Help with what? You need to explain your problem. If you're still asking about upgrading from 20.1 to 30.1, yes you can do it. I've already stated this in my previous posts.

Will this restore my ability to unlock using dans tool?

No because you can't downgrade if your bootloader is locked.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I am trying to unroot and I cannot use RSD Lite because I'm a Linux only man. Kind of sad, this is the first time I've had a problem like this after 5 phones.
Is there a way to apply this without using RSD? Or some way that I can install a stock ROM without using RSD? I feel like a moron because I can't find the SD card I had the stock backup that I did, and the only thing I can find after hours of searching online are RSD-Lite related unroots.
Can anyone help me? Either provide a way I can install a stock ROM using a Linux utility, or perhaps be an extremely kind soul and create a stock rooted ROM that I can flash via TWRP? I've done this before and used the universal unroot, works extremely well, but I can't find anything like that for the xt926.
I'm pretty desperate here, anyone that can help please.

Trying to download the stock firmware from the 1st page and when I click the link to download I'm met with the "FORBIDDEN: you don't have access to this page" message...
Does anyone have a working download link?
Or can anyone tell me how to properly download?

Hi there . I have some questions.1) is this rom prerooted?
2) is safestrap needed to install this ? or can you just install from external sd card.?
3)does anything NOT work?
4) would you consider it a daily driver? or alpha or beta?

The first 2 aren't even questions about his ROM... and daily driver status is up to the user not the developer. Do you know what alpha and beta tests mean exactly?

Well first off it is debloated, took away carrier symbol in the top left corner, runs 4.2 launcher, runs 4.1.2 gapps, zip aligns on boot, new boot animation, and more changes will come this is the BETA release. Still (in my opinion) good enough for a daily driver, but I WANT to make some more changes. Please people do not ask me how good my rom is, I made the thing, I'm probably a little bias.
thanks, but I guess I can't install it, 'cause of Safestrap needs a device with root access and I lost that access in the last update to JB

You can't perform a downgrade with locked bootloader but you can reflash the same version, i supose. About the sleeps you already try configurations -> display -> sleep? Good Luck!
I may sound noob... but can you please tell me what's the difference between retail and carrier version. Any benefits other than no carrier bloatware? I am looking to flash my Phone and considering telstra version .. what i should expect from this ROM?
For info : English - Spanish - Portug.... Onluy this 3 languages available on this rom ...

Sent from my XT925 using Tapatalk 2
If I understand things correctly the service version is required to keep root (you need protected root on 4.0.4 before you upgrade to JB then restore root)
If this is the case is there an ETA on service version of this firmware?
Don't keep the root you must root again... flash cwm and super su binary after

Can't change DPI setting on JB
Just a small problem. I can't successfully change DPI settings on this. If I change DPI from 320 to perhaps 240, cell stops booting, then only RSD Lite to solve (flashing everything back to stock). Does this happen to anyone else?
EDIT: Solved. Wasn't a problem with the ROM at all. Density modders aren't prepared to JB yet. Changed build.prop and everything worked well. Thank you anyway!

Yes, RSD 6.
But if you want it rooted: as JB Service version is not available for download yet (just the full version), in order to not loose root, I advise you to flash 4.0.4 Retail Brazil and then update through Settings to Motorola's JB 4.1.2.
If you don't need root or if you know some other rooting method, go ahead and flash JB Full Version with RSD Lite 6. It's your phone so you take the risk.

New Update? [Stock GPe]

I just got an update to JWR66Y.H1. Am I late or does no one else know what I'm talking about?

I have pushed this and then used the stock recovery to load it and has worked fine Thanks, saves me waiting for the OTA.
I've flash the update via CWM 6.0.3.1. Its work fine on ne GPE Rom. I must reflash the SuperSU, because it doesn't work after the update.
But my Kernel wasn't updated to "3.4.10-gd58931"... maybe this update also includes this kernel version not.

OTA's normally require the original/vanilla rescue system and not CWM
Is there anyway to update and keep root as thats the only thing stopping me from updating it
Just update and then flash the SuperSU package from chainfire

Then does the OTA Update do anything if you flash it with CWM?
Has anyone posted a stock system image from JWR66Y.H1 suitable for flashing with CWM recovery yet?
I know, I'm being super impatient I didn't have any luck flashing the full conversion, so I'm just running CWM Recovery + a Google Edition system image. And I want my updates! hahah.
Anyway I saw BlackJelly posted a lightly modified one, but I was wondering if anyone had done a pure stock one yet.

Please post Questions about the CROMi-X 7.x ROM released for the TF701T here:

Thanks! :good:

With CROMi X, antutu benchmark only shows 22000 on 1600p and 25000 on 1200p.
I know benchmark are just numbers but why are the numbers lower than stock rom?
I followed your instructions for installing CWM 6.0.4.6, but whenever I try loading CWM my tablet reboots.
I used the root method In this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516215 and haven't updated my tablet since I'm on bootloader version 10.14.1.47. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Ok got everything working. I had to follow the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47933481&postcount=1 after my mistake to get recovery working and install 10.26.1.18. Everything is working now thanks.
You say:
• Apps Removed: Tegra Zone, BitCast, Kindle, Chrome, Flipboard, Magazines, Books, Zinio, Google Plus, Press Reader, CM Client, DM Client (calling home apps)

Does that mean all of the apps listed are "calling home apps", and what exactly does that mean?

Only CM client and DM client are calling home apps to Asus. The other apps are removed as bloat. Most are available on the play store. I might put up a vote on what else can be trashed

Many appreciation to you ROMs :good: and selfless developers like you.
I have a few question about the recovery.
My TF701T is on 10.14.1.47 CN, and I've unlocked the bootloader and flashed a CWM 6.0.3.7.
I wonder if I can directly flash a new version CWM and then flash your modified ROM, or is there any way to relock the bootloader so I can receive OTA once again?
Since I am not that satisfied with the battery life at 4.2, I really want to try 4.3, which brought a series of new features.
Many thanks to you, sincerely.

Uh, I got an old version bootloader.
In case of bricking my device, I prefer not to try to do that in this circumstance.
Thanks AngryDinosaur You have put me on the proper way! Now I am looking for possibility to tune layout... I will surf XDA... phab7 works great!

Update to the CN 4.3 from Asus first then flash cwm 6.0.4.6 otherwise this will end in tears.

Thank you for replying.
But I had already unlocked the bootloader on 4.2, does it mean I will never be able to update it thru OTA to 4.3?
I feel not good but still thanks a billion.

Try the eroot software first.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219781
PS: have you got the phone already?
yes since yesterday... here in germany with an online seller.
but the eroot method is for sony ericsson, not a motorola...
don't wanna brick it the second day.
even i want to know how to root.. do we need to unlock bootloader?
standard procedure is to unlock bl and then root...
Custom Recovery
Please make and provide one custom recovery for Moto G2. I unlocked the bootloader. But the old custom recoveries are not working. Need to root it asap.!!
ok little update.
bootloader unlocked...
but neither
-towelroot
-framaroot
-eroot
-superboot
-or mototool
worked...
so i think i have to wait ...
