Battery life is all I care about. How's that?

Why not choose stable cm10.1 ?

Is it possible to add to CM (10.1 or 10.2 - I don`t care) PA PIE-control & ChaOS active display?

I was thinking about adding active display to the ROM. I'll post a build when I'm able. As for pie. Not sure about that. I'd use CM pie or LMT launcher.

is it smooth or laggy? that' all I care about.

Are there any kernels that work with this rom to enable overclocking? i tried Turnip Kernel but phone was unusable.
Other than that i haven't had any issues I've been running this for a week almost and its one of the smoother roms I've used lately thank you for all the hard work!

Flashed and playing with it. After 15 mins, so far so good. Thanks for the up. Like most others here, I've been anxiously waiting for Cm9 on the Inc.

Wouldn't happen to have a link to the github device tree, would you? I've been meaning to work on CM9 for the inc, but haven't had much time (or a spare inc, really; I kind of need the one I got for work and can't take it out of commission).
Thank you so much. I'm suddenly hopeful again, and I'm not overstating it, that we will see CM9 on the Incredible. I was giving up on it, and bummed as hell.

The tree I'm using is from Evervolv, here. Specifically this, with a few changes. I'll have my changes up on Github hopefully later today.
Please forgive my ignorance as I've only recently started researching ICS ROMs for my Incredible, but the other ICS ROMs - abduction, kang, etc. - don't have true HWA, correct? What HWA they have is the result of creative work-arounds by resourceful devs, right? Does this ROM have true HWA? And although they were only recently released, has anyone had any success with the official Qualcomm drivers for the Adreno 200?
Thanks.

My understanding is that these ROMs do have "true HWA" but it's still being improved upon.

A slight correction: the AOKP rom does not have HWA; Abduction 2.0 rom does have HWA, as does the Evervolv rom; Abduction also has a 1.81 version that is non-HWA.
I am running Evervolv and this AM, kushdeck released an Evo 4G rom with working camera preview. I pulled the libs from his ROM and got the camera preview working on the inc! FYI.

For those that have tried this ROM so far, how is the battery life? In earlier versions of Abduction with HWA the battery life was really bad, is it the same in this ROM? Also, does this have trackpad unlock? I had to revert to CM7 for this because my power button on my inc is starting to act up.

Battery life doesn't seem bad. I'd say around average. I've been playing with it non stop since I flashed it last night, so I haven't given it the full day test. But it seems really solid for a pre-alpha. Can't wait to see what the Inc devs can do with this bad boy.

[Q] Still not butter- where's the lard?

A while ago I used the Asylum rom with project lard (cant ever find it any more) - it was a butter smooth CM10 build and had Project Lard..
..since then, despite claims that project lard "isnt needed anymore" (read that a few times) ive tried a number of the latest roms but none come close to the smoothness and immediate response of that ROM. Am I missing something? So far as I can see Project Lard is most definitely needed!
Can anyone suggest a CM10 rom which they know to be as fast and smooth as that ROM? (Ive tried recent CM10 nightlies and utaka / paranoid,.. theyre simply not as smooth as far as I can see!)
Thanks

Slim Bean 3.0 with HydraCore 6.2 beta1 ... using for over a month now and always the first thing I flash when upgrading the rom.

[ROM][CM-10.1][4.2.2][Apr-27] Novastar nightly KANGs [Harsh kernel][Halfbreed]

Novastar CM-10.1 UNOFFICIAL nightlies
I've been compiling nightlies for personal use with my personal preferences included and since I noticed a lot of people run this setup I figured I'd share it, since it's pretty nice not to have to flash three or more zips every update.
This is meant to be an uncomplicated ROM with amazing screen calibration, good performance without having to fiddle with settings for ages and with the best new CM features.
Features:
CM-10.1 UNOFFICIAL NIGHTLY
Cherry picked:
- libstagefright: support for disabling buffer metadata
Harsh kernel [Linux 3.4.39]
- always up to date
- no need for configuration apps, runs great by default
Hardcoded halfbreed screen calibration by molesarecoming
- the best looking screen calibration for the Nexus 4, amazing improvement
- automatically integrated into the kernel ('hardcoded')
Nexus 4 default boot animation
- because I don't like CM-10.1 boot animation and of course we're all proud to be a Nexus owner.
I'm going to try to do daily updates to the ROM and the kernel and I'm open to cherry picks if you request them. Usually I don't add them myself, because not introducing bugs typically outweighs not having to wait for a few extra days. But if you guys have a special request I'll be happy to add it.
Download
Install instructions:
You can flash without wiping anything if you're coming from another CM-10.1 ROM or from a earlier version of this ROM (the CM install script wipes everything required automatically, wiping dalvik and cache isn't necessary). If you're coming from another ROM you probably don't need to wipe, but if you're getting errors try a clean install. Always do a NANDROID backup before installing!
Gapps are - as usual in CM ROMs - not included. You need to flash them the first time you install the ROM and every time you do a factory reset. You can download the most recent gapps here.
About goo.im:
There will be versions showing on the servers that are still being uploaded. If you download files that are significantly smaller than usual you're most likely downloading half of a ROM.
I've also included an automatic upload script to my build procedure. This means that there will be builds appearing on goo.im that are experimental. Usually they'll be fine, but if you want to be sure, only download after the announcement in this thread.
Credits go to:
CyanogenMod
aremcee (as CM device maintainer for our device)
Harsh (for making the best kernel)
molesarecoming (for his amazing efforts on calibrating our screen)

Yes. But they 'stick' when upgrading, so it's not required to flash them after the first time (unless you wipe, of course).

Hey flashed your ROM, it's running smooth and stable, but I am used to AOKP in terms of customization.
Too much missing for my taste. But I think this ROM isn't meant to be so customizable.
I like the hardcoded harsh kernel, because normally the harsh kernel comes with stock colors and has to be modified.

I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but shouldn't this be in 'Android Development?' Since this is a kang, it's not classified as 'original,' unless I'm wrong...

Best performanse rom?

What is best performanse rom?
It really depends what you want - for ICS probably Texasice, Sense 3 - Runny Rom for N1, etc.
Stock android usually is quicker (something like CM but if you want a different look there're always themes)

Hello, it come down to personal preference.
Why you might asked? some person are light android users (like myself), some are flash-holics.
I've tried a few the best so far is 2.3.7 CM 7.2. works flawlessly.
Currently using 4.2.2 CM 10.1 and i must say i'm still in blown away with the performance.
Thanks for this thread.

using the [ROM][DEV][JB][4.2.2] AOKP for Passion Unofficial Nightlies
I'm using the [ROM][DEV][JB][4.2.2] AOKP for Passion Unofficial Nightlies
even donated to the developer, impressive.
can even be patched using autopatcher to support pdroid,
The GB ROMS such as CM 7.2, MIUI 2.3.30 are very smooth and stable. MIUI especially offers a degree of customization not seen in most other ROMs. However, my only problem with these ROMs is the slow Write speed they've got - copying files to the SD card is a drag even if you have a class 10.
The JB ROMs (esp. 4.2.1 VJ) are very smooth and almost stable ( Camcorder, Tethering, Faulty 3G), but they kernel is optimized for faster transfers. If you can live with the niggles I mentioned, JB ROMs are the way to go.

For me, the best rom to Liquid Smooth 3.2 from Mourta . This android 4.4.4 . Very fast and it is free freeze and lags.
I used CM10.1.3 for much time. I tested many KitKats and Lollipops. I'm using the Euphoria 1.1 (Lollipop CM Based 5.1), it's the best Lollipop for now, but I get some fatal reboots.
I think the CM 10.1.3 still the most stable ROM for intensive daily use (Has more functions than any AOSP).
