terminal emulator pro works like a charm.... for the first time it gives you an option of allowing the request once or always or deny .... very well compiled
couldn't check wifi now....
its really fast & i couldn't believe that i am running it on my tattoo...
will check apps2sd & will let you know.... thanks paul. you made a very good contribution here.... waiting for 2.1 based ROM....

A2SD coming up soon, optional via the MoDaCo Online Kitchen.
I forget to mention that this ROM also moves your system dalvik-cache only to /cache... freeing up more data space for your, er, data and apps.
P
and what about the flash?
do I simply have to flash the update.zip through the recovery without a wipe?
in this way will I save the applications and configurations as it was just an update?
Correct. Flash update zip via a modified recovery, no wipe needed.
P
Paul give us app2sd on your next release...i need it as soon as possible...please
i don't wont to stress paul...his is the best work i've seen right now

paul i read in your site that I may have a problem with flashing because my rom is an official rom and not a custom rom? what do you suggest to me?

Afternoon everyone!
I've put this ROM up for everyone to have a play with while I try and resolve an issue. This ROM has the MCR build optimisations, my custom kernel and other good stuff, however I seem to be having issues remounting and writing to the /system partition, which is scuppering Dropbear for the ROM. While I investigate this, enjoy!

First I want to thank you for your work
I don't understand only a thing: with the phrase quoted above are you saying that i can't remount in rw /system and write in it? Why? Any workaround?
Thank you

Theoretically yes any 2.32 kernel should work however everyones phone handles kernels differently. I would suggest staying with Hydra he is a very reputable dev and has been making quality kernels for a while now.

Hey Lou,
Can you crank the clock down to at least 1113?
My Dinc can't handle the 1115. It keeps bootlooping...and I'm really tired of hearing "Droid"...
Thanks,

My goal was to slim this Rom down as much as possible. Overall performance is directly impacted by the removal of bloatware, zipaligned apk's and ocuv kernel. This is how I like my rom it may not necessarily be how everyone likes it the beauty of XDA is choices .

You can drag and drop them on to your SD card then navigate to them using ES File Explorer. As far as the apk's go when you try to install them you'll be prompted to allow "unknown sources" just check the box return to your SD card and install which ever ones you like. If you put the wallpapers onto your SD card and open the gallery app it will automatically find them for you and you can select them as wallpapers from there.
Sweet!!!

You can connect your phone to your computer via usb mount the phone as a disk drive then drag and drop them either on your SD card or put them on the Internal Storage. Trust me once you either open the gallery or try using the "wallpaper mechanism" the phone will detect the pictures you just added.

which version are you running the 1.15 or 1.113 ghz and are you using setcpu?
I thought Wireless Tether didn't work properly on 2.2. Isn't it ad-hoc only? The ##778 modification seems to work well from what I have heard for Hotspot.

I am using the 1.113 Kernel. I do not own a copy of SetCPU. My understanding was that the processor in the incredible was not able benifit from overclocking. Plus I don't want to kill my battery.
Also I can't seem to get Wireless Tether to work. The first time I launched it I got an FC. Now the app will launch but when I try to activate it I get a FC. Anyone get Wireless Tether working?

NOTE:
You MUST WIPE YOUR DEVICE before flashing this ROM UNLESS you are upgrading from an earlier release. This is due to the resigning of key components with the AOSP platform key, to facilitate skinning / customising etc.
Features at this time:
Based on the GRJ22 (2.3.4) release
Packaged for ClockworkMod 3.0.0.0+
Rebuilt using the MoDaCo MCR optimisation scripts
Includes MCK custom kernel with TUN and CIFS modules
Incorporates supercurio's EXT4 performance tweak
Full up to date Google experience + additional apps (including new look Market)
HSPA icon differentiation ('H' icon when transferring data via HSPA)
Insecure boot image
su / Superuser.apk root
Support for running scripts from /etc/init.d at startup
Terminfo support (for nano etc)
Busybox
Optional 'allow SIP over non-WiFi connections' in the kitchen
Semi-transparent notification pull-down
Optional 'Spare Parts' app
Optional radio updates (latest update recommended!)
Removed Browser zoom buttons
framework-res and core libraries / apks are signed with the 'platform' certificate from AOSP, aiding those who wish to edit the framework-res / SystemUI.apk to theme. Simply extract, edit, resign with the platform certificate and push the file.
A bunch of other stuff that i've forgotten
Installation is recommended via ClockworkMod recovery, which MUST be version 3.0.0.0 or above. ENSURE YOU HAVE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING!
Downloads
This ROM is now available in the online kitchen! In addition to the kitchen, a prebaked download is available.

Future Updates - READ THIS!
By providing this ROM I am not implying in any way that future updates will follow. Due to limits on my time and the fact that I have a large number of devices for short periods of time, it isn't possible for me to continue providing ROM updates indefinitely. where is the other custom rom?
Just flashed. Seems to be working well. Thanks for your work and looking forward to future updates. I have a question as well. I was prompted with the software update from google? Should I install, or will this tamper with the functionality of the rom?
Thanks.

Lol i just got stuck in a bootloop by trying to use the zune font from the other thread, luckily just adb in recovery and sorted stuff out
Is there anyway to get the zune font working on this rom tho? I really like it!
If I back up with Rom Manager and wipe before flashing this, will it delete my backup too?
+1

Quick question, with my evo whenever I flashed a custom rom, I would backup my current rom, wipe everything (data and cache) then I'll flash the new rom.
Is this process the same for the Nexus S?

Edit: Home button wasn't working after I flashed the ROM, however a quick reboot fixed the issue.

Hello,
Can you write a list of HTC apps that have been removed?
Thanks in advance!
Can't really remember exactly but I'll try to list them down.
A deodexed version for the themers would be nice if not then still nice rom.

It would be nice, but it also wouldn't be "Leaf" anymore because it would be crunching phone memory and slightly slower.
I'm sorry but themers should use WildPuzzleROM instead.
just the uploading is some how slow
its at home, thanks. going to test

Really good work. Tested all roms and this one is my favorite one. Some things can be improved:
- hotspot don't work
- change lock screen not possible
Thanks!

This is a boring rom, and i am getting bored of the wildfire. Where is the creativity devs, we need a variety. All this roms are the exact same, except for the cyangogen rom. Create something wildly different.
I really like the speed of this ROM, and even after installing a **** load of apps the respond time is amazing.
A really neat job Mate.

Keep in mind that I'm not a ROM dev, as I said, this is just a repack. You should wait for Gingerbread which will come any time soon.
Edit: Why don't you become a ROM dev yourself? That way you could create something "wildly different"
