Hello guys, i was just using my phone normally and the volume down button got stuck!
Now when I turn on the device it always goes to "serial" bootloader screen, although I can keep volume up button pressed (volume down + volume up only) and the device will enter in Windows Mobile.
Anyway in Windows I cant access volume control . Try pressing the two volume buttons in the same time.
Anyone knows some way I can manage sound volume without the volume buttons? Anyone fenced a hardware button stuck problem like these? Should I try open and fix my phone?
I have the same problem but with the Power button. I still don't know if to open it or send it to HTC for repair. I live in Argentina and HTC doesnt have a support center, but in Brasil there is one. I would love to live in Brasil and be able to send it for repair. I am almost about to go by car from Buenos Aires to Sao Paulo.
yeah, Monday I will call brazilian hot line and discover what they can do for me. My biggest problem is that my model is from Europe and not the brazilian one.

I had this problem breifly with mine. I pressed the button again afew times and it sorted itself :s
i also have that problem, it got stuck. do anyone know how to disable the volume control buttons, i mean removing the shortcut?
The power button on my TYTN II is playing up. It gets stuck down sometimes so I need to replace it. Does anyone know where I can get spare parts from in the UK? I tried a repair shop and they said that they can no longer get hold of the power buttons which I don't really believe!
Hi My Lock/Power button stopped working for unknown reason.
I don't want to take this to repair shop as this phone is rear in my place and they probably will harm it instead of fixing.
Now I am looking for solutions.
One way is to assign LOCK functionality to other button may be Volume +/- or Camera Button.
Is there any software that can help me to solve this?
The reason I am asking this question is I am having QWERTZ keyboard and I easily transformed it to QWERTY from Recovery.
Any other suggestions where to purchase Power Button replacement online are welcome.

i cant switch on my phone at all. 3 combo button cant work too. my phones dead except for charging.
history of my phone:
replaced screen.
power button ribbon was damaged while replacing screen.
so i bought a new ribbon to solder it on.
i was using the phone without the power button while waiting for the power button ribbon to arrive.
one day my phone just went to a black screen and thats that. i cant even power on my phone now.
just soldered the power button ribbon back. still not working.
any help guys???

Guys suddenly power button stopped responding.i cant switch off the device or anything to get it back to work.

Secondly if the power button is not working you can get it replaced at a service centre or a local shop.
