You should do a stripped ROM and then a zip package with all the added apps.
A ROM with 123Mb is quite big...

Agree with that, I had to move many apps using link2sd because I was out of space in 10 minutes
a2sdgui is the solution.

it's not necessary to use "link2sd", A2SD gui does this job automatically.
To save memory space, go to a2sdgui in dalvik section, select "dalvik in sd-ext" and press the move & build button, the phone will reboot after 10 minutes aprox.

If you can, leave the default launcher and let the people choose what they want.
If you can remember, the best 2.2 ROM ever for P500 was one trully light weight and unbranded.
Robertips, I really love this rom as is coz it's a stock rom with modern look and performance (remaining in the stock limits!), stable and virtually bugless.
On my phone I like to have a blazing CM modded rom for everyday uses and a stock rom when reliability and battery llife are mandatory, and now your rom is THE stock rom for excellence! As each rom I give it my personal touch with some adjustments in scripts an here an there but I really appreciate your work, Thanks!
I found the rom a bit unstable in the long run, then I checked the scripts and I did a little cleaning, as follows:
A) disabled banner, cpueditor, firstboot, app2sd, loopysmothness, 07tweaks, darky zipalign, setrenice, cleaner, journalism, cleanup init ram, sqlite optimize, speedy modified, citbun, supercharger (by hand restoring original build.prop)
B) moved all the movable apps to sd-ext with Link2sd
Now the phone is stable & fast.
Hints
MAKE A NANDROID COMPLETE BACKUP, then...
First disable Supercharger deleting build.prop and renaming build.prop.unsuper as build.prop, then set to 0 the S99Supercharger's script permissions. Reboot.
Disable app2sd by command su a2sd nocache (automatic reboot) then su a2sd remove (wait a little then manual reboot).
Disable all the scripts as in point (A) in system/etc/init.d by setting to 0 the permissions
Reboot. Install Link2sd then set it properly. The end!
If something here is too obscure, don't touch your phone!

You for checking/using my Rom
QuestionsQ = How To Install A Rom.
A = I suggest a Full Wipe especially if you come from a new ROM. Wipe All>Wipe Dalvik Cache>Flash ROM>Reboot.
Q = How To Install An UpdatePatch
A = Wipe Cache>Wipe Dalvik Cache>Flash UpdatePatch>Reboot.
Q = Can I Flash this over Oxygen 2.8 with without wiping?
A = NO, Oxygen 2.8 is Odexed and this is a Deodexed Rom. in my case i lost my status bar
Q = What is UpdatePatch?
A = It is a Flashable zip but not a full ROM to Update the Version of the ROM, Less hassle for you and me. Minimal download and upload for an Update.
Note: If you come From Different ROM You Still Need To Download The Full ROM Before You Flash the UpdatePatch.
Don't Forget to Thank me if you like my Work,^^

@algie17: bro, just a suggestion, try to integrate xloud, megabeatsbass, beats audio and bravia engine hacks on your rom. Arguably, it can be useless or vice versa, but you can't deny that a lot of us thinks it's cool having them. Thus, making your rom more attractable to others. Just a suggestion though.
so nice. good job man!

,hmm i dnt know if i will include that i want it to be compact and lightweight,if you want apps you can always download from the internet,if that is a tweak maybe ill include that if it won't affect battery that much because i want my rom to have a battery that can last long,^^,mybe ill include that maybe not, just wait ill read feed backs in tweaks and scripts first before i implement them,^^,

Yes it is a script. I believe it does not have to do anything in the battery. It is for media use only, enhancing both audio quality and audio sounds to be exact. Bravia Engine is a bit silly though, they said "it can improve image quality" but i can't see any difference. Just the audio scripts will be fine. Hope you can add them. Enhanced Battery Life+Enhanced Media Quality will be awesome!
I got a suggestion algie post some neocore scorces

Disclaimer: I'm not responsible if your phone spontaneously combusts, gives you a heart attack, or falls from your hands due to how shockingly fast it is.
I claim no responsibility for any damage that may be done to your phone due to negligence of reading the OP and failure of following directions
Now I've been tweaking computer systems for a few years now and I've decided to put that experience to work on the Android platform. It is a shame that Stock ICS lags on our Arc S given the cpu and gpu that it has. The phone has potential, but is imminently bogged down by cruddy I/O's. Therefore I've researched and experimented various tweaks on our device with one goal in mind, to optimize the OS for smoothness and speed while maintaining stability and keeping battery drain to a mininum at the same time.
(sound like a challenge?)
I present to you Sparta Charge, the Rom that brings your device to its fullest potential.
Here is the breakdown on some of the features.
4.1.B.0.587 based
Busybox 1.20.2 optimized for android by Linus Yang

so i think for easy to know rom faster and minim lag from free RAM on running program
