we really need this..6 months waiting for it.....
codeworkx said:
Hey guys,
you might have noticed that the international versions of samsung phones got great cyanogenmod support but the GT-I9100G didn't.
The reason for this is, that the international one is powered by an Exynos 4 SoC and the I9100G by an Omap 4 one.
Since nobody of our team owns a I9100G, we're not able to develop on it.
Now the deal:
If there are enough I9100G users interested in CyanogenMod for this device, i might buy one.
Please vote!

CM 11 for Galaxy Ace (Cooper) is released !
I got Blue Screen while installing CWM 6... Restored Stock with Odin... So I didn't test it anyway...
Respect man. You guys did a nice job.
But in the installation procedure you said we need a 3 Button combo - the ace only needs the home and start button to boot into the recovery.
Gesendet von meinem GT-S5830 mit Tapatalk 2
great work!!!
insert bug list in first post please...
well i test it and here is my feedback :
1-its a good enough for a first release
2-too much lags (thats normal for a first release)
3-no customize at all
4-not enough space
5- there is no smileys button in keyboard :'(
6-bluetooth will work after a reboot (camera not working )
7-cant add google account(need a google apps zip to flash
that i dont know where i can find one that fit with kitkat)
anyway thnx devs , waiting for the next release,
and back to cm9 cuz this release is not ready for daily use :/
cheers
have someone tried it
how about performance and battery and ram management and is it fast than cm 10.1 or 10.2 and eats less ram than these

You have to install the latest one. it cant softbrick. you are making some mistake
This ROM over all is smoother than CM10.1/2
Lockscreen glowpad animation is snappy. Apps open fast..
Also, camera is actually working. I installed Focal (the cyanogenmod one before it was removed since the play store one is "incompatible") and it can take pictures. It is a little slow, but to see it working partially is amazing
Yes i can confirm that camera is working with third party apps like lg camera, but its buggy

[ROM][CM11][NON-CAF][4.4.4][SEP28] temasek's UNOFFICIAL Build

original thread and dev: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797109
NOTE
This is an UNOFFICIAL build of CM11 (CyanogenMod 11) for Mako and by NO means this is temasek's or my ROM. I am just compiling from CM Source and 100% credits goes to all coders who contributes to CyanogenMod.
This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in. If you can't handle some things possibly being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.

Please use the latest official TWRP recovery. CWM is fine too, but I believe TWRP is more stable (plus, TWRP is better imo).

if you find any bugs, let me know. I may not be able to fix them, but perhaps it could be from one of my cherry-picks. but there doesn't seem to be any problems. I have been using it for a couple of days

What phone are you using now? I didn't have an xda account while having the s3 so I didn't have any comments in the s3 section (passed the s3 to my mum as she loves it).. I used to run your ROM since v1 and flash every nightly. It was fun

Nice work Demetris, sorry to bug you but I finally manage to upload a log of my smartphone right after i had to restart it because of signal loss.
Thanks in advance..!
Finally I can post for cm11
If I left my phone to turn off from battery and will charge with USB,screen on PC gets blue and restarts again and again up to disconnect the phone
Message that I prevent to read is "wrong or bad IRQ"
This happens only if phone is totally empty
Never had this on stock
I have to charge for view minutes with travel charger and than to USB
Phone is on latest nightly stock kernel and os win 7
I had same issue once.. But changed drivers or sth and never happened again..
BTW @Demetris do you have some ideas how to fix hotword detection and crt screen off animation?

well I use nova launcher and have no such problems.
but I have to report another little bug.
It is not possible to change details for contacts via the caller-UI.
The contact app crashes fatal.
Log is attached.
Same crash with contacts app.
CM version from 07/06 was more stable.
Trebuchet crashes very often too

demetris, i have to congratulate you on becoming an official maintainer for cm11 for our device; arcee is great dev, but he's spread too thin, and you as a person that actively uses our phone will bring many many upgrades to cm11 official sources, as well as roms based on them. thanks again for all your work, without you, laufersteppenwolf & adam, our device would lag behind other phones heavily.
So I would guess there is a tiny chance of getting an M release some time...
