CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

codeworkx said:
Hey guys,
you might have noticed that the international versions of samsung phones got great cyanogenmod support but the GT-I9100G didn't.
The reason for this is, that the international one is powered by an Exynos 4 SoC and the I9100G by an Omap 4 one.
Since nobody of our team owns a I9100G, we're not able to develop on it.
Now the deal:
If there are enough I9100G users interested in CyanogenMod for this device, i might buy one.
Please vote!

[ROM][CM11][NON-CAF][4.4.4][SEP28] temasek's UNOFFICIAL Build

original thread and dev: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797109
NOTE
This is an UNOFFICIAL build of CM11 (CyanogenMod 11) for Mako and by NO means this is temasek's or my ROM. I am just compiling from CM Source and 100% credits goes to all coders who contributes to CyanogenMod.
This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in. If you can't handle some things possibly being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.

I hope all of you like this ROM. Remember to VOTE this thread if you like it.
Do NOT expect daily builds. I'll build when I'm free.
Do NOT use this unofficial build and ask for support at the official threads.

THIS ROM IS NOT READY FOR THE COMMON USER.
This thread is dedicated to the further development of CM11 for the T210. Please do not post bug reports for the time being. I am aware that it has many, many issues. Please only post relevant DEVELOPMENT discussion.
Please do not post requests to make it for another device. We "may" be able to if we ever get this to a decent status.
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

The two big issues I would like to get fixed first are in post 2.
Without those fixed, everything else is kind of pointless.

@gr8nole Just checked your repo. Why sdcard service https://github.com/gr8nole/android_device_samsung_lt02wifi/blob/master/rootdir/init.pxa988.rc#L555 commented out? You can use my device tree as a reference.
With GPU accelerated enable and working, you can disable hardware composition for a while by removing /system/lib/hw/hwcomposer.mrvl.so . Please try add TARGET_RUNNING_WITHOUT_SYNC_FRAMEWORK := true to your BoardConfig.mk to utilized surfaceflinger software sync.
Very good reference: https://community.freescale.com/docs/DOC-93612

That init.pxa988.rc is from stock. I'll give it a try with that enabled.

For your information
The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. That’s the beauty of Android – that you can pick and choose from a smorgasbord of devices with varying features and functionality.
Omni is a chance to get involved, no matter who you are. Developers, whether you’ve been developing apps for a week, or ROM features for 3 years, you’re welcome. Users, we know you want to help out, and now you can – Omni actively encourages bug reports and feature requests, which can be added to our publicly accessible roadmap.
Omni is about flexibility and giving users what they expect – and we are excited to see where the community goes with it.

This is developed for the LTE version of Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (GT-I9195), and tested when running I9195XXUCNE6 baseband.
I'll only support this model since it's the only one I own, if someone wants to attempt to port this ROM to his model feel free to take my tree as base.
Reporting Bugs
If you want to report bugs please read THIS HOWTO first. Please try to provide logs if you see errors (logcat and dmesg). If you don't know how to do that check google or ask people here to help you. Don't contact me directly.
Enabling logcat Logging (Windows HOWTO: How to logcat like a Pro!)
adb shell dmesg
How to use strace?
Download
You are storing very sensitive information on your phone. You always have to be careful what ROMs you flash and whom you trust. If you don't trust me then don't use my ROM or compile it from source by yourself.
You can download the ROM here.
If you are going to host my ROM somewhere else, please let me know that on this thread or over PM, so I can add the link here also

Read the thread mate, sadly I won't get involved on to building a ROM that I don't own. Is a no go to develop a device I don't own.

I have I9195 and there is nothing else to say about this issue, maybe the wifi signal is somewhat different here in my country ( Iceland )
Other roms pickup wifi at my home without problems, ( [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][4.4.4] CarbonRom KitKat )
I maybe try Silesh.Nair Build later to see if I get the same issue.
Any one having the 3G variant of S4 Mini should go to Silesh thread. I'll work over LTE one.

it's good to have you back. I also remembered all good stuff you did for the s3 mini as well. nice to see all the devs here .
please;;; Make a build for Gt-I9192 (dual sim) I used to flash this ROM on my s3 and it was the best!!!!!!!:good:
I don't own that variant, and I won't release untested software. But there's some guy that asked me for help and I guess he will be porting it
Screenshots for news interested users like me plz?
It's exactly like any other AOSP ROM on they UI side. Just that there some cool features like OmniSwitch. I suggest to test it yourself, because no one will know better than you if you like it. Personally I'm having better battery life compared to CM, but of course the system is not so overloaded with many things.
