into Android.
Yours is the UA as i see it says in the softwre but yet it might be an AT&T because you cant recieve updates unless using their sim card meaning that if you font then youll get messeges that its updated. You can forget about bout pie if you play games and use hevy social media on you phone because pie is slow on the v40. In terms of root and bootloader unlock try this, although i havnt tried it. https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v40/development/unlock-lg-v40-via-9008-root-t-mobile-t4042207

Get the Rescue and Smart Assistant on your computer, connect your phone and put the IMEI for SIM1 on the box that the phone came with. This might work. Make sure you also have the Motorola Edge 20 USB drivers installed.

Does your smartphone at least still work? Enable USB debugging in the developer settings, that might enable OEM unlocking. If it doesn't, I really don't know how to help. Sometimes manufacturers lock the phone so that it cannot be rooted.
Enabling usb debugging does not enable OEM unlock unfortunately ,
