Link is posted. Let me know what you guys see. I noticed the camera was FC... I'll look into it.
never mind. Camera works great! Had to grab the kernel from CM10.1, just a heads up guys. The one that built with it was stuck at min/max 200Mhz...

Re: [ROM][4.2.2] AOKP MR1 Kang Project
OK the n8000 build over night without any issues. Added the latest CM kernel and modules. Uploading now. I really need some people to test it and provide fee back as I dont own the n8000 and am unable to test it personally.
Also what do you n8013 guys think? Haven't heard any feed back yet. Thanks
Sent from my dark hole called an office.

Installed in n8013...
Runs pretty fast and smooth..
Few bugs- More of a cosmetic issues
1. navigation bar - icons not shown in phone mod
2. Editing of the menu resulted in system ui error , needing a factory reset. All good since then
3 . When trying to change height of navigation bar and looks like device thinks portrait is landscape and vice versa
3.sliding brightness of taskbar does not seem to work
4. No icons show up in the notification bar in phablet mode . however fine in tablet mod
5. Also a direct link to gapps in first post would be great ( Not the modded one from OP)
Will report more later

Re: [ROM][4.2.2] AOKP MR1 Kang Project
Works great! I'm rocking the tablet mode and I'm loving it..I think that's a first from other cm 10.1 ROMs! The only thing I can't find are the nav bar transparency settings but I see how implementing those might be a pita. Everything else seems to be working fine and as usual the AOKP rom controls are spot on. Don't worry I think people will come on board when the get tired of Samsung's tw nightmare and lack of customization. Keep up the good work man! Oh and Netflix still needs entropy's module fix if anyone uses it.
Sent from my GT-N8013 using XDA Premium HD app

The only two things that I miss are
1. Multiwindow - There was a talk about implementing cornerstone by cyanogen team, but looks like it was dropped as google was not happy with it.. Hopefully someone would re start the project
2. Samsung keyboard. Love the handwriting recognition engine in it.. But read somewhere that someone has port it.. Will have to find that out...

Good deal. Thanks guys! I will look into the cosmetic issues and see if I can cherry pick anything for them. Since I ported these over there isn't a device maintainer as of yet so I might have to do thing more manually. Cornerstone would be awesome and something I might look into soon if this thing really takes off. I think Rob had it working pretty well on the tenderloin. @TexasRules777 do you also have a link to the Netflix fix?
Still waiting on some feed back on the n8000. Lmao don't even know if it boots but a few people have downloaded it so.

N8000 feedback
Superb job, OP. Been playing with the rom for two hours now. Solid, no major bugs encountered so far :good: I can confirm the cosmetic bugs mentioned by aalupatti especially the nav bar ones. Not a problem for me, I usually disable the navbar and use gesture control so I can have fullscreen and thanks for bringing back tablet mode, I couldn't simply understand the common sense (or lack of) in cm10.1 roms putting both statusbar and navbar and taking up alot of screen real estate Just to let you know its working on the N8000.

N8010
Hi Jamison904,
do you plan to build this for the N8010 too?
Regards

Very nice, James. I finally got around to getting it installed and it's really good. First time running 4.2 on a tablet, so I'm excited about the multi user aspect. But side note, I didn't realize that root didn't apply to the non-primary users... That kinda sucks. lol
But ROM wise, well done.:good:

NOTE
This is an UNOFFICIAL build of CM11 (CyanogenMod 11) for Mako and by NO means this is temasek's or my ROM. I am just compiling from CM Source and 100% credits goes to all coders who contributes to CyanogenMod.
This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in. If you can't handle some things possibly being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.

Please use the latest official TWRP recovery. CWM is fine too, but I believe TWRP is more stable (plus, TWRP is better imo).

What phone are you using now? I didn't have an xda account while having the s3 so I didn't have any comments in the s3 section (passed the s3 to my mum as she loves it).. I used to run your ROM since v1 and flash every nightly. It was fun

so this is built from AOSP source and still has all the CM customization goodies?
Can you please add some screenshots showing the main features like lockscreen notifications, halo (bubble), customizations etc..?
@Deadman, thank u very much, glad to see more devs in our beloved XZ and glad to see one of my favorite Roms come to us in a professional hands.
As i see in rom features, there is something about gamma support, and as i remember gamma control is a kernel feature, so is this features for other device or what?

Cheers @deadman96385 for this ROM. I haven't got the occasion to extensively test the ROM because I've installed it ~12 hours ago, but so far it's very smooth and pretty bug-free.
The only "problem" encountered was when I've turned developer options on the settings app crashed, but it was a one-time issue.
I'll post more feedback if I run into any other issues while I'm using the ROM.

call issue
I dont think the call issue was fixed in latest build but ahould be in the next 1 from what I have seen so will you be updating it when it is done
Just gave it a run, still exists it's really frustrating, am loving all the KK roms around here but i need my note 8's calling feature too still stuck with damned stock.
Tested it for a hour, rom runs great also with Moretz kernel
The system settings - specially the AOKP ones - are..... kind of special....
But my personal opinion: It´s not so round for me - I think it´s a AOKP thing, the AOKP-settings are not deep implemented.
Thanks a lot tejkkarani for porting this rom Great work

Thanks a lot tejkkarani for porting this rom Great work

thanks
but long press home button action does not work for me !
i've set recent app on double press home button ...
I was looking back at my all time favorites and thought i would re-flash AOKP again and man i missed this rom. It still runs great and has the tons of customizations that i love so much.
I was wondering if you have any plans on updating this rom? About the only thing I can see that I would update would be the theme chooser.
I know I'm not supposed to ask for updates or ETA's and I hope that is not how you take this, I'm just curious of you have any further plans for AOKP.
Thank you again for this build.

