Good news. This, at least to me Confirms that there is sprint stock and phones should be in hands by Thursday /Friday.
Nothing like the 4G LTE / apple fiasco last year...

Just curious if there are any quality issues like gaps, video hissing, etc.?
Any chance you know when your phone was made also? Thanks!

What all came in the box? Headphones?

If you watch the Sprint Unboxing video that was posted somewhere in our forums, its the headphones(I've heard unbranded Beats phones, the quality matches allegedly[doubt it]) the USB cable, wall adapter, booklet, and phone.

I got the phone from HTC because I am part of a private, VIP community and I was given a chance to check out their new and awesome device.

I do not have any gaps or hissing. The speakers actually sound amazing. How would I be able to find out the made date? I'd like to find out myself and share with everyone here

I'm gonna assume the ear buds aren't unbranded Beats but can you vouch for quality? I don't know if HTC one has a decent equalizer but can you pump some bass and let me know how it sounds via included ear buds as well as boom sound?

my buds are home so Ill get back to you tomorrow on that but the phone sounds great to me. I showed it to my wife and she was also impressed by the sound. I think it sounds awesome for a cellphone.

How's LTE connectivity? I know the Evo LTE had issues with lte. Can you see if HTC fixed it this time around?

According to the Wirefly unboxing they are indeed UNBRANDED headphones. They do have a red part though so maybe it'll fool our subconscience into thinking they are Beats

Vivid and Beatbox Portable

I saw an ad last night (American Idol) for a Beatbox Portable speaker. They were using a Vivid to send music to the speaker. I assumed that the ad was from AT&T, but as of this morning, the Beatbox Portable does not appear on their website.
I believe I saw that the coming ICS upgrade will contain the Beats software. So, if they are promoting the Vivid-Beatbox combination, does that mean that the "official" ICS upgrade will be coming soon? Or just that they will soon be selling Vivids with the Beats software (and the ICS upgrade)?
I believe the update is bringing beats along with sense 3.6...I work for att and I have not recvd any info on the beats beatbox...looks cool and I would buy it...but waiting on info.
sent from my Vivid floating in rum using tapatalk premium.
Here it is. Yes Sense 3.6 does have Beats Audio built in.
The only problem is they cost $400!
This is weird, I went on AT&T's website yesterday and saw an ad for that boombox and clicked on it to check it out. Had a whole bunch of information. But now I can no longer seem to find it.
I wonder if att is going to officially roll out ics with this speaker at the same time to bring attention to both.

That was my main question at the start of the thread. I was hoping someone with AT&T might chime in.
IF I did spend $400 for the Beatbox, I would be more likely to use my iPod Classic with it. I can put a LOT more music on the iPod than I can on the Vivid.

Seems beatbox portables have been scarce. And is a bit pricy for it's capabilities. Although sound is probably pretty decent.
the tuneboxpc over on the kickstarter.com website looks interesting. (newbie, can't post links yet). It is linux based so should be easy to modify. Seems to be able to work with any web enabled devices. Cheaper than the beatbox, but requires a form of speaker like stereo or plugin speakers....etc.

Bluetooth Stereo Headphone

Hi everyone,
subject says it all. I am looking for a Bluetooth Stereo Headphone, thinking of this one atm: Amazon link
So, question of the day: Any model in particular some of you could recommend and which is of course compatible with O2X?
Been searching both on Google and here, nothing recent found yet. Hoping to find some help.
Thanks!
I am currently using Rapoo H6020, which works just fine. Sound quality is acceptable after EQ adjustments.
Only problem with these are that they get "a bit" moist when doing something sweaty.

Just ordered a new headset with this problem in mind...

When do you think you'll receive the ones you just ordered? Would be nice if you could tell how well they are once you have them so I know whether or not to buy them too

Just got mine.
We have this saying "if you want to buy good and cheap, buy'em both" and once again I fell for the cheap stuff...
Quick review: Utter crap, no bass. Lightweight though.
The dx-ones you linked might be good soundwise due to bigger earpieces. But if you have the option to try them before buying, I strongly suggest it. Also for me

Aw, what a shame! Here's another saying for you I just made up then: "If you buy cheap and you get crap, be glad you got it cheap"
Been using Samsung headphones lately, according to several reviews, you need to pay quiet an amount of cash to get some that can have a decent battery life which is really annoying and not practical at all

I think I found my next headset:

It has some form of noise cancelling and goodxaudio quality. And battery life also good...
EDIT: That's actually a pretty good saying... Already used that today

The bad
You still have wires from the ear buds or headphone
You have to clip it on near your mouth to be able to use the microphone

[Q]Beats Headphones Bundled, Release Date & LTE[Q]

Long time since I was in the HTC section!
Thinking of ordering one when I get paid next week, I've watched the unboxings on the YouTube and there is this one thing I'm really itching to find out! The headphones that are bundled, the ones with the red buds, are they cheap & nasty usual HTC headphones, are they upgraded HTC headphones to have bass and actual mid-tones, or at they Beats Headphones?
I'm in the UK personally and although Clove announced a delay, I was just wondering what is the actual release date for the One? There's nothing on HTC website about the release date, though you can pre-order one direct from them, which I think is abysmal.
Furthermore, I'm on EE 4G in the UK will an unlocked One straight from HTC or any other retailer work straight away when I insert my SIM? That ones kinda the deal breaker because I was watching a video on YouTube and all the reviews in the US were saying 'and we can't test the LTE as this is the European Model' and I know the frequencies are different blah blah blah, but I just wanted to double check I know the device is order-able from EE on a new contract, but I didn't know if that was an EE 'specific' device.
Cheers guys!
I haven't tried the bundled headphones that came with mine (i got Beats Buds free ), but no, they are not Beats buds, they appear to be just the standard HTC ones with red tips.
If you buy an unlocked (sim free) version over here then your EE sim will work straight away.

Excelletente! I have Apple EarPods anyway, which for the record are absolutely fantastic I've had Beats Headphones before and they blow Beat's out of the water for a much lower price! Thanks for the fast reply.

No problemo.
I've never had, or used any decent headphones...(most will probably say i still haven't :laugh, but i like the bass with the Beats, i'm no audiophile but i like the sound of them. Maybe it's my mis spent latter teenage years in clubs standing next to speakers that blew your head off, but i like them and am happy with them.

These headphones are not junk, they are the best headphones that come with any phone hands down. I got some replacements from amazon.com myself for only $4.
When did XDA remove the tag feature on threads? I wanted to tag this thread :bang:
