So I'm creating this thread to try and determine a percentage value (%) for how many people were actually able to successfully order the new Nexus 4 device on the Launch Date (Nov 13th, 2012) from the Google Play Store.
NOTE: BTW if you picked up your phone from a retail store/t-mobile/O2(UK) etc, then please do not vote, this is for Google Play Store orders only.
If you successfully ordered 1 or more Nexus 4 devices, then click YES.
If you encountered errors/out of stock/coming soon/ or any sort of processing error which resulted in you not managing to order a device. Then, click NO

I'm in Toronto, Canada and was unable to order the Nexus 4 from Google Play, due to server errors.
I tried to order from about 11:36am to 12 noon with no success.
I was able to order mine at 8:34 pacific here in Washington state.
I'm in Germany, I managed to get one after a series of errors. I actually thought I hadn't made it also but then saw an email confirmation later.
But it's not been shipped yet.. :crying:

I was able to order one are 1:00PM EST. Was unsuccessful earlier, but kept refreshing and using Page Monitor Chrome extension. Got a 16GB N4 that is scheduled to ship before the week is over.

They had all sold out by the end of the 13th? You couldn't have possible bought one today!
never saw the 'add to cart' button once.. stayed up all night and morning constantly refreshing, including at 8.00am when others said it went live.. uk ... there's some kind of con going on, I couldn't of tried any harder.

In UK, there at 8am refreshing until i got the ready for order. Had exactly the same experience as everyone else, errors galore on the order process, tried adding the bumper, the 16gb and 8gb, ended up getting an order for the 8gb and bumper! My credit card shows the amount as pending to come out, and Google wallet says shipping 15th.
Whoop whoop! Come on Google, redeem yourselves with the order process for those who managed to get through the initial mess!

Yes thats true I did hear that the UK had Out of Stock signs shown earlier than US/Canada.

My order still says Nov 13 and shipping estimate 15th. Would it kill them to update it?
Everytime I call in they say it's still "processing". I am under the impression that lots of people get stuck in processing and forgotten about. Thinking about calling CSR and asking them to refer me to a specialist so I can get my shipping estimate updated at least for christ' sake.
Limbo level 3, BO email, but my date has changed from 13 to 17 to 19 so maybe there is still hope something might happen soon .

Same here mine has been changed to the 19th but we still don't know what that means and I have a bad feeling that we will be waiting for at least a week and a half while others schedule enjoy the new shiny toy over the holiday.
Ordered exactly at 12pm EST, and I got back ordered. Its insane. I don't know how people were still allowed to order afterwards if they already didn't have enough phones in stock.

Yeah I am in the same boat as both of you. While I did lie to a service rep yesterday and told them I did not get the BO email and they said they sent my case to a specialist, so we will see if anything comes out of that.

Isn't the fact that they updated it to the 19th a good thing?
The last time mine was updated was the 13th, which makes it seem like they're not even bothering with it anymore :crying:

just found out that the temporary authorization on my account is gone as of this morning.
im now suicidal.
It's getting so frustrating that at times I want to just cancel but I know that I might regret that since I already have a purchase order from Google. I just wish this ordeal was over like today, either way if anyone gets any shipping info please post it on here as soon as possible I will do the same!

Not to sound so negative but I'm hoping that we don't get our phones the actual third week and then a week later it's available to all the public which I want everyone to get it but it's not fair that we ordered on the same day that it went on sale and yet we're going to get it so late
If we dont get our phone by today which is the 5th processing day we have more leverage on demanding for a free shipping or bumper.
That's all I'm saying. I want the phones today or tomorrow because I have been more than patient about the situation.
I am too heavy to be doing the Limbo Level 3. Come on Google....just give me a status! No emails since the day of ordering? Why punish early adopters?

Not to bring your hopes down but what makes you think that we might even get it before the holiday do you have any sources or are you just hoping?
I know preorders start on the 29th but does anyone know when the phone is set to release?

I think that's what'll end up hurting the most..... that long wait from the 29th to the 12th... that is IF they even actually start to ship out right away on the 12th, or if we'll have another debacle like the Nexus 5 launch, where it's like the ordering process was basically a pre-order and you still had to wait 2+ weeks to actually get the phone.

November 12th is the T-Mobile release of the device. That said the N6 could release on Google Play a little sooner than that. Its not hard to imagine really.
I feel bad more for people in other countries that might have to wait MUCH longer than us to get their hands on a N6.
Yeah I would imagine it releasing a couple of days sooner on google play. A lot of the cases for it on amazon have release dates towards the end of November so I wouldn't be surprised if it released around the 12th.
I hope it releases on AT&T the same day as google play

Yup, it opened up just right now for like 5 minutes. Got my order through and it went back to "Coming Soon". Already got my email confirmation. Now waiting for the 128GB model to pop up so I can snatch one up also for my co-worker.

Just ordered one a few minutes ago. The estimate delivery is 11/29.

The price is good, but my primary worry is that this phone won't have factory images available or be safe to root even if the bootloader gets unlocked after a sim unlock.
I also wouldn't expect any ability to convert to an international firmware even if the modem portions are retained.

T-Mobile chat told me they aren't leaving the warehouse until Friday. I think he's wrong, as all other preorders deliver by launch date, but I haven't seen any movement yet.

I even paid extra for expedited shipping. It will suck to watch people walk out of the store with them on Friday while I wait till the middle of next week...
First Pre orders should be shipping out Thursday and delivered Friday on launch day. Check your bank account. TMobile will charge your card once your phone is ready to ship out. My card was charged a few hrs ago and pre order was placed on the first day.

When they ship it to you the IMEI for that phone is assigned to your account. They won't let you check out another device until you receive the first one. It's a hassle. I paid for next day
UPS shipping notification, delivery Friday. Excited about this McLaren addition.
I ordered mine on Tuesday evening via T-Mobile help on Twitter. Even transferred money into my account in case it charged early. My card was charged late on the 3rd and transaction was completed on the 4th. Hopefully I will get an update from UPS later today and so get the email update from T-Mobile with my imei. My order is a JOD upgrade. I got overnight shipping. I would have went into a store but I have to work 10-8 tomorrow do I can't get to a store.
I sure hope they ship them out tonight.
Edit: I just checked my UPS app and it is showing.

You're right, I would have just added it to another line on account and popped my sim in, returned to sender. Just put it on credit card.
Got next day also, receiving tomorrow according to ups app

Mine says 10:45 am to 1:45 pm. Good thing my wife works from home. She's even going to work in the living room so she can see the driver when he/she comes up on the porch. 99.9% of the time, they arrive sometime closer to 6 or 7 or later.
My daughter's iPhone on Halloween last year was supposed to arrive by 1:30, it got delivered at almost 9pm. I'm not paying $8 for the 2 hour delivery window, that from everything I have read and heard, also gets missed.
Once it arrives, I will be impatiently waiting for time to clock out and get home.
I really, really want this phone but the high chance of not being able to flash the international firmware is why I'm not going to do it.