Try again make sure you wipe everything and also make sure you flash the boot.img
so...how does this compare to the pac-man rom?
It is still very basic as it hasn't matured yet properly and PAC is probably better for modication but meh. Also new build uploaded.
is mms working?
Mms doesn't work. New build uploaded. Selinux fixed to fix build.

Yes, this project is alive but I don't build it as much because it isn't as popular. I will upload a new build when possible:good:
Awesome! I've heard it is more stable in certain respects, so im looking to try it, but a newer build would be arsine!

Thats great news. I feel this ROM is real smooth.Look forward for more refinements. Is there a possibility to include blinkfeed natively into the ROM ?

It surely feels more stable to me than PAC, and it has more commonly used features at the ready.

Like I said I will update as soon as possible. School and other things are taking up time right now also had to start up a new build environment so I am starting from scratch and currently I am syncing the AOKP repo.
Awesome, love this ROM

AWESOME ROM... WildfireDEV has made just the Most Stable and Smooth 4.4 rom for my Vivid so far.. Using it and It looks Perfect by now.. No Crashes, No lags, Nothing bothering.
I installed and Came with no Music Player and I use mini gapps so no Google player can Someone Recommend one? I do not need Equalizer or nothing like this.. Just a Smooth one.
Again I LOVE this Rom.
A lot of people like double twist, I personally like play music (Google's android music player). Apollo is nice when I use it, too, although I haven't really figured out playlists :/

Unofficial build of CyanogenMod 12.1(Android 5.1.1) for the i9300
IntroductionHello everyone I would like to share my first ROM. Because i hear that at some point all the developers will start stop supporting this phone and I decided to update the phone on myself and share the builds with the community. This is my first project of mine in order to learn how to build roms from sources and better.I never really did something like this before but i always wanted to try it. With this said i am sharing with you this ROM that i build from CyanongenMod Sources. I will be updating this rom occasionally from the sources of CyanongenMod for our phone i9300.
This ROM is going to be based based on stock CyanongenMod at initial release. So far is works great so far as a stock CyanongenMod and if there is any bugs are already known bugs from CyanongenMod if any.
Installation instructions
Clean Flash
1. do a nanoback up of your system
2. do a data factory reset of your phone
3. wipe divlk/cache/data/system
4. flash the rom
5. flash the gapps
6.wipe davlks/cache
7.reboot
Dirty Flash
1.do a nanoback up of your system
2. wipe davlks/cashe
3.install rom
4.boot
enjoy

Thanks for notice it and i fixed it my ROM for initial release is just going to be stock CyanogenMod rom. I am going to just update to the latest sources. At the moment this ROM is stock CyanogenMod which means there are not going to be any mods or tweaks. My plan is to find the best tweaks and make a ROM that is smooth and works great on this phone for daily day.
Thank you for you prompt answer, i will test your rom.
Do you think that you can add this tweak without using xposed :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2101525
What will be great as well is to have boeffla sound in your rom
All the best for your incoming work!

You very welcome and ill look into it and see what i can i do not promise anything. I am still learning how to make roms and i am still new to this. My main goal is to have updated Cyanongen Mod sources for I9300 more often. Also about boeffla sound you could flash Boeffla Kernel which add boeffla sound as well but i prefer to have the stock Kernel because i find it a little bit more stable. Thanks for your wishes
So... This is just a build made by you with the same sources that JustArchi's CM?

I actually only use JustArchi local Manifest.xml nothing else...... because CyanogenMod doesnt support i9300 soooooo i had to use JustArchi localManifest. This rom is updated version of CM 12.1 for i9300.
Its not better to wait that JustArchi definetely stop the developpement for the S3 ? There is same on 2 different thread.

Better to learn when S3 Jedi masters ( like JustArchi, Arter97, dhiru1602 and few others) are still working on our device.
Our new S3 padawan dev might become a Great S3 Jedi Master dev.
We should support all the devs which are working on our old but beloved S3.
I downloaded the ROM this morning but after a full wipe (except external sd) it failed to flash in recovery (twrp 2.8.6.1). Partition problem...
I ask to save a log on sdcard from twrp but I can't find out where is it at the moment.
Hey did you try to flash it over another rom? Try to flash stock rom using Odin and try again. I didn't had any problem flashing this rom on my device.

I agree with you that right now as it is there are not many differences but I am going to add tweaks and modifications that I personality like for this phone. In order to make it work better. I will try to make a stable rom that's works for daily use.
